SYSTEM FOR MAINTAINING CONDUITS AND PIPES IN A PIPELINE SYSTEM
A system for maintaining conduits and pipes after their installation into a pipeline system used to transport material in a fluid or flowable form. The system includes a maintenance tool adopted for use inside the pipe, an umbilical attached to the maintenance tool for pulling the tool through the pipe; and a pluralities of bearings positioned around the umbilical in order to allow the tool to be pulled through the pipe around bends and turns in the pipe.
Integrated automation of paint processes incorporating arrayed painting and inkjet printing
Surface treatment of a tubular surface defining an axis extending from a first surface end to a second surface end includes partially surrounding the tubular surface, at a first position, with a first set of treating units, with the treating units arranged in a first arcuate array. Furthermore, each treating unit is configured to include a plurality of first applicator heads. In some examples, a position of each of the plurality of first applicator heads is determined relative to the tubular surface. The first set of treating units is moved from the first position towards a second position. In one non-limiting example, each of the plurality of first applicator heads is independently controlled to selectively apply a first treatment as the first set of treating units moves from the first position towards the second position.
PIPELINE SPRAYER AND METHOD
Provided is an apparatus for coating a girth weld and a cutback region surrounding said girth weld, said apparatus having lateral travel at least equal to the length of the cutback region and circumferential rotational travel around the pipe. The apparatus can provide a multiple component coating accurately and safely, without the need for solvent flushing of the apparatus.
Pipe Conditioning Tool
A pipe conditioning tool comprising a drive unit to move the tool along a pipe and a work head rotatable about an axis of the pipe to condition a surface of the pipe, the drive unit includes a frame extending to opposite sides of the pipe, the frame having legs extending radially beyond the work head to provide support for the tool upon removal from said pipe.
Device and method for applying adhesive to cores by a dispensing means while the cores move along a feed direction, the cores used to produce a log
A device (1) applies adhesive to cores which are used to produce a log includes a moving means (3) configured to cause at least one core (5) to advance along a feed direction (A) and a dispensing means (7) configured for dispensing an amount of adhesive (9) on the core (5). The dispensing means (7) are moveable along an application direction (B) substantially orthogonal to the feed direction (A) and are configured to selectively dispense an amount of adhesive (9) along portions (11) of the core (5) during movement along the application direction (B).
Tube spray gun
An Tube Spray Gun for coating an elongated member comprising a handle, a flow trigger, at least one positioner engaging the member and adapted to maintain a spray tip in a desired position relative to the member, a mounting means for releasably engaging the spray tip assembly around the member, a coating supply fluidly connected to the spray tip and a flow activated by the trigger and a spray tip assembly calibrated to provide complete radial coverage of the member, whereby an user engages the positioner placing the apparatus around the member and activates the flow trigger while moving the apparatus along the member to coat the entire radial surface of the member with a single pass.
Adjustable cantilevered paint actuation system
A surface treatment assembly for treating a contoured surface includes a surface treatment array formed from a plurality of base structures, each base structure operably coupled to a first phalange structure and a first phalange structure first end. A second phalange structure operatively coupled to each first phalange structure and a phalange joint disposed between each first phalange structure and each second phalange, thereby forming a finger structure. Moreover, at least one applicator head is coupled to a second phalange structure second end of each finger structure and configured to treat the contoured surface. A base structure actuator and a phalange joint actuator operatively coupled to and configured to manipulate the first phalange structure and the second phalange of each finger structure to adjust the surface treatment array relative to the contoured surface.
Variable cross-section compliance mechanism
A surface treatment support structure assembly for treating a contoured surface includes a support structure array formed from a plurality of base structures, each base structure being operably coupled with respect to one another and configured to slide along a longitudinal axis and rotate about a laterally translating axis which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The support structure array further includes at least one applicator head coupled to each base structure of the support structure array, each of the at least one applicator head being configured to treat the contoured surface. Additionally, a base structure actuator is operatively coupled to and configured to manipulate each base structure along the longitudinal axis and the laterally translating axis such that the support structure array is adjusted relative to the contoured surface.
System for coating heat transfer tube for condenser
A system for coating a heat transfer tube for a condenser is disclosed. The system simplifies a process of coating the heat transfer tube, and is able to uniformly coat a plurality of heat transfer tubes. In addition, the system is economically feasible in that coating solution can be reused by collecting and circulating it. Due to super-hydrophobic coating, the size of a droplet condensed on the surfaces of the heat transfer tubes coated by the system can be reduced, and a condensation heat transfer coefficient can be increased.
