ZERO MASK FIXTURES FOR PARTS
Systems and methods are provided for securement of parts. One embodiment is a method for securing a part during fabrication. The method includes forming an interference fit between a pin and a wall defining a hole, supporting a weight of the part with the interference fit, and rotating the part around an axis of the part while the weight of the part is supported.
Pitch-yaw actuation system and method for actuating a device head
A pitch-yaw actuation system includes a pitch frame, a yaw frame, a pitch actuator, a yaw actuator, and a universal joint assembly. The pitch frame is pivotably coupled to a device frame via a pitch hinge. The yaw frame is pivotably coupled to the pitch frame via a yaw hinge. The pitch actuator pivots the pitch frame about a pitch axis. The yaw actuator pivots the yaw frame about a yaw axis oriented orthogonal to the pitch axis. The universal joint assembly couples the yaw actuator to the yaw frame, and includes a universal joint slidably coupled to a linear guide mechanism. The guide mechanism axis is oriented at an angle that allows the universal joint to move in a manner accommodating misalignment of the yaw actuator with the yaw frame during pivoting of at least one of the pitch frame and the yaw frame.
ANNULAR NOZZLE
A cleaning apparatus for pharmaceutical containers, comprising means for feeding containers into and means for discharging containers from the cleaning apparatus, a transport apparatus for transporting containers within the cleaning apparatus, at least one holder for holding containers during a cleaning process, and one or more cleaning stations. Each holder holds a container such that a longitudinal axis of the container extends substantially in a vertical direction. Each cleaning station comprises at least one substantially cylindrically formed annular nozzle configured to completely surround a container during the cleaning process. Each cleaning station is provided on its inner side with a first row of outlet openings disposed circumferentially in a first vertical position, and is configured to discharge a cleaning medium substantially identically inwardly and downwardly at an angle to a horizontal axis and at an angle to a radial direction to form a cyclone of cleaning medium.
Method and apparatus for coating balloon catheters
A coating apparatus for coating the balloon portion of a balloon catheter is described. The coating apparatus includes a rotatable member in which the catheter portion of the balloon catheter is mounted and fixed, and which causes rotation of the balloon catheter. The apparatus also includes a support member in which the distal tip of the catheter is inserted and free to rotate; and a spray nozzle directing sprayed material on the balloon surface. The inventive configuration of the coating apparatus allows the balloon catheter to be rotated along its axis with insubstantial or no wobble, which significantly improves the quality of the coating applied to the surface of the balloon.
APPLICATOR MACHINE
An applicator machine and a process for heating and coating a section of pipeline. The applicator machine includes a frame configured to rotate about a section of pipeline to be heated and coated, rotating means operable to rotate the frame, and coating material applicators induction coils and radiant heaters mounted on the frame and rotatable therewith. The induction coil is configured to heat a section of pipeline adjacent to the induction coil to a coating material application temperature. The radiant heaters are configured to heat factory-applied coatings. Each coating material applicator sprays coating material through an aperture in a respective induction coil. The applicator includes an enclosure configured to surround a section of pipeline and provision for evacuating and collecting waste coating material. The coating material applicator may be configured to spray powder coating material, such as fusion bonded epoxy powder material and/or chemically modified polypropylene powder material.
SYSTEM FOR COATING HEAT TRANSFER TUBE FOR CONDENSER
A system for coating a heat transfer tube for a condenser is disclosed. The system simplifies a process of coating the heat transfer tube, and is able to uniformly coat a plurality of heat transfer tubes. In addition, the system is economically feasible in that coating solution can be reused by collecting and circulating it. Due to super-hydrophobic coating, the size of a droplet condensed on the surfaces of the heat transfer tubes coated by the system can be reduced, and a condensation heat transfer coefficient can be increased.

Pipe Conditioning Tool
A pipe conditioning tool comprising a drive unit to move the tool along a pipe and a work head rotatable about an axis of the pipe to condition a surface of the pipe, the drive unit includes a frame extending to opposite sides of the pipe, the frame having legs extending radially beyond the work head to provide support for the tool upon removal from said pipe.
METHOD FOR LACQUERING PENCILS, AND LACQUERING APPARATUS
In a method for lacquering pencils by the push-through method, a respective pencil is guided through a lacquering chamber in order to apply a lacquer coat. After exiting the lacquering chamber, successive pencils butt against one another and are held against one another at their end sides such at a plurality of pencils form a stable strand which is guided, subsequent to the lacquering chamber, through a drying section, with the result that a respective pencil is held in a hovering manner on leaving the lacquering chamber. It is hereby in particular also made possible to use UV-curing lacquers, with the overall result that a very short total lacquering time for lacquering pencils, in particular cosmetic pencils, is achieved.
Wire arc spray swivel head
Device for spray coating embraces a wire arc spray head that includes arc-making contact points and a carrier gas outlet, which is configured to swivel with feed wire in a pivoting motion. The device can be operated to spray coat a work piece.
