Exemplary embodiments of energy efficient foam pumps and dispensers are disclosed herein. An exemplary foam dispenser included a housing, a reservoir for holding a foamable liquid, a motor, a motor shaft, and a turbine air pump. The turbine air pump is connected to the motor shaft. A cam is also attached to the motor shaft and is used for driving a liquid pump. Liquid from the liquid pump and air from the turbine air pump are mixed in a mixing chamber and dispensed through an outlet nozzle. The touch-free foam dispenser further includes a sensor for sensing an object, circuitry for receiving a signal from the sensor indicative of an object being present and circuitry for energizing the motor to dispense fluid in the form of a foam.

Water Saving Motion Activated Showerhead Device
20230381795 · 2023-11-30 ·

A water saving motion activated showerhead device for saving water and energy and providing entertainment includes a housing, which is attachable to an inlet pipe of a shower enclosure so that a spray is generated by holes positioned in a front of the housing. A sensor detects motion in the shower enclosure in an area upon which the spray is directed and signals a valve to control a flow of water through the housing. A receiver receives an audio signal from an electronic device of a user and relays the audio signal to a speaker attached to the housing for broadcast. A heating module in the housing selectively heats the water that passes through the housing.

Systems and methods for thrust-vectored practical fluid flow effects

An amusement park attraction effects system includes a dynamic display for viewing by a user traveling through an attraction, a display monitor to provide status data indicative of a status of the dynamic display, a location identification system to determine a location of the user, a thrust-vectoring flow effect generator to generate and direct a fluid flow toward any particular target location of a range of target locations, and an automation controller communicatively coupled to the display monitor, the location identification system, and the thrust-vectoring flow effect generator. The automation controller is configured to receive the status data, receive the location of the user, set a target location based on the location of the user, instruct the thrust-vectoring flow effect generator to direct the fluid flow based on the target location, and instruct the thrust-vectoring flow effect generator to control the fluid flow based on the status data.

Apparatus and method for applying a sealing and/or coating substance

An apparatus for applying a sealing and/or a coating substance to a component, in particular a vehicle body component. The apparatus includes kinematics, a spray device, and a sensor. The apparatus is configured to: a) acquire computer-aided design (CAD)-based information on the component; and in real time: b) acquire actual information on the component by the first sensor; c) create a movement profile for the kinematics and an application profile for the spray device on a basis of the CAD-based information and the actual information; and d) execute the movement profile and the application profile on the component.
