MIXING AND DISPENSING APPARATUS
A mixing and dispensing apparatus having first and second containers. The first container has a main body portion which retains a first substance. A separate compartment is located in the first container and an internal passageway is formed between the main body portion and the compartment. The second container is configured to retain a second substance, and is compressible. The second container has a top end and a closed spout, wherein the closed spout is located in the compartment with the spout extending through the internal passageway into the main body portion of said first container. A release mechanism is formed by a plunger extending within the second container. The plunger has a first end in communication with the top end of the second container, and a second end aligned with the closed spout. The second end opens the closed spout when the second container is compressed to release the second substance into the main body portion of the first container.
DURABLE BOTTOM-DISPENSING CONTAINERS
The need for a bottom dispensing packaging that can more easily reflate to its original shape, even when used with containers which are more flexible, is met when the container is provided with a one-way vent which allows the ingress of air into the container while preventing the egress of air from the container.
SQUEEZE BOTTLE DISPENSER WITH SAFETY CONTROL
A squeeze bottle dispenser having a squeezable liquid reservoir, and a discharge head with a discharge opening. The squeeze bottle dispenser has a protective sleeve captively connected to the liquid reservoir and which, with respect to a main axis, is displaceable relative to the liquid reservoir between a protection position and a release position. In the protection position, the protective sleeve prevents or impedes manual application of force to the liquid reservoir and therefore the discharge of liquid. In the release position, the protective sleeve does not prevent or impede manual application of force to the liquid reservoir and thus permits the discharge of liquid.
Containers and methods for mixing and dispensing beverage concentrates
A container (10) for dispensing a liquid beverage concentrate is provided. The liquid beverage concentrate is formed of a first beverage component, disposed in a body (12), and a second beverage component, disposed within a cartridge (30) at least partially within the body, that are initially isolated. The first and second beverage components can be combined to form the liquid beverage concentrate by moving the cartridge, such as further into the body, to unblock a flow path (36) between the cartridge and the body.
Sample dispenser with priming cradle
A sample dispenser includes a dosing unit, a cradle assembly, and tubing connecting the dosing unit and the cradle assembly. The dosing unit is configured to dispense sampling amounts of a flowable substance and includes a nozzle and a mechanical pump communicating with the nozzle. The cradle assembly includes a priming cradle configured to hold a compressible container of the flowable substance and to force the flowable substance out of the compressible container by applying a compressive force to the compressible container. The tubing allows communication of the flowable substance between the compressible container and the pump.
EYE WASHING NOZZLE AND EYE WASHING LIQUID CONTAINER
An eye washing nozzle includes a base portion and a tubular portion and is attached to a container body portion. The base portion is a portion to be fixed to the container body portion. The tubular portion is connected to the base portion. The tubular portion is a portion through which the eye washing liquid passes. The leading end portion of the tubular portion is provided with a discharging port that discharges the eye washing liquid that has passed through the tubular portion.
Squeeze container liquid extrusion tool
An extrusion tool includes a dispenser body having a handle portion, a container-receiving portion, and a base portion. The handle portion is connected to and extends between the container-receiving portion and the base portion. The container-receiving portion defines a forward-facing aperture and a container well extending along a container well axis, where the container well is constructed and arranged to receive and retain a squeeze container with a nozzle of the squeeze container extending through the forward-facing aperture. A trigger is operatively connected to the dispenser body and movable between a non-dispensing position and a dispensing position. The trigger has a finger portion and a contact lever portion that is oriented to move into and out of the container well when the finger portion is moved between the non-dispensing position and the dispensing position.
LIQUID DISPENSING BOTTLE
A container for dispensing a liquid has a housing adapted to hold the liquid with an open upper end and a removable cap mateable with the open end. The housing exterior has a series of vertically spaced recesses that are located to align with fingers of an individual's hand gripping the container. The recesses accept interchangeable inserts that provide a gripping surface for the finger aligned with the recess. The container be constructed with inner and outer walls, the outer wall having apertures for the recesses, while the inner wall provides back surfaces for the recesses. The recesses may be of different sizes, but each is constructed to accept a common-sized insert, which is positioned between the finer and outer walls. The container may be provided with a spray cap having multiple spray exit apertures.
