A programmable networked variable atomizer (PNVA) assembly is provided. In one embodiment, the PNVA assembly includes an atomizing portion. The atomizing portion includes multiple miniature fluid control valves and an air assisted atomizing outlet. The PNVA assembly also includes a PNVA electronic module. The PNVA electronic module includes a microcontroller, at least one pulse width modulation driver, a wireless radio, a differential pressure sensor, and a laser targeting LED.

A portable inhalation device includes a medication storage component, a flow controller, an atomizer, a medication delivery component, and a pressure sensor. The medication storage component is configured to store medication. The flow controller is configured to cause a force to be applied to the medication stored by the medication storage component to transport the medication to the atomizer. The atomizer is configured to generate droplets from the medication. The medication delivery component includes a delivery channel extending from the atomizer to an outlet opening. The medication delivery component is configured to receive the medication in the delivery channel from the atomizer and dispense the medication via the opening. The pressure sensor is configured to detect a pressure corresponding to a flow rate of air in the delivery channel and output an indication of the detected pressure.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed for a spray nozzle 100, 200, 600. A spray nozzle 100, 200, 600 includes a housing 102 with an inlet 104 and/or a nose cone 106. An axis of an inlet 104 is disposed perpendicular to an axis of a nose cone 106, the housing 102 comprising an internal chamber formed within the housing 102. A spray nozzle 100, 200, 600 includes a nozzle holder 204. A nozzle holder 204 is disposed within an internal chamber of a body. A nozzle holder 204 is secured at a nozzle seat 202 coupled to a nose cone 106. A distal end of a nozzle holder 204 is free to rotate within an internal chamber of a housing 102 along a conical path having a vertex at approximately a nozzle seat 202 of a body. A nozzle holder 204 comprises an internal fluid channel to direct a fluid stream from a distal end of the nozzle holder 204 to a nozzle seat 202.

The flow meter can be placed between an air motor and a valve. The flow meters can be placed downstream and upstream of the valve, respectively. The flow meters can be placed downstream and upstream of a joint, respectively. The flow meters can be placed downstream and upstream of a pump, respectively.
