An agricultural sprayer arrangement includes a chassis; a ground engaging traction member carried by the chassis; a liquid tank carried by the chassis; a boom carried by the chassis; a conduit associated with the boom in fluid communication with the liquid tank that acts as a fluid flow path; a nozzle having an inlet in fluid communication with the conduit; a first flow sensor placed upstream of the inlet in the fluid flow path that provides a first flow signal; a second flow sensor placed downstream of the inlet in the fluid flow path that provides a second flow signal; and an electrical processing circuit coupled to the first flow sensor and the second flow sensor that is configured to compare the first and second flow signals to determine a flow rate decrease and issue an alarm if the flow rate decrease is less than a predetermined threshold level.

Method and system for detecting, characterizing and assessing the quality of a spray

The present disclosure relates to a method for the detection, characterization and assessment of the quality of a spray which is produced by atomizing liquids with nozzles of different designs and constructional forms. The spray may have an application-specific droplet size distribution ranging from fine to very coarse droplets which move at different speeds. A radar signal is directed into and reflected by the spray. The reflected radar signal is subject to a Doppler shift caused by the movement of the droplets in the spray. The transmitted and received radar signals are mixed to create a low-frequency Doppler oscillation signal which is sampled at a predetermined rate with an analog-digital converter, the output of which is stored in a data array and transformed from the time domain into the frequency domain for further processing.

Adhesive dripping device for adhesive dispensing equipment

PRETREATED WASTEWATER SPRAY SYSTEM
20190015846 · 2019-01-17 ·

A sprayer system for spraying water, onto and for absorption by, a surrounding area, such as used in wastewater treatment. The sprayer system includes a substantially vertical tubular housing extending from a well base to a distal end from which water communicated to the sprayer system is discharged. The tubular housing includes an inner tubular casing slidably supporting a piston assembly which is movable from the well base to the distal end in response to water communicated from a source to the well base. The piston assembly includes a primary check valve that is biased into engagement with an associated seat and includes a spray nozzle located downstream of the main check valve. When water from the source is applied to an effective pressure area on the piston assembly, an upwardly directed force is applied to the piston assembly when water is delivered to the well base. At least one bypass passage communicates bypass water to a region defined between the piston housing and an inside wall of the tubular casing so that warming water is delivered from the well base and flows around the outside surface of the piston assembly, whereby icing, which would otherwise block movement of the piston assembly, is inhibited.

Nozzle control system and method

A system for controlling nozzle flow rate includes a master node having an expected overall flow rate module configured to generate an expected overall flow rate of an agricultural product based on one or more sprayer characteristics, and an adjustment module configured to generate an error correction based on a difference between the expected overall flow rate and an actual overall flow rate of the agricultural product. A plurality of smart nozzles are in communication with the master node, each of the smart nozzles includes an electronic control unit in communication with one or more control valves and one or more nozzle assemblies. Each of the smart nozzles includes a target smart nozzle flow rate module configured to generate a target smart nozzle flow rate of the agricultural product based on the one or more sprayer characteristics. The target smart nozzle flow rate is adjusted according to the error correction.

MANUALLY-OPERATED PAINT SPRAY GUN

A manually-operated paint spray gun includes a body having a nozzle for atomizing paint to be sprayed and a handle forming a handgrip and provided with a connector for the inflow of compressed air to be supplied to the nozzle, wherein the handle of the gun has a compressed air regulator operatively associated to which is a pressure sensor at least part of which is arranged in a removable portion of the handle forming a substantial part of the dorsal area of the handgrip and is separated from the inflow connector.

Liquid-dispensing system, apparatus and method

A liquid-dispensing system includes at least one nozzle configured to dispense a liquid. The liquid-dispensing system includes at least one sensor module, configured to provide a sensor signal comprising information related to whether liquid is dispensed by the at least one nozzle. At least a part of the at least one sensor is located in proximity of the nozzle.

SENSING AND CONTROL OF LIQUID APPLICATION USING AN AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

An agricultural machine applies liquid material to a field. Valve control signals control valves to apply the liquid material. Row pressure on the agricultural machine is sensed to identify when the valve is opened to apply the liquid material. The valve control signals are generated, based on the row pressure, to control the valves to apply the liquid material at a desired location in the field, relative to plant locations in the field.

An inhaler is proposed having an insertable container and a monitoring device for counting uses of the inhaler. The monitoring device is arranged in a detachable housing part or fitted onto a mouthpiece of the inhaler. A supply air current is detected by means of a pressure sensor. A position sensor may further be provided.
