A System for Applying a Masking Material to a Substrate
Systems for applying a masking material to a substrate, the system comprising: a source feed for delivering a quantity of masking material to a substrate, a waste deposit for receiving masking material when removed from the substrate, a spray nozzle moveable relative to the substrate and a controller for controlling movement of the nozzle relative to the substrate and the speed of delivery of the masking material from the source feed, wherein the speed of movement of the spray nozzle relative to the substrate is substantially equal to the speed of delivery of the masking material from the source feed.
Device and method for applying adhesive to cores by a dispensing means while the cores move along a feed direction, the cores used to produce a log
A device (1) applies adhesive to cores which are used to produce a log includes a moving means (3) configured to cause at least one core (5) to advance along a feed direction (A) and a dispensing means (7) configured for dispensing an amount of adhesive (9) on the core (5). The dispensing means (7) are moveable along an application direction (B) substantially orthogonal to the feed direction (A) and are configured to selectively dispense an amount of adhesive (9) along portions (11) of the core (5) during movement along the application direction (B).
Coating device with fluid-conducting rotary feed through for compressed air to spray heads
A coating device for applying a coating agent to the surface of a workpiece. The coating device includes a frame with a workpiece receptacle, a coating agent source and a rotary unit which is rotatable in relation to the frame. The rotary unit has a pump and a plurality of spray units, with the pump on the suction side being connected to the coating agent source by a fluid-conducting rotary joint connection. The rotary unit has a pneumatic valve device, and the spray units have in each case one compressed air controlled valve for controlling the delivery of coating agent. The inlet side of the valve is connected to the compressed air source by a fluid-conducting rotary feedthrough, which simplifies the overall construction of the coating device by providing a pneumatic connection between the compressed air source and the rotary unit that is independent of the rotation angle.
Automated paint spray system
A spray system and method for selectively applying fluids onto workpieces traveling on a conveyor. A support frame proximate the conveyor supports plural platforms sequentially arranged in the direction of workpiece travel on the conveyor, each platform being above and extending across the conveyor width. Plural carriers are sequentially disposed on each platform across the conveyor width. Each carrier has a nozzle module connected to a source of fluid, a lateral drive enabling bi-directional movement of the carrier across the respective platform and a swing drive for rotating the nozzle module about a swing axis orthogonal to the direction of workpiece travel. A programmable controller coordinates the lateral and rotational orientation of nozzle modules of each carrier and the flow of fluid through the respective nozzle modules to achieve a desired pattern of fluid application onto workpieces traveling on the conveyor.
POWDER COATING PLANT FOR COATING A WORKPIECE WITH COATING POWDER
A powder coating plant for coating a workpiece with coating powder includes a booth, which receives the workpiece delivered via a floor conveyor. In addition, the powder coating plant has an upper spray applicator arrangement for spraying coating powder downward, and a lower spray applicator arrangement for spraying coating powder upward. The upper and the lower spray applicator arrangement are thereby oriented toward the same workpiece. In addition, a manipulator is provided, to which the upper and the lower spray applicator arrangement is fastened. The manipulator is formed such that the spray applicator arrangements can be moved at least in the transport direction of the workpiece by the manipulator.
MOLDED CONCRETE BLOCK HAVING VISUALLY ENHANCED CONTRASTING SURFACE SECTIONS; METHODS, AND USE
According to the present disclosure, methods and techniques for generating preferred concrete block products are provided. The methods and techniques involve providing addition of color to selected section within the blocks (1), as described herein, to generate enhancement effects. Typical applications involve spray applications for color pigment to visually distinct sections of the block (1) on one or more decorative surfaces.
MULTIPLE FOURTH AXIS ROBOT
An end effector is provided that includes a first valve operably connected to a first motor housing, the first valve being moveable along at least four axes, a second valve operably connected to a second motor housing, the second valve being moveable along at least four axes, and a proximity adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a horizontal distance between the first valve and the second valve. An associated conformal coating machine and method are also provided.
MULTI-ANGLE CARCASS WASH SYSTEMS, WASH CABINETS INCLUDING SAME, AND RELATED METHODS
A multi-angle wash system for cleaning carcass, wherein the wash system comprises a multi-angle fluid distribution unit; a rotating unit; a spray unit fluidly and operably coupled to the multi-angle fluid distribution unit; and a guiding unit operably coupled to the spray unit or the multi-angle fluid distribution unit. The multi-angle fluid distribution unit comprises a connecting element that is configured to operably couple with the spray unit such that the spray unit oscillates in correspondence to the rotation of the rotating unit. The spray unit comprises a guiding element and nozzle sprays. The guiding unit comprises a co-guiding element that has a reciprocate structure to the guiding element of the spray unit such that the guiding unit facilitates the oscillation of the spray unit in correspondence to the rotation of the rotating unit.
Treatment device for workpieces, comprising an electric treatment unit
The invention relates to a treatment device for workpieces, having the following: a treatment chamber (1); a shaft (2) which extends through a wall of the treatment chamber (1) into the treatment chamber and which is mounted in a rotatable manner; an electric treatment unit (3) which is secured to the shaft (2); and a power supply arrangement (6) with a first supply line (61), an electric coupling (63, 64), a second supply line (62), and an actuating unit (7). The electric coupling (63, 64) has a first coupling element (63), which is secured to the shaft (2) outside of the treatment chamber (1), and a second coupling element (64). The first supply line (61) connects the electric treatment unit (3) to the first coupling element (63), and the second supply line (62) is connected to the second coupling element (64). The actuating unit (7) is designed to actuate the coupling (63, 64) in order to bring the second coupling element (64) into contact with the first coupling element (63) or release the second coupling element (64) from the first coupling element (63).
