METHODS FOR MAKING PRE-FABRICATED INSULATED WALL STRUCTURES AND APPARATUS FOR USE IN SUCH METHODS
Methods of manufacturing pre-fabricated insulated wall structures are described in this specification. The methods include (a) attaching a foam panel to a front frame surface of a substantially horizontally positioned frame; (b) placing the frame having the foam panel attached thereto on a track conveyor configured to convey the frame having the foam panel attached thereto in a substantially upright position; (c) conveying the frame having the foam panel attached thereto on the track conveyer in a substantially upright position to a spray foam application station; and (d) spray applying a spray foam composition into a cavity of the frame to form a substantially upright positioned wall structure having a foam layer deposited in the cavity in which the foam layer adheres to the foam panel. Also disclosed are track conveyors suitable for use in such methods.
Permanent Color-Matched Paint Tape
A tape for applying to a building surface prior to painting with an architectural paint having a color and a texture in which the tape remains in place after completion of the painting is described. The tape includes a substrate sheet, a pressure sensitive adhesive, and a coating. The tape is configured such that a portion of the coated side of the tape has a color and a texture that is similar or the same as the color and texture of the architectural paint. In this way, the portion of the building surface covered by the tape produces the general appearance and feel of the painted building surface after completion of the painting.
TAPE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A tape assembly for masking an object to be painted and method of use is provided. The tape assembly is defined by a tape body having an anterior side, a posterior side, a body first edge, and an opposing body second edge. The tape body includes a first portion including a first substrate having a first adhesive layer on a posterior side of the first substrate, a second portion including a second substrate having a second adhesive layer on an anterior side of the second substrate, and a third portion including a third substrate having a third adhesive layer on a posterior side of the third substrate. The first and third portions partially overlap with the second portion in opposing first and second overlapping regions, respectively.
PAINTING TAPE SYSTEM
A paint tape system is provided having a base tape and a base tape liner for accurately mounting on a surface to be painted and applying paint on said surface utilizing a paint cavity formed by use of the system.
Painters Masking tape tool
The invention is a functional versatile and efficient tool of simplistic design comprising of a frame body with an integral front and rear shoes, in conjunction with a spool used for the accurate placement of readily available standard tape width to an intersection for masking purposes. A tape roll mounts onto a spool affixed to a frame body. Tape is drawn around the front shoe and under the rear shoe for placement and embedding. The front shoe and rear shoe glide against the adjacent surface to act as a guide for parallel tape placement to the intersection. A removable cutter assembly with retractable cutter guard, severs the tape cleanly and a removable measuring stop ensures tape length accuracy up to an abutting surface. Snap-on sleeves corresponding to various standard tape widths are affixed to the front and rear shoes. Simplicity of design ensures low cost manufacturing with readily available materials.
Masking device
A masking device for covering a masking area. The masking device includes a first member, a second member, and a third member. The masking device further includes a base formed by the first member, the second member, and the third member. The base defines a top surface and a bottom surface. The masking device further includes a pull tab formed by the first member and the second member. The pull tab extends away from the top surface of the base. The bottom surface includes an adhesive. The bottom surface is configured for removable attachment to the masking area.
Electrical Cover
The electrical cover comprises a friction-held electrical cover for a recessed light fixture. Embodiments of the electrical cover described herein provide flexible finish material covers that guard recessed can light fixtures from paint, spackling, and other foreign materials. The frictionally-held finish material covers utilize specifically shaped features on the surfaces, such as negative draft, that contact the electrical components to increase the hold on the electrical device. Some of the shaped features of the frictionally-held covers also help minimize stress in the cover. Features are also molded into the parts to assist and strengthen the cover once installed, and thus protect against the intrusion of finish material behind the cover.
ELECTRICAL COVER
The electrical cover comprises a press-fit or other type of fastener held electrical cover. Embodiments of the electrical cover described herein provide flexible finish material covers that guard light switches from paint, spackling, and other foreign materials. The covers utilize specifically shaped features on the surfaces that help minimize stress in the cover. The fasteners used to hold the light electrical covers are specifically designed to accommodate variations in manufacturers threaded hole positions and diameter tolerances. The electrical covers are shaped with an arched rear surface that assists in minimizing edge warping when the electrical cover is positioned against the wall surface. Features are also molded into the parts to assist and strengthen the cover flatness once installed, and thus protect against the intrusion of finish material behind the cover.
Hand-tearable masking tape with silicone-containing low adhesion backsize
A hand-tearable masking tape, comprising a plastic backing with a low adhesion backsize on the first major side of the backing and a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the second major side of the backing; wherein the second major side of the backing comprises a microstructured hand-tear pattern and wherein the low adhesion backsize comprises the reaction product of a mercapto-functional silicone macromer.
METHOD FOR STRETCHING VAPOR DEPOSITION MASK, METHOD FOR PRODUCING FRAME-EQUIPPED VAPOR DEPOSITION MASK, METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANIC SEMICONDUCTOR ELEMENT, AND STRETCHING APPARATUS
In a method for stretching a vapor deposition mask including a metal mask in which a slit is formed and a resin mask in which an opening corresponding to a pattern to be produced by vapor deposition is formed at a position overlapping with the slit, a stretching assistance member is overlapped on one surface of the vapor deposition mask, the stretching assistance member is fixed to the vapor deposition mask in at least part of a portion in which the one surface of the vapor deposition mask and the stretching assistance member overlap with each other, and the vapor deposition mask fixed to the stretching assistance member is stretched by pulling the stretching assistance member fixed to the vapor deposition mask.
