A stroke adjuster and an associated dispenser are provided. An example embodiment provides a dispenser configured to dispense a fluid or foam and comprising a housing and a stroke adjuster. The housing comprises at least one housing engagement surface and defines an adjuster receiving area. The adjuster receiving area is configured to receive the stroke adjuster in one of either a first orientation or a second orientation. When the stroke adjuster is oriented within the dispenser in the first orientation a first surface is oriented upward and, when the dispenser is activated, a lower pump engagement surface of the pump is engaged by the first surface of the stroke adjuster. When the stroke adjuster is oriented within the dispenser in the second position a second surface is oriented upward and, when the dispenser is activated, the lower pump engagement surface is engaged by the housing engagement surface.

A device for dispensing a fluid, including: a feed pipe, a dispensing pipe arranged in order to convey a fluid in a dispensing direction, a deformable pouch, a feed valve, and a dispensing valve. In an open state the feed valve allows fluid to pass from the feed pipe to the inside of the pouch, and, in a closed state, does not allow this. In an open state the dispensing valve allows fluid to pass from the inside of the pouch to the dispensing pipe, and, in a closed state, does not allow this. The dispensing valve is held in the device by tightening between inner walls of the dispensing pipe.

A cream-type cosmetic container comprising a vacuum pump includes a vacuum pump wherein a pumping member performs a pumping operation to discharge contents when a button cap is rotated by a predetermined section, such that contents having high viscosity can be discharged even with a small force. A discharged amount of contents can be controlled according to a rotation angle of the button cap, therefore making it possible for user to control the discharged amount of contents as much as needed.

Disclosed are self-sealing actuators and pumps for distributing fluids such as personal care products. The actuator can include a nozzle having an outlet that is opens and closes via movement of a plug. A limit rod is configured to engage with the plug and upon actuation the assembly opens a passage for the fluid to flow through an inner channel of the limit rod and to the outlet. Upon de-actuation, the assembly closes the passage sealing the fluid within a closed environment to prevent degradation and caking. Actuators and pumps as described protect the performance of active ingredients within the fluid and prevent the nozzle and outlet from blocking with dried or caked fluid.

Rechargeable containers and dispensers, in particular spray bottle dispensers including structures such as strips, pouches, pills, capsules and the like for providing concentrates of chemical agents for charging or recharging the spray bottle dispenser, preferably, individual chemical refill charges containing chemical concentrate are deployed within the spray bottle dispenser to fully contain any inadvertent spillage of chemicals, and to insure a high degree of safety against accidental spills or ingestion. The device is specifically designed for reuse, having a wider opening which is easier to fill, clean and refill without spills, readily accommodates concentrate inserts in any format, minimizes trigger failure, and has a wide base for stability.

A spray dispenser is provided, the spray dispenser comprising a container for holding a liquid to be dispensed and a dispensing assembly for extracting liquid from said container, the dispensing assembly comprising a pressure-relief valve for release of excessive pressure in the container and a filter arranged to permit egress of gas through the filter, inhibit egress of liquid from the container and to inhibit ingress of contaminants into the container through the pressure relief valve. An outlet valve assembly for a fluid dispenser of a type having a pump fluidically coupled to a fluid reservoir includes an outlet nipple having a proximal end configured to be fluidically coupled to the pump and a distal end opposite the proximal end. The outlet nipple defines a conduit extending in a flow direction and has an annular protrusion extending radially inwardly intermediate the proximal end and the distal end. An outlet nozzle is coaxially received within the distal end of the outlet nipple. A resiliently deformable valve member is received within the conduit. The valve member includes a valve head portion having one or more slits defining an orifice and a peripheral valve portion outward of the valve head portion. The peripheral valve portion is retained between the annular protrusion of the outlet nipple and an end edge surface of the outlet nozzle.
