Foam dispensers

A foam dispenser has a foam-generating pump (1) mounted on a container (100) to hold liquid. The pump (1) has a liquid intake conduit with a ball valve (27) and an air intake conduit (45) provided partly by a jacket component (4) fitting around the pump body (2) with clearance. The pump has structure defining a mixing zone (50) for mixing air and liquid, a foam chamber (28) for holding foam received from the mixing zone, and a discharge conduit leading from the foam chamber to a discharge outlet (36). The mixed air and liquid pass through a permeable foam regulator mesh (54). One or more air inlets (47) lead into the mixing zone (50) from the air intake conduit (45). A liquid inlet in the form of a restricted jet orifice (89) leads into the mixing zone (50) from the liquid intake conduit, upstream of the inlet ball valve (27). A regulator mesh (53) is also provided between the liquid inlet and mixing zone.

Dispensing device suitable for a foamable product

A dispensing device for dispensing a foamable product. The dispensing device comprises a dispensing channel (110; 210; 410). The dispensing channel has: an inlet (111; 211; 411) for communicating with a valve-element (120) of a container (130) containing the foamable product; and an outlet (112; 212; 412) for dispensing the foamable product. The dispensing channel (110; 210; 410) further comprises a variable-volume cavity (140; 240; 440) at the outlet. The variable-volume cavity (140; 240; 440) is defined at least partly by a first component (142; 242; 442) and a second component (144; 244; 444) that is separate from and rigidly movably with respect to the first component to vary the volume of the variable-volume cavity (140; 240; 440) between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the variable-volume cavity (140; 240; 440) has a first volume and the outlet (112; 212; 412) is closed. In the second configuration, the variable-volume cavity has a second volume and the outlet (112; 212; 412) is open. The second volume is greater than the first volume.

The one or more mix media are located near an end of the spout. An outlet nozzle is also provided and is located downstream of the one or more mix media.

A pump dispenser having a bottle with a neck and a pump assembly. The pump assembly includes an actuator, a closure connected to the actuator and coupled to the neck of the bottle, a dip tube, and a dual chamber pump. The dual chamber pump includes a piston assembly, a sealing cap, and a housing, which includes a pump chamber, a storage chamber having a cavity, and a core. The sealing cap is rigidly connected to the core and closes the storage chamber at a lower portion such that the substance to be released remains stored in the storage chamber cavity. When the actuator is pushed down for a first time by a user, a piston assembly moves to push down a connecting stem, which pushes down the sealing cap to open the storage chamber for releasing the substance contained in the storage chamber from the bottle.
