ADJUSTABLE DOSING DELIVERY AND MULTI SECTIONED DRUG COMPARTMENT
The present invention provides a device for delivering a predetermined volume of a substance, within at least one body cavity of a subject, comprising: a. a predefined volume for containing said predetermined volume of said at least one substance; b. a delivery end for placement in proximity to said body cavity; said delivery end comprises at least one orifice of diameter D [mm]; c. a valve mechanically connectable to said container, characterized by at least two configurations: (i) an active configuration in which said valve enables delivery of predetermined volume V.sub.sub [ml] of said substance; and, (ii) an inactive configuration, in which said valve prevents delivery of said predetermined volume V.sub.sub [ml] of said substance from said container to said body cavity; d. a fluid tight chamber configured to contain predetermined volume V.sub.gas [ml] of pressurized gas at a predetermined pressure, P.sub.gas [barg].
NASAL DELIVERY ASSEMBLY FOR A FLUID PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR ACTUATING THE ASSEMBLY
A nasal fluid dispenser assembly (100) having a first reservoir (110) of fluid, a metering pump (120) mounted on the first reservoir (110) and including a piston (121); a compressed gas flow generator system; a nasal endpiece (150) having a connection portion (151) fastened to the outlets of the pump and valve (140), a fluid chamber (153) that receives the dose of fluid and the flow of compressed gas, and a nasal insertion element (152 that extends longitudinally along an axis (B) and contains a dispenser channel (154) connected to the fluid chamber and has a dispenser orifice (155). The axis (B) forms an angle () relative to the longitudinal axis (A). The dose of fluid is dispensed into the fluid chamber and then expelled under pressure by the flow of compressed gas out from the fluid chamber through the dispenser channel (154) the dispenser orifice (155).
DEVICE FOR NASAL DELIVERY OF A FLUID PRODUCT
Device having a vessel containing a fluid product dose, a compressed gas vessel for dispensing a dose of compressed gas to expel the dose of fluid product, and an intermediate portion having a body and a connection for connecting the vessel to the compressed gas vessel, and an actuating mechanism. The connection has first and second support members and a deformable tube attached thereto. The first support member has a first opening mechanism for opening the vessel and the second support member has a second opening mechanism for opening the compressed gas vessel. A spring is between the first and second support members, the actuating mechanism has a button rigidly connected to a cage which locks the support members axially. When the button is moved radially, the support members are unlocked and the spring moves the two support members towards their actuating positions.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR AEROSOLIZED DELIVERY OF SUBSTANCE TO A NATURAL ORIFICE OF THE BODY
A device for delivering a predetermined amount of a substance within at least one body cavity of a subject, where the predetermined amount is at an effective amount for treatment of obesity or binge eating disorder. The device comprises: (a) A volume to contain the predetermined amount of the substance. (b) A delivery end placeable in proximity to the body cavity. The delivery end is in fluid communication with the volume and comprises at least one orifice. (c) A valve mechanically connected to the volume, with at least two configurations: (i) an active configuration configured to deliver the predetermined amount of the substance; and, (ii) an inactive configuration, in which the valve prevents delivery of the predetermined amount of the substance. (d) A fluid tight chamber configured to contain a predetermined volume of pressurized gas at a predetermined pressure.
Intranasal delivery devices
The present disclosure provides devices for delivery of powder formulations and methods of manufacture and use of such devices.
PUMPS, DISPENSERS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Pumps and dispensers having dosage control and various methods for actuating a pump or piston allow users to deliver a product from a container to be used by the user.
Applicator
An applicator for spraying hair building solids is configured for one-handed operation and includes an applicator body which is connectable with a container including hair building solids. The applicator body includes a top part, a bottom part and a main part extending between the top part and the bottom part; an air pump electrically configured for creating an air flow; and a nozzle for spraying hair building solids out from the applicator. The bottom part includes an attachment structure for attaching the container to the applicator body, a first orifice in flow connection with the air pump for delivering air flow from the air pump via the bottom part and a second orifice in flow connection with the nozzle for delivering hair building solids via the bottom part to the nozzle.
INTRANASAL DELIVERY DEVICES
The present disclosure provides devices for delivery of powder formulations and methods of manufacture and use of such devices.
Device for dispensing a fluid product
A fluid dispenser device comprising: a fluid dispenser orifice (31); an air duct (32, 51, 52) for air under pressure, said air duct including an upstream end and a downstream end that opens out in the proximity of the orifice (31); an air expeller (4) that is suitable for being subjected to elastic squeezing and relaxation stages, the air expeller (4) being connected to the air duct (32, 51, 52) so that, during elastic squeezing stages, it delivers a flow of air through the air duct until it reaches the orifice (31); and a fluid channel (25, 33) that is connected to the air duct (32, 51, 52), the fluid in the channel (25, 33) being sucked up by the flow of air under pressure by the Venturi effect; the device being characterized in that the air expeller (4) has only a single opening (43) that is provided with a connection sleeve (5) that includes an incoming-air passage (53) that is provided with an air-inlet valve (56; 56b; 56c; 56d) that is suitable for allowing outside air to enter into the air expeller during elastic relaxation stages.
