Coating apparatus and image forming system
A coating apparatus includes a coating member, a pressing member, an abutment member, and a restriction member. The coating member coats a sheet with a coating agent. The pressing member is movable and abuts on the coating member to form a nip. The abutment member abuts on the coating member at a position different from a position of the nip. The restriction member restricts movement of the coating member in a separation direction in which the coating member separates from the abutment member.
Ultra large-width and consecutive coating device and method for manufacturing membrane using the same
Provided is an ultra large-width coating device applied to a consecutive process. More particularly, the present invention relates to a coating device capable of maximizing productivity by consecutively manufacturing a large-width film without reducing physical properties of the manufactured film by overcoming a problem in that a coating width is limited during a coating process using the existing contact type coating roller, and a method for manufacturing an ultra large-width membrane using the same.
HYBRID PAINT, DRYWALL COMPOUND, AND TEXTURE APPLICATOR SYSTEM
Portable hybrid system for application of any material of drywall compound material, paint material, and texture material by the hybrid system via any of a plurality of material expulsion outlet ports, comprising: a pressurizable hollow tank for carrying material, at least one air compressor for pressurizing the material from the tank, an optionally attachable paint roller subsystem, an optionally attachable paint sprayer subsystem, an optionally attachable drywall compound applicator subsystem, an optionally attachable texture applicator subsystem, and an optionally attachable edge-cutting porous paint pad subsystem, enabling a plurality of workers to apply a given material from a single tank of the material.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ONE TOUCH REGISTRATION OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL SCANS WITH AN AUGMENTED REALITY ENABLED MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICE
A system for using an augmented reality (AR) enabled mobile computing device for performing one-touch registration of three-dimensional (3D) scans of an environment is provided. The system includes one or more processors, a mobile computing device, and a 3D scanner being movable from a first position to a second position. The processors are responsive to executable instructions which cause the 3D scanner at the first and second positions to determine 3D coordinates of a first and second collection of points on object surfaces in the environment. In addition, the 3D scanner receives an estimated location of the mobile computing device from the mobile device in response to the 3D scanner being in contact with the mobile computing device at the first and second locations. A registration of the first collection of points and the second collection of points is based on the estimated locations of the mobile computing device.
DUAL PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET FOR INSTORE SIGNAGE
A tandem system of metering and donor rolls is used to apply two different adhesives to a fully adhesive backed multilayer sheet to produce variably distributed adhesives and properties. Each of the two adhesives is unique and is cured differently to create a layer of adhesive that has differing adhesive properties on the sheet. A clear adhesive is applied to a top portion of cards before they are cut from the sheet and has a higher tackiness than the adhesive applied to the rest of the cards on the sheet in order to reduce glue buildup on blades cutting the cards from the sheet.
Device and method for applying adhesive to a substrate
A device for applying adhesive to a substrate, having an application roller that is rotatable about an axis, an installation for dispensing adhesive to a circumferential area of the application roller, a dispensing region of the application roller for dispensing adhesive from the application roller, and having a doctor blade, wherein the dispensing region for adhesive in the rotation direction of the application roller is located behind the installation for dispensing the adhesive to the application roller and ahead of the doctor blade. In such a device it is provided that the application roller is rotatable about a vertical axis and the excess adhesive wiped by the doctor blade reaches a collection installation that is located below the doctor blade. In a method for applying adhesive to a substrate, excess adhesive that has not been applied to the substrate is disposed of.
PRINTING APPARATUS, LIQUID ABSORBING APPARATUS, AND PRINTING METHOD
A printing apparatus includes a transfer member that cyclically passes through a formation area of an ink image and a transfer area of the ink image, a print unit that forms the ink image on the transfer member, and a transfer unit that transfers the ink image from the transfer member to a print medium. A liquid absorption unit absorbs a liquid component from the ink image on the transfer member, before the transfer by the transfer unit, and includes a liquid absorbing member that absorbs the liquid component, a support unit that supports the liquid absorbing member to be movable cyclically, an applying unit that applies a moisturizing liquid, and a supply unit that supplies the moisturizing liquid to the applying unit. The printing apparatus also includes control unit that controls a supply amount of the moisturizing liquid supplied to the applying unit by the supply unit.
LIQUID HANDLING MEANS FOR PERFORMING ASSAYS USING PLATE-LIKE LIQUID CONTACTING MEANS WITH FORCE CONTROLLING ELEMENT
The present invention relates to an apparatus for conducting assays on samples and/or processing of samples. The apparatus comprises a rotatably arranged cylindrical sample holder for holding a sample at a lateral surface of the cylindrical sample holder. The cylindrical sample holder is configured to be at least partly covered by a liquid layer. The apparatus further comprises a liquid dispensing means configured to add liquid to the liquid layer, a reagent dispensing means configured to add a reagent to the liquid layer and a liquid contacting means configured to distribute liquid within said liquid layer. The liquid contacting means comprises a plate-like element flexibly assembled in relation to the cylindrical sample holder. The present invention also relates to a method for conducting assays on samples and/or processing of samples.
CHAIN-TYPE ROLLER COATING APPARATUS AND USE THEREOF
The present application provides a chain-type roller coating apparatus, including a liquid coating roller and a synchronizing wheel. The synchronizing wheel is provided with a mounting hole. A proximity switch is arranged on an outer side of the synchronizing wheel. The synchronizing wheel is further provided with a trigger element which is configured to be sensed by the proximity switch. The liquid coating roller is assembled with the mounting hole of the synchronizing wheel by a connecting shaft. A shaft main body of the connecting shaft is equipped with a rotation support device configured to support a rotation of the shaft main body. The rotation support device is equipped with a first lifting driving device configured to drive the rotation support device to ascend or descend vertically. A ranging sensor is arranged exactly above the liquid coating roller.
Touch Up Paint Kit
One embodiment of a container for transferring, storing, and dispensing paint indefinitely for touch-up painting by the use of a plurality of open-ably close-able apertures (310, 320) that cause transferring, storing, and dispensing of paint, in conjunction with a plurality of paint storage areas (1391, 153) that are independently open-ably sealable to allow for various functions such as, sealed storing of paint in one paint storage area while doing touch-up painting from another paint storage area, moving paint from external paint source to a paint storage area, moving paint between paint storage areas.
