Double-nozzle injector capable of spraying evenly at medium and low pressure
An injecting body of the injector is provided with two outlets. One outlet is connected to an auxiliary nozzle in a threaded manner, and the other outlet is connected to an injecting element body in a threaded manner. The water taking signal nozzle circularly takes signal water and air conveniently and reliably, so that a low-pressure vortex region is discontinuously formed at one side of the injecting element body; formation and disappearance of a pressure difference between a left cavity and a right cavity can be implemented in an automatic control manner, and wall attachment of water and rotation of the injector are implemented. The auxiliary nozzle is primarily used for supplementing near water distribution of the double-nozzle injector capable of spraying at a medium and low pressure, so as to improve spraying evenness.
Method And System For In Row Variable Rate Precision Irrigation
An irrigation management system which allows for modulation of the watering gradient along crop rows. The system may include dual drip lines which allow for selection of gradients based upon the time each of the dual lines is active. The system may utilize pressure sensitive valves which select drip lines based upon the inlet feed water pressure. The system may include drip emitters which modify flow rates based upon inlet feed water pressure.
Haptic system for establishing a contact free interaction between at least one part of a user's body and a virtual environment
A haptic system for establishing an interaction between at least one part of the body of a user called stimulation zone and a virtual environment comprises means for estimating the position of the stimulation zone; means for emitting, toward the stimulation zone, at least one flow rate-controlled air jet, the air jet being emitted at a point of emission and its flow rate being determined as a function of the estimated position of the stimulation zone in space and of the characteristics of the virtual environment; a robotized structure controlled so as to move the point of emission of the air jet so that said point of emission remains at a constant distance from the stimulation zone.
Smoke generator and method of controlling a smoke generation
The invention relates to a method of controlling a smoke generator. The smoke generator is adapted to be connected to a supply of a pressurized gas and a supply of a smoke liquid and further comprises a valve to regulate the pressure of the gas, a fluid driving means, a mixing unit for mixing the smoke liquid and the gas, and a heat exchanger heating the mixture of the pressurized gas and the smoke liquid to vaporize the smoke liquid and form a smoke upon ejection into surrounding air. The control method according to the invention then comprises the steps of receiving a smoke density parameter indicative of a desired amount of smoke to be generated by the smoke generator, measuring a gas pressure at a position between the valve and the heat exchanger, and using these parameters in controlling the valve. The invention further relates to a smoke generator arranged for performing the control method.
System and device for clearing blockage from a flow orifice
In an applicator assembly for applying a fluid in which the applicator assembly defines at least a portion of a flow path, the assembly may comprise an upstream fluid source, a downstream applicator for forming a point of application, a conduit generally connecting the fluid source to the applicator, an orifice structure defining an orifice opening configured such that fluid flowing along the flow path passes through the orifice opening, and an orifice inverting structure configured to reverse flow through the orifice opening of the orifice structure.
PRESSURE REGULATOR WITH CHECK VALVE FOR SPRINKLERS
A water pressure regulator with check valve for sprinklers comprising a housing, a shaft assembly, a spring, and a skirt element. The pressure regulator is a separate unit that can be inserted into the stem or movable riser of a typical pop-up sprinkler or other sprinklers. As the irrigation water passes through the pressure regulator of the present invention, the water pressure displaces the shaft assembly upward relative to the housing. The higher the shaft assembly is displaced, the smaller the cross-sectional area through which water passes within the housing or skirt element. The variation in the size of the cross-sectional area allows the present invention to regulate the out flowing water pressure of the irrigation water. When the flow of irrigation water stops, the spring pushes the shaft assembly downward so as to seal the hole through which water flows thus serving as a check valve. The separate unit design allows the pressure regulator of the present invention to be retrofittable into a common pop-up sprinkler.
DUCT THROTTLED SPRAYER NOZZLE ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS FOR SAME
A sprayer nozzle assembly includes a control valve configured to control a flow rate of agricultural product according to a duty cycle having valve open and valve closed positions. The assembly includes a sprayer tip having a tip orifice for spraying the agricultural product. A throttled interface duct interconnects the control valve and the sprayer tip. The throttled interface duct includes an interface duct profile. The interface duct profile is configured to decrease a flow characteristic of the agricultural product while the control valve is in the valve closed position.
Lower gas flow injection system and method for additive manufacturing system
An additive manufacturing (AM) system includes a housing defining a chamber, a build platform disposed in the chamber at a first elevation, and a lower gas inlet disposed at a second elevation and configured to supply a lower gas flow. The AM system includes a contoured surface extending between the lower gas inlet and the build platform to direct the lower gas flow from the second elevation at the lower gas inlet to the first elevation at the build platform, where the contoured surface discharges the lower gas flow in a direction substantially parallel to the build platform. The AM system also includes one or more gas delivery devices coupled to the lower gas inlet to regulate one or more flow characteristics of the lower gas flow, and a gas outlet configured to discharge the lower gas flow.
System, method and apparatus for providing constant pressure within an irrigation system at reduced flow rates
The present invention provides a system and method for maintaining desired pressure levels in an irrigation system when the flow rate available to the irrigation system is reduced below the system's required flow rate. According to a first preferred embodiment, the present invention teaches a method which includes the steps of: receiving and storing irrigation system information including sprinkler specifications, flow rates and pressure requirements; receiving and storing an irrigation plan to be executed including the target amount of an applicant to be applied to a target area; determining an available flow rate to the irrigation system; determining a required flow rate of the irrigation machine; comparing the available flow rate to the required flow rate to determine whether the available flow is sufficient for the system based on the sprinkler specifications; adjusting the pulse rate of the sprinklers to reduce the require flow rate to at least the available flow rate; and calculating and selecting a lower ground speed required to apply the target amount of applicant to the target area based on the selected pulse rate for the sprinklers.
