Microstructured tape comprising coextensive, intersecting paint-retention and hand-tear patterns
Tape backings with a first major side and an oppositely-facing second major side, wherein the first major side includes coextensive, intersecting microstructured paint-retention and hand-tear patterns; and, tapes including such backings, and methods of making and using such tapes and tape backings.
Universal Alignment Adapter
In a shadow mask tensioning method and apparatus, a shadow mask supported by a support frame is positioned between a shadow mask frame and a set of actuators with a portion of the shadow mask extending across a gap between the support frame and the shadow mask frame. Under the control of a programmed controller, the set of actuators is caused to simultaneously displace numerous, spaced locations of the portion of the shadow mask into the gap to align alignment apertures of the shadow mask to predetermined positons in fields of view of cameras positioned to observe the alignment apertures. The shadow mask is then affixed to the shadow mask frame.
Mask assembly and method of fabricating the same
Provided are a mask assembly and a method of fabricating the same. The mask assembly includes a mask frame in which a frame opening is formed therein and insulation grooves are formed at both sides of a first direction with the frame opening therebetween. The mask has both ends disposed at the both sides and includes a plurality of pattern open parts configured by a plurality of pattern openings between the both ends. A movement member is provided in the insulation groove, to which the both ends of the mask are fixed, and which includes a movement block moving in the first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction.
SELECTIVE WALL SEALING SYSTEM
A selective wall sealing system disclosed herein comprises a wall and a sealing member. The wall comprises one or more portions for utility elements, and the sealing member is configured to seal and secure the portions of utility elements from external contact when the maintenance activity is performed on the wall. In an embodiment, an adhesive is applied along the contour of the portion of the utility element, and the section of the sealing member outside the contour is cut away to allow a user to perform maintenance activity on the rest of the wall. In an embodiment, the sealing member is peeled off after the maintenance activity is performed on the wall. In an embodiment, the utility element is an electrical utility. In an embodiment, the sealing member is a sheet member. In an embodiment, the sealing member is made of paper, plastic, cardboard or posterboard.
Protective Painting Shield for Circular Fixture Junctions
A protective collar for temporarily protecting an item from paint on a surface that is being painted. The protective collar is formed as a band having a convex surface and a concave surface. The band has a uniform thickness between the convex surface and the concave surface in the primary areas that are not tapered. The band embodies a spring bias that biases the band into a circular configuration. The first end and the second end of the band are tapered. Additionally, the band is tapered along its length adjacent a first long edge. This causes the first long edge to be thinner than the opposite second long edge. The tapered regions minimize the footprint of the spring collar on a surface.
Shadow mask tensioning method and apparatus
In a system and method of shadow mask tensioning, an object having second set of alignment features is positioned on a side of shadow mask having a first set of alignment features such that the object and the shadow mask can move independently of each other and the first and second sets of alignment features are not in final alignment. Tension is then applied to the shadow mask to bring the first set of alignment features into final alignment with the second set of alignment features. The alignment features of the shadow mask can include at least one deposition aperture of the shadow mask.
Seal coat masking shield and related methods
A masking shield for shielding a surface during a traffic surface treatment process during which a mechanical sprayer having a spray wand is used to spray a protective sealant on the traffic surface, the masking shield having a frame with a generally rectangular shape and having a first side and a second side. The masking shield further having a thin, flexible liner in the form of a sleeve, the sleeve configured to completely receive the frame, and a runner removably coupled to a bottom edge of the frame.
