Agricultural sprayer with real-time, on-machine target sensor

An agricultural applicator, that applies material to an agricultural field, includes an on-board, real-time image sensor that senses targets for the material to be applied. A controller controls applicators, such as nozzles or other applicators, to apply the material to the sensed targets.

TOUCHLESS DISPENSER
20230390796 · 2023-12-07 ·

The present disclosure is directed to touchless dispensers that include features that are adjustable or selectable to receive various sized and shaped dispensers. For example, the dispensers may include a container and a dispense portion (e.g., a spray mechanism, a pump mechanism, or some other dispense mechanism). The touchless dispensers include a controller in electrical communication with a sensor and an actuator. When the sensor detects an object, the sensor sends a signal to the controller, and the controller interprets and reviews the signal from the sensor. If the controller determines an object is present, the controller sends a signal to the actuator, and the actuator moves in response to push against the dispenser. The actuator pushing against the dispenser causes the dispense portion to be depressed and to be dispense or expelled out of the touchless dispenser.

METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC GLUE-SPRAYING OF STRINGER AND INSPECTION OF GLUE-SPRAYING QUALITY
20210331191 · 2021-10-28 ·

A method for automatic glue-spraying of stringers and inspection of glue-spraying quality based on measured data. Three-dimensional (3D) point cloud data of a stringer-skin assembly is collected by 3D laser scanner, and then processed by denoising and sampling. Feature points of an intersection line of a site to be glued of the stringer-skin assembly are extracted by K-means clustering method based on Gaussian mapping, and a minimum spanning tree is constructed based on a set of the extracted feature points. A connected region is established to obtain an initial feature intersection line of the string-skin assembly, which is optimized by random sample consensus algorithm to remove redundant small branch structures to obtain the actual glue-spraying trajectory. The quality of the glue sprayed on the stringer-skin assembly is inspected by line laser to determine positions of the defects, which are then subjected to secondary glue-spraying.

The invention relates to a system for testing a perfume, comprising a housing, a test member able to be at least partially inserted into the housing so as to be impregnated with the perfume, a dispensing device for dispensing the perfume on the test member, a sensor for detecting the presence of the test member, an actuator for actuating the dispensing device, and a processing unit which controls the actuator in order to trigger the dispensing during extraction of the test member.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO MONITOR NOZZLE SPRAY QUALITY

A system for monitoring spray quality of an agricultural vehicle is provided herein that includes a boom assembly and a nozzle positioned along the boom assembly. A flow regulator is operably coupled with the nozzle and is configured to control a flow of agricultural product through the nozzle. A sensor is configured to capture data indicative of a spray exhausted from the nozzle. A spray quality controller is communicatively coupled to the sensor. The controller is configured to receive flow data from the flow regulator indicative of a demanded application rate; receive the captured data from the sensor as the agricultural vehicle travels across the field; and generate a malfunction notification when the flow data from the flow regulator indicates a flow to the nozzle and the captured data from the sensor indicates a lack of spray from the nozzle.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AND MONITORING BATHROOM WATER FLOW

The disclosure relates to a device that saves water, energy, and money and may record the savings with a software analytics dashboard. The device allows cold water to flow out when the shower is first turned on and slows or shuts water flow once the water is heated and the shower is unoccupied. After the presence of the user is detected, the shower flow may resume.
