20210037729 · 2021-02-11 ·

An irrigation management system which allows for modulation of the watering gradient along crop rows. The system may include dual drip lines which allow for selection of gradients based upon the time each of the dual lines is active. The system may utilize pressure sensitive valves which select drip lines based upon the inlet feed water pressure. The system may include drip emitters which modify flow rates based upon inlet feed water pressure.

Spray head for supplying at least one die of a forming machine with lubricating coolant, and method for producing such a spray head

A spray head for supplying at least one die of a forming machine with lubricating coolant, the forming machine including a lower die and an upper die, is preferably produced by rapid manufacturing and is designed as a single piece to a large extent. The use of rapid manufacturing allows the production of the most varied configurations, such as stabilizing honey-comb structures or drip points, which allow a more advantageous design of the spray head. The spray head carries at least one two-substance nozzle connected with at least one feed channel. The nozzle body of the nozzle and the channel wall of the feed channel are configured in one piece with one another or the channel wall of the feed channel and a spray head foot carrying a supply connector connected with the feed channel are configured in one piece with one another.

System and method for fluid dispense and coverage control
10946411 · 2021-03-16 · ·

Techniques herein include systems and methods for dispensing liquids on a substrate with real-time coverage control and removal control. Techniques also encompass quality control of dispense systems. Systems and methods enable visual examination of liquids progressing on a surface of a substrate. This includes capturing and/or examining stroboscopic images of movement of a given liquid on a working surface of a substrate, and then generating feedback data for modifying a corresponding dispense. Dispenses can be modified by increasing/decreasing a dispense rate and increasing/decreasing a rotational velocity of a substrate. Feedback can be generated by automated and/or manual analysis of real time progression as well as post-process analysis of collections of images.

SPRINKLER ELBOW CONNECTOR WITH INTEGRAL PRESSURE REGULATOR
20210046498 · 2021-02-18 ·

A pressure regulator for use in an elbow connector for use with a sprinkler assembly including a pressure responsive member, movably mounted in the elbow connector and movable from an open position allowing flow of water into the sprinkler assembly and a closed position where the bottom edge of the pressure responsive member blocks the flow of water into the sprinkler assembly. The pressure responsive member is biased in the open position and moves into the closed position when downstream water pressure exceeds a predetermined value.

Spraying Systems and Vehicles

Provided is a vehicle-mountable agricultural fluid spraying system with a plurality of spray nozzles that can be individually turned on and off while maintaining substantially constant spray pressure and flow rate through those of the spray nozzles that are on, all without the need for any variation in speed of a pump, and without any communication with any pressure sensor or flow rate sensor. This is accomplished by providing a return fluid communication system having valves and other components that activate and open incrementally when the spray nozzles are incrementally turned off, such that the pressurized fluid in the system remains at substantially the same pressure as any or all of the spray nozzles are turned on and off, including at high frequency by pulse width modulation. Also provided are vehicles such as tractors and trailers with such spraying systems mounted thereto.
