Dispenser for binary viscous fluids with aggregate
Apparatus for blending and applying plural substances including aggregate onto an environmental substrate is shown and described. The apparatus includes optionally a single power plant, plural pumps each fed by a respective hopper, and a blender blending pumped materials together. Dispensing ratios of the two pumps are mutually adjustable. An onboard air compressor delivers compressed air for atomizing blended materials as they are dispensed with the aggregate. Because materials may be curable or hardenable, flushing is enabled. The apparatus may be a free standing wheeled device.
Systems and methods for fluid ratio control
A multi-component fluid delivery system includes a first fluid pump and a second fluid pump. The first and the second fluid pumps are not mechanically coupled to each other. The multi-component fluid delivery system further includes a control system comprising a processor configured to derive a slip ratio for the first fluid pump and the second fluid pump. The processor is additionally configured to apply a master-slave motor control to deliver a specified fluid ratio via the first and the second fluid pumps based on the slip ratio.
Pump arrangement and corresponding operating method
A pump arrangement, in particular in a coating installation for the coating of components, such as a painting installation for the painting of motor vehicle body components, is provided. The pump arrangement includes a plurality of adjustable pumps for delivering a coating agent, e.g. for delivering a sealing agent for the sealing of weld seams on a motor vehicle body component. The pumps are connected in parallel such that the pumps extract the coating agent for delivery from a common inlet line and deliver said coating agent into a common outlet line. The arrangement further includes a control device for the open-loop or closed-loop control of one fluid variable at the outlet of the individual pumps, respectively, wherein the control device actuates the individual pumps individually, and/or a monitoring unit, which switches the pumps on and off non-simultaneously.
DISPENSER FOR DISPENSING LIQUID OR PASTY SUBSTANCES
In a dispenser for dispensing at least two liquid or pasty substances from receptacles to a dispenser head, constant delivery pumps are connected therebetween to compensate for viscosity variations and keep a given mixing ratio constant.
Continuous production of particles
The present invention discloses a method to continuously manufacture micro- and/or nanoparticles of single component particles or multi-component particles such as particulate amorphous solid dispersions or particulate co-crystals. The continuous method comprises the steps of 1. preparing a first solution comprising at least one component and at least one solvent and a second solution comprising at least one anti-solvent of the at least one component comprised in the first solution, 2. mixing said first solution and said second solution by means of microfluidization to produce a suspension by precipitation or co-precipitation, 3. feeding said suspension to a filtration system to obtain a concentrate stream, 4. feeding said concentrate stream to a spray dryer, 5. atomizing said concentrate stream using at least one atomization nozzle, 6. drying said atomized concentrate stream to obtain particles, and 7. collecting said particles. Single component particles or multi-component particles, particulate amorphous solid dispersions, particulate co-crystals and pharmaceutical compositions are also disclosed.
APPARATUS FOR DISPENSING A MIXTURE OF AT LEAST TWO LIQUID COMPONENTS
Disclosed herein is an apparatus for dispensing a mixture of at least two liquid components. The apparatus may comprise an A liquid component source fluidly connected with an A liquid component pump driven by a first motor; and a B liquid component source fluidly connected with a B liquid component pump driven by the first motor. Each of the A liquid component pump and the B liquid component pump may comprise at least two chambers. The A liquid component pump and the B liquid component pump may be fluidly connected with a dispenser unit. There may be one or more A liquid temperature regulators between the A liquid component pump and the dispenser unit. Similarly, there may be one or more B liquid temperature regulators between the B liquid component pump and the dispenser unit.
Proportioning pump, control systems and applicator apparatus
An absolute proportioning pumping system includes an electric motor assembly powering a first pump at a first flow rate and powering a second pump at a second flow rate. A proportioned fluid output includes a first fluid pumped by the first pump and a second fluid pumped by the second pump. The pumping system provides a desired ratio of the first fluid to the second fluid at the proportioned fluid output, relatively independently of pressure and flow rate at the output. In accord with further embodiments, a pump and motor assembly is mounted to and generally surrounded by a liquid tank. The pump and motor assembly may include a pair of fixed ratio outputs driven from a common motor, or may include a single variable output pump either slaved to a master pump or controlled through a timed bypass valve to control output flow rate.
Plural component proportioner comprising a first pump and a second pump simultaneously driven by a motor connected to the pumps by a yoke assembly comprising a shoe, a tie plate including a slot, and a tie rod
A two-component pumping system includes a first pump for pumping a first component, a second pump for pumping a second component, a motor, and a yoke assembly for connecting the motor to the first pump and the second pump and driving them simultaneously. The first pump includes a first displacement rod that reciprocates in a first pump axis. The second pump includes a second displacement rod that reciprocates in a second pump axis parallel to the first pump axis. The motor includes a drive shaft configured to reciprocate in a drive axis that is parallel to and in a common plane with the first and second pump axes. The motor is also configured to drive the first and second displacement rods in unison. The yoke assembly includes a top connector and a shoe. The top connector connects to the drive shaft.
