A sprinkler enclosure device includes a baseplate having a generally hollow cup extending upward therefrom in a perpendicular manner. The cup includes an inside diameter that is suitable for receiving a sprinkler body, and a height that is suitable for receiving at least a portion of the sprinkler body. Each of the baseplate and the cup include centrally located apertures that are aligned linearly. Each of the aligned apertures include dimensions suitable for receiving an irrigation fitting for connecting the sprinkler body positioned within the cup to an irrigation water supply line. A sealing ring is removably positioned along the top end of the cup and includes a central opening having a diameter that is complementary to the outside diameter of the received sprinkler body. The sealing ring preventing dirt from entering the interior space of the cup.

A cradle type structure is used to protect a cylindrical spray nozzle device from being crushed when both are buried in a trench in the ground. The cradle can be a three sided sheet of stainless steel that is open at the top. Brackets can connect the sides together for enhanced resistance to deformation. The top of the structure has a stainless steel lid that is hinged to the top of one of the sides. The lid protects the spray nozzle, but when the nozzle is spraying, the force of the water will push the lid up and out of the way of the spray.

Sprinkler assembly having coiled weight

A weighted inverted sprinkler assembly adapted for use with a drop hose of an irrigation system is disclosed. The assembly comprises a coiled weight formed from a coiled wire, a sprinkler fluidly associated with the drop hose, and a coiled weight support structure. A pressure regulator may be provided in fluid associated with the irrigation drop hose and the sprinkler. The coiled weight has a shape that is selected for use with a particular sprinkler assembly. The shape may be an elongated shape for use with an elongated coiled weight support structure, a beehive shape for use with a pressure regulator having a collar to support the coiled weight, and a pear shape for use with a pressure regulator having a flared housing. The coiled weight is preferably formed from a single coiled wire although two or more weights may be used in combination in a given application.

An exterior fire suppressing system includes a flagpole that has a bottom end and an upper end. The flagpole has a height above a ground surface that is greater than 10.0 feet when the bottom end of the flagpole is anchored in the ground surface. A halyard is mounted on the flagpole and engages a flag to raise and lower the flag on the pole. The flagpole has a conduit therein for transporting a fluid. The conduit has an inlet positioned adjacent to the bottom end and an outlet adjacent to the upper end. A water sprinkler is mounted on the flagpole and is fluidly coupled to the outlet. The water sprinkler is rotatable and disperses water in an arcuate pattern extending outwardly from the flagpole wherein the flagpole defines an axis of the arcuate pattern of dispersed water. A hose connector is fluidly mounted to the inlet.
