Masking plug assmebly
A masking plug assembly includes a lower anvil and an elongate member coupled to a central portion of the lower anvil, where the elongate member includes at least one coupling part. The assembly also includes an upper anvil having a central opening for receiving the elongate member therethrough, where the upper anvil includes at least one complementary coupling part configured to be releasably coupled with the at least one coupling part of the elongate member. The assembly also includes a deformable plug with a central opening for receiving the elongate member therethrough, where the deformable plug is configured to be positioned within the hole of the structure between the lower anvil and the upper anvil, and where the deformable plug is composed of a resilient material such that at least a portion of the deformable plug expands horizontally when compressed vertically between the lower anvil and the upper anvil.

Stacking device for stacking paint and assembly plugs
A stacking device is provided for stacking plugs, in particular paint or installation plugs for motor vehicles, having a housing which has an opening, at at least one axial end, on a front side and in which extend in the axial direction, on an inner wall of the housing, at least two retaining and guide devices for the plugs. The retaining and guiding devices are designed to keep the plugs stacked in position, to allow axial movement of the plugs, and to guide the plugs in the axial direction.
Apparatus and system for cleaning paint masking devices
A paint removal apparatus for cleaning paint from masking devices includes a support base having a plurality of engagement features that are each configured to securely engage at least one paint masking device. A spray nozzle is aimed in a fixed direction toward the support base and configured for spraying a pressurized stream of water at a desired velocity that removes paint from an exterior surface of at least one of the masking devices engaged at the support base. The support base is configured to successively move the masking devices engaged at the engagement features into the pressurized stream of water, such as to provide a generally continuous cleaning operation of masking devices. During movement or rotation of the support base, an exposed portion of the support base may extend from a spray enclosure for removing cleaned plugs from and loading painted plugs onto such an exposed portion.
PROTECTING HOLE IN COMPONENT DURING COATING PROCESS USING PLUG WITH WATER SOLUBLE LAYER
A method of protecting a hole in a component during a coating process is disclosed. The method includes: placing a plug in the hole, the plug including a water insoluble core and a water soluble layer surrounding at least a portion of an outer surface of the metal core. A coating is applied over the plug and at least a portion of the component. The component is immersed in water to dissolve the water soluble layer, allowing removal of the water insoluble core. Removal of the coating from over the hole and the water insoluble core from within the hole may follow.
WHEEL BOLT HOLE PROTECTION PLUG PLACING DEVICE
The present application provides a wheel bolt hole protection plug placing device, which includes a frame, a lifting cylinder, guiding shafts, high precision linear bearings, a flange, a connecting shaft, a roller way, a bracket, a first base, a first bearing, a first sleeve, a rotating cylinder with braking function, an end cap, a second base, a second bearing, a second sleeve, a shaft, first linear bearings, contactors, springs, a synchronous cam, a gland, a visual sensor, a mounting frame, a first linear guiding rail, a first guiding rail sliding seat, a first screw nut, a first screw, a first servo motor and so on.
Electrical cover with concentric removable annular rings
The electrical cover comprises a friction-held electrical cover for a recessed light fixture. Embodiments of the electrical cover described herein provide flexible finish material covers that guard recessed can light fixtures from paint, spackling, and other foreign materials. The frictionally-held finish material covers utilize specifically shaped features on the surfaces, such as negative draft, that contact the electrical components to increase the hold on the electrical device. Some of the shaped features of the frictionally-held covers also help minimize stress in the cover. Features are also molded into the parts to assist and strengthen the cover once installed, and thus protect against the intrusion of finish material behind the cover.
