Device for Applying a Hot-Melt to a Web of Material
The invention relates to a device for applying a hot-melt to a web of material. The device includes a driven roller and a nozzle with a nozzle channel arranged adjacent the driven roller for supplying a hot melt through the nozzle channel to the surface of the roller. The invention also relates to a combination of a device according to the invention and a web of material, which web of material is guided along the driven roller and wherein the nozzle channel exits in front of the nip of the web of material and the driven roller.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING OVERFLOW OF ADHESIVE
A system for preventing overflow of adhesive applied to a PET rolling film includes a drive unit, a detection unit, and a processing unit. The detection unit detects whether UV adhesive spread on a PET film flows out to limit lines on the PET film. The detection unit generates trigger signal upon detecting that the UV adhesive on the PET film flows to any of the limit lines, and then transmits the trigger signal to the processing unit. The processing unit controls the drive unit to accelerate a rotational speed of a guide roller for the PET film upon receiving the trigger signal from the detection unit, so as to accelerate a moving speed of the PET film.
LIQUID DEVICE
The invention relates to a liquid device comprising a main part (72), an intermediate body (75) which is arranged above the main part (72), and an opening body (78) which is arranged above the intermediate body (75) and which has openings (79). The intermediate body (75) and/or the opening body (78) can be acted upon and the intermediate body (75) is designed such that the intermediate body (75) is capable of changing a liquid-receiving volume of at least one opening (79), in particular of a plurality of openings (79), by at least partly engaging in the same.
Method for managing coating gloss on a coil-coating line
A method for managing the gloss of an organic coating formed on a moving strip on a coil-coating line, the method including the steps of: 1) Setting a set gloss value G.sub.s, a set gloss range R.sub.s and a proportionality constant K of a predefined linear mathematical relation between the temperature of the wet film before UV curing and the gloss, 2) Collecting the measure of the temperature T of the wet film in at least a width portion of the moving strip upstream of the UV curing device and collecting the measure of the gloss G, 3) Correcting a deviation of the measured gloss G beyond R.sub.s, this step including a sub-step of calculating the corrected temperature T.sub.c to be reached by the wet film in the width portion upstream of the UV curing device according to equation: T.sub.c=T+K(GG.sub.s).
ROLL MEMBER, COATING DEVICE, SEPARATOR PRODUCTION DEVICE, AND SECONDARY BATTERY PRODUCTION DEVICE
A roll member having an outer circumferential surface in which a plurality of grooves are formed, wherein the plurality of grooves are arranged at an angle relative to a direction parallel to a central axis of the roll member. A coating device for coating a film member with a coating liquid, the coating device comprising the roll member. A separator production device for producing a separator in which a heat-resistant layer is laminated over a substrate. The separator production device comprising the coating device. A secondary battery production device for producing a secondary battery comprising a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a pair of separators that sandwich the positive electrode plate or the negative electrode plate therebetween. The secondary battery production device comprising the separator production device.
Rotary applicator
Induction heating of a pattern perforated rotating cylinder susceptor is utilized to melt and apply thermoplastic materials to a substrate.
Manufacturing apparatus of coating film product
A manufacturing apparatus of a coating film product rolls a mixture coating material by a first roll and transfers the mixture coating material to a coated object in motion to thereby manufacture the coating film product. An arithmetic average roughness Ra on a roll surface of the first roll is higher than a value 0.05 times of a particle size d10 in which an integrated distribution of particle sizes of particles included in the mixture coating material is 10% and lower than a value 20 times a particle size d90 in which an integrated distribution is 90%.
Gravure kiss coater
A gravure kiss coater 1 includes a paint feeder 30 placed along a small-diameter gravure roll 10 having an outside diameter D in a range of 45-150 mm. The paint feeder 30 includes a doctor blade 32, a case 31, and a coating feed path 34, 35. A distal end 32a of the doctor blade 32 is directed in a direction opposite to a direction of rotation of the small-diameter gravure roll 10, and the small-diameter gravure roll 10 is capable of contacting the substrate S within a range of rotation angles equal to or less than 90 from the distal end 32a of the doctor blade 32.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TOW PREPREG
A tow prepreg manufacturing apparatus applies resin to an original tow of reinforcing fibers. The tow prepreg manufacturing apparatus includes an oiling roller, a scraper, a resin reservoir, a tube pump, and a controller. The oiling roller is supplied with resin while rotating at a predetermined rotation speed. The scraper adjusts the shape of the resin supplied onto the oiling roller. The resin reservoir supplies resin to the oiling roller. The tube pump discharges resin to the resin reservoir. The controller controls the tube pump so that the amount of resin held in the resin reservoir remains constant and controls the rotation speed of the oiling roller so that a resin content of a wound tow prepreg becomes equal to a target resin content.
