Aspects of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for drying a region of a human body. The apparatus include a toilet seat assembly, and a drying nozzle assembly having one or more drying nozzle units with one ore more retractable elements adapted to deliver air at a predetermined temperature to the region of the human body, and a fan connected to the one or more drying units. In one aspect, the drying nozzle assembly also includes a first driving motor being connected to the one or more drying nozzle units and adapted for moving the one ore more retractable elements in retracting-and-extending motion, and a second driving motor being connected to the one or more drying nozzle unit and adapted for moving the one or more drying nozzle units in three-dimensional circular rotational motion.

Described herein is a bounce-reducing cover assembly that is positioned on the top of the cover and riser of a sprinkler to achieve a similar golf ball bounce characteristic as typical golf course turf. The cover assembly has a top surface that is composed of a plurality of vertical fingers or posts, which help achieve the desired bounce characteristics with a golf ball. Specifically, these fingers are flexible and provide some “give” so as to absorb some of the force from an incoming golf ball. Depending on the durometer of the material, size of the fingers, and spacing of the fingers, different bounce characteristics can be achieved.

A connector assembly may include an elastomeric connector comprising an approximately perpendicular flange at a distal end thereof and an opening therethrough; and a rigid compression fitting having an opening aligned with the opening of the elastomeric connector. The connector assembly may be used with a converter hose. Related methods include attaching the converter hose to a shower head, faucet or spigot.

An apparatus to provide scent or other substances (e.g., active agent) includes a thin profile delivery apparatus that includes an actuator (e.g., nebulizer) and drive circuit to generate a spray, aerosol or vapor. The apparatus may have a slot to removably a media cartridge that carries the scent or other substances. The apparatus may include two contacts (e.g., buttons), opposed to one another across a dimension of the apparatus. Activation may require both engagement of both contacts, for instance concurrently, or even successive engagement of both contacts, in quick succession. Activation may further require a correct orientation of the apparatus. The apparatus may have a form factor similar to a conventional credit or debit card, and may be pliable or pliably resilient. The delivery apparatus can be used in entertainment (e.g., food or cooking programming), and in healthcare (e.g., control of metabolism).

A spray gun having a gun body is provided. A duct extends in the gun body between an inlet mouth and a main outlet mouth. The gun body has a handle, the inlet mouth located in the handle, extending along a handle axis; a barrel, the main outlet mouth formed in the barrel, extending along a barrel axis; and an adjustment element extending onto the barrel around and parallel to the barrel axis. The adjustment element has a central cavity accommodating the barrel and a secondary outlet mouth. The adjustment element is axially movable between a retracted position and a forward position, in which the adjustment element is advanced axially cantilevered on the barrel, with the secondary outlet mouth axially distal to the main outlet mouth, defining, within the central cavity, an adjustment chamber filled with water exiting the main outlet mouth to flow through the secondary outlet mouth.

A spray gun having a gun body is provided. A duct extends in the gun body between an inlet mouth and a main outlet mouth. The gun body has a handle, the inlet mouth located in the handle, extending along a handle axis; a barrel, the main outlet mouth formed in the barrel, extending along a barrel axis; and an adjustment element extending onto the barrel around and parallel to the barrel axis. The adjustment element has a central cavity accommodating the barrel and a secondary outlet mouth. A sprinkler riser extension kit elevates a pop-up sprinkler that has a riser and a head detachable from the riser. The kit includes a gripping head having a channel extending therethrough, and a riser extension configured to slide within the channel and having a length corresponding to the length of the channel. The lower end of the gripping head is configured for attachment to the sprinkler, e.g., by a plurality of flexible pawls spaced evenly about the lower end, or alternatively to an upper portion of an identical gripping head. The riser extension includes means for attachment between the sprinkler head and the sprinkler riser. To elevate the sprinkler, the head is detached, the riser passed through the gripping head, the riser extension attached to the riser, the head attached to the riser extension, and the gripping head attached to the top of the sprinkler. Gripping heads and riser extensions are stackable atop one another, to enable elevation of the sprinkler head in multiple stages.

A pump for dispensing a fluid, has a pump head, a piston with a piston body, a pump chamber provided by a pump chamber part, an inlet valve and an outlet valve. The piston body is moveable relative to the pump chamber. The piston body is tube-like, providing a channel for delivering the fluid from the pump chamber via the outlet valve to an outlet opening in the pump head. The outlet valve is a valve body cooperating with a sealing rim formed by an opening in an outlet channel of the pump head. The piston body has a sealing lip for with an inner surface of the pump chamber body. The pump head is moveable relative to the piston body providing an opening stroke for the outlet valve, wherein the valve body moves axially in the opposite direction into a part of the outlet channel above the valve body.
