FLASH NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
20220362789 · 2022-11-17 · ·

A nozzle assembly includes a nozzle, a manifold, and wand body. The nozzle, manifold, and wand body can be coupled together to provide a robust spray drying system that can withstand elevated temperature and/or pressure feed stock. In some embodiments, an internal shoulder portion of the manifold can engage with a side of a nozzle collar to restrict distal movement of the nozzle relative to the manifold.

COATING DEVICE AND CORRESPONDING COATING PROCESS

The disclosure concerns a coating device and a corresponding coating process for coating components, in particular motor vehicle body components, with a coating agent (e.g. paint), with a coating robot with a first printhead which is mounted on the coating robot. The disclosure provides that the first printhead is exchangeably mounted on the coating robot and can be exchanged for a second printhead during a color change. Another variant of the disclosure, on the other hand, provides for a second printhead to be mounted on the coating robot in addition to the first printhead, the two printheads each applying a specific coating agent in order to enable a color change without changing the printhead.

The present application relates to a cartridge paint refilling device. More specifically the subject matter of the application relates to cleaning the paint adhered to the feed tube of the cartridge and prevent reduction of the painting quality and undesirable rotation caused by the paint residue. An annular flow path extending from a base end side towards a front end side in the insertion direction is disposed between the feed tube of the cartridge and the feed tube insertion hole of the cartridge supporting member. The cartridge supporting member is provided with a feed tube cleaning pipeline whose upstream side is connected with the circulation pipeline disposed at the cartridge supporting member and whose downstream side becomes a cleaning fluid discharge port and pens at the base end side of the annular flow path; and a pipeline witching valve which blocks communication between the circulation pipeline and the feed tube cleaning pipeline when the paint and the cleaning fluid are supplied to the paint chamber of the cartridge, and enables communication between the circulation pipeline and the feed tube cleaning pipeline when the cleaning fluid is supplied to the annular flow path.

Nozzle deposit removing device and method of nozzle deposit removal
11478810 · 2022-10-25 · ·

In a nozzle deposit removing device and a method of nozzle deposit removal, compressed air is supplied to an air supply hole of a negative pressure generating unit from an air supply source, and compressed air is released to outside via an other end of a release hole from the air supply hole, thereby generating a flow of negative pressure directed from a tapered section of a nozzle insertion member toward the release hole via a through-hole. Next, a tip section of the nozzle is inserted into the tapered section of the nozzle insertion member, thereby forming a gap between the tapered section communicating with the through-hole and the tip section of the nozzle.
