Surface acoustic wave electronic cigarette system
A surface acoustic wave electronic cigarette system includes a piezoelectric substrate, a liquid guiding cavity, an atomization cavity, and a power feeder port. The liquid guiding cavity and the atomization cavity are provided on an upper surface of the piezoelectric substrate. An isolation board is provided between the liquid guiding cavity and the atomization cavity. The power feeder port is provided on an outer side surface of the piezoelectric substrate. The surface acoustic wave electronic cigarette of the present disclosure generates an aerosol with a smaller particle diameter by atomization, which has a comfortable smoking experience and a pure and subtle fragrance.
SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE ATOMIZER FOR AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE
The present disclosure provides an aerosol delivery device and a liquid delivery and atomization assembly for use with an aerosol delivery device. In one implementation, the liquid delivery and atomization assembly may comprise a liquid composition, an atomization assembly, and a liquid transport element configured to transport at least a portion of the liquid composition to the atomization assembly. The atomization assembly may comprise a piezoelectric component that includes an interdigital transducer configured to generate surface acoustic waves that vaporize the portion of the liquid composition to generate an aerosol. The liquid transport element may comprise one or more of a fibrous material that includes fibers having a multi-lobal cross-section, a perforated disk, or a combination thereof. The perforated disk may include a plurality of openings and a plurality of microchannels that extend from a periphery of the disk to the plurality of openings.
Systems And Methods For Providing Steam To A Cooking Chamber Using A Piezo-Electric Atomizer And A Water Heater
A device for cooking food may include a steam-generating chamber, which may provide steam to a cooking chamber at a regulated steam temperature, that may comprise a liquid-heating element and an atomizer. The liquid-heating element may heat a liquid to a regulated liquid temperature, which may be less than a boiling temperature of the liquid. The regulated steam temperature may be based on the regulated liquid temperature. The cooking chamber may include an air-heating element, which may heat the air within the cooking chamber. The air-heating element may be heated to a regulated heater temperature less than the boiling temperature of the liquid. The cooking chamber may receive the steam, and maintain the air within the cooking chamber at a regulated air temperature based on the regulated heater temperature of the air-heating element and the regulated steam temperature of the steam.
Diffuser
A liquid diffuser includes a base, a liquid reservoir, a spout for resting on the reservoir and having an upper opening, a fan, a polymeric gasket encircling the liquid reservoir, and a cover. The gasket includes a flange extending over a portion of an upper surface of the base that extends laterally beyond the liquid reservoir. The cover is sized and configured to be positioned over and around the liquid reservoir and the spout, and to rest upon the flange of the gasket. Methods of assembling such a liquid diffuser include resting the spout upon the liquid reservoir, and resting the spout upon the flange of the gasket over the base. Method of using such a liquid diffuser include powering a transducer for generating atomized droplets of the liquid, and supplying power to the fan to carry the atomized droplets of the liquid out from the diffuser with forced airflow.
Linear droplet generating device
A nozzle plate (201) for use in a liquid droplet production apparatus and such apparatus, the nozzle plate comprising a flexible substrate having a linear array of nozzles that extend through said plate, said nozzles being arranged in at least one line, forming thereby a nozzle-bearing region, wherein the substrate is curved so as to impart an increased longitudinal stiffness to it. The apparatus comprises a piezo actuator (202, 203), which may have slots (211) separating fingers acting on the nozzle plate (201). The nozzle plate may be separable form the actuator.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISINFECTION
A process and apparatus for disinfection of spaces using a disinfecting liquid droplet spray atomization are described, in which an electric fan 107 is used to dispense the atomization from an atomization chamber 104 via venture outlets 106 into the space to be disinfected. The operation of the electric fan 107 is modulated in a cycle having a first phase in which the fan is operated at full speed and a second phase at which the fan is operated at a randomly selected speed to vary the rate of dispensing into the space in order to improve the dispersal of the atomized droplets in the space and hence the efficacy of disinfection.
Fixed-amount pressurized atomization device
A liquid introducing device transfers a fixed amount of liquid medicine into atomized particles. The liquid medicine is connected to the liquid introducing device which allows the users to quickly replace the bottles and avoid cross infection between different medicines. The liquid introducing device is powered by electric power to atomize the liquid quickly. The liquid introducing device includes a chamber which cooperated with an electro-magnetic valve switch which controls a fixed amount of air in the chamber such that the fixed amount of the air can be pressurized and output stably. The pressurized air passes through the tube without delay and loss.
INHALER
An inhaler includes a first liquid storage unit; a second liquid storage unit; an atomizing unit which includes a piezoelectric element substrate having an IDT constructed by use of a pair of interlocking comb-shaped metallic electrodes and is constructed to atomize liquid by a surface acoustic wave generated by applying a high-frequency voltage to the pair of interlocking comb-shaped metallic electrodes; and a mouthpiece for guiding aerosol which is generated by atomizing the liquid in the atomizing unit. The atomizing unit is constructed to atomize first liquid supplied from the first liquid storage unit and second liquid supplied from the second liquid storage unit, respectively.

The invention relates to an apparatus for metering a medium comprising a base element provided for fastening to a robot, a metering valve movably supported at the base element, and at least one piezo actuator by which the metering valve is movable relative to the base element.
Microfluidic cartridge
A microfluidic cartridge is provided. The microfluidic cartridge includes a reservoir for containing a fluid composition, a first face, and a second face joined with the first face. The electrical circuit has a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion of the electrical circuit is disposed on the first face and the second end portion of the electrical circuit is disposed on the second face. The first end portion includes electrical contacts and one or more circuit minor openings that are configured to mate with minor guideposts on the housing of a microfluidic delivery device. The microfluidic cartridge may include one or more major openings that are configured to mate with major guideposts on the housing. The microfluidic cartridge includes a microfluidic die disposed on the second face.
