A sprayer that senses the presence or character of a surface to be sprayed includes one or more sensors configured to detect a presence or character of a surface to be sprayed; and a dispenser assembly including one or more components configured to modify at least one spray characteristic of a formulation based on an input from at least one of the one or more sensors indicative of the presence or character of the surface to be sprayed.
COATING METHOD AND CORRESPONDING COATING INSTALLATION
The disclosure relates to a coating method including the specification of at least one coating path for moving a paint impact point along at least one coating path over the surface, the at least one coating path running through a surface region of the component to be coated which is bounded by edges. The disclosure also includes, presetting reference values of the spatial edge point positions and/or of the edge point orientations of the surface region, spatial measurement of position, orientation and/or shape of the component to be coated or of a part of the component to be coated with a measuring system, where, in the course of the spatial measurement, measured values of the edge point positions and/or of the edge point orientations of the edge points on the edges of the surface region are measured. Lastly, the disclosure includes determining the deviation between the measured values of the edge point positions and/or the edge point orientations and the reference values of the edge point positions and/or the edge point orientations, and adapting the coating path as a function of the deviation between the reference values of the edge point positions and the measured values of the edge point orientations.
AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER WITH REAL-TIME, ON-MACHINE TARGET SENSOR
An agricultural applicator, that applies material to an agricultural field, includes an on-board, real-time image sensor that senses targets for the material to be applied. A controller controls applicators, such as nozzles or other applicators, to apply the material to the sensed targets
Autonomously Operable Sanitation Sprayer
An apparatus and methods are provided for a remotely operable sanitation sprayer for quickly disinfecting large indoor spaces. The sanitation sprayer includes a body supported by drive wheels and one or more casters. The drive wheels are configured to rotate at different speeds to steer the sanitation sprayer. A boom comprising a generally elongate member is vertically coupled with the body. Nozzles disposed along the length of the boom are configured to disperse a disinfectant into the indoor space. The nozzles are of an electrostatic variety configured to electrostatically charge the disinfectant exiting the sanitation sprayer. The sanitation sprayer further includes electronic equipment for remotely operating the sanitation sprayer. A front of the sanitation sprayer may be equipped with one or more cameras and sensors that facilitate detecting nearby objects. The cameras and sensors may be configured provide a first-person view to a practitioner remotely operating the sanitation sprayer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING SPRAYING OPERATIONS WITH AN AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER
A method for performing spraying operations includes monitoring a field condition of a first swath based on data received from a sensor as an agricultural sprayer makes a first pass across a field, the sensor being associated with a first boom section assembly extending over the first swath during the first pass. The method further includes controlling a nozzle assembly as the sprayer makes a second pass across the field to perform a spraying operation along the first swath based on the monitored field condition of the first swath, the nozzle assembly being associated with a second boom section assembly extending over the first swath during the second pass. Additionally, the method includes monitoring a field condition of a second swath based on data received from the sensor as the sprayer makes the second pass across the field.
SPRAY GUN ALIGNMENT FOR PRECISION APPLICATION OF CONTAINER COATINGS
A spray gun alignment system precisely aligns a spray gun of a container spray machine for precision application of container coatings. The spray gun alignment system generates a spray gun alignment jig including a container holder adapter and a spray gun adapter. The container holder adapter is inserted into a container holder of the spray machine, and the spray gun adapter is fastened to the spray gun. The spray gun alignment jig is configured to position the spray gun in proper alignment with respect to the container holder.
AUTOMATED DRONE-BASED PAINT DELIVERY SYSTEM
An automated drone-based surface treatment material delivery system includes a drone having a body, at least one propeller rotatably supported by the body, at least one propeller motor supported by the body and configured to selectively apply motive power to the at least one propeller, and a controller supported by the body and configured to control a flight path of the drone at least by manipulating a speed of the at least one propeller. The drone also has a rotary atomizer supported by the body for movement therewith. The rotary atomizer includes a rotating dispersion structure configured to disperse a surface treatment material from a material supply.
FLUID DELIVERY ALIGNMENT SYSTEM
Aspects of the invention include a device for fluid delivery to the ocular surface having a self-alignment system. The fluid delivery device includes a fluid package having a reservoir and one or more apertures, an actuator component configured to eject fluid from the reservoir through the one or more apertures and an image-based self-alignment system configured to align fluid ejected through the one or more apertures with a target location on the eye of a user. Also provided are methods of using the devices in fluid delivery applications, as well as a kit that includes components of the devices.
Methods, Apparatuses, and Systems for Smart Delivery of Coating Material
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are disclosed for controlling the release of a coating material to a substrate surface, with the system and apparatuses emulating an experienced human artisan by sensing condition parameters and substrate parameters and comparing parameters to stored parameter values and value ranges.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DELIVERING FLUID DROPLETS ONTO AN OPEN AND STATIONARY TRAY
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for delivering droplets of fluids onto an open tray (15) containing poultry. According to the invention, the apparatus comprises a stationary working surface, a single arm (16) supporting a plurality of fluid dispensing nozzles, a drive unit for driving the translation of said arm (16), said plurality of dispensing nozzles being connected to at least one fluid supply circuit comprising a fluid reservoir and a pumping unit, a control unit configured to control the drive unit of the arm and to define at least one duration T of travel of the arm (16) above said working surface.
