DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COATING SEED
A device for coating seeds with a liquid dressing solution, including a housing delimiting a chamber for accommodating the seeds, a rotating system for mixing the seeds and the dressing solution, an air duct for feeding hot air into the chamber and a separating unit which is permeable to the hot air and separates the air duct from the chamber. According to this invention, the separating unit includes at least one perforated metal sheet that has an inner face facing towards the chamber, an outer face facing towards the air duct and a plurality of projections, wherein a projection rises obliquely in the direction of the outer face and forms an opening inlet, which is inclined to the metal sheet plane, on the outer face. This invention further relates to a method in which the device is used.
Wet powder manufacturing apparatus and wet powder manufacturing method
A wet powder manufacturing apparatus includes a housing being arranged such that a central axis CL of the cylindrical inner surface extends in a substantially horizontal direction, a plurality of stirring blades provided rotatably about the central axis CL, a rotary plate configured to rotate the stirring blades about the central axis CL such that the wet powder accumulated at the bottom of the cylindrical inner surface is scooped by the stirring blades and then dropped, a driving device configured to impart a rotary force to the rotary plate, a liquid diffusing device configured to diffuse liquid into the drum inner space so as to wet the powder, and a controller configured to control operations of the driving device and the liquid diffusing device. The controller includes control for vibrating the stirring blades.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COATING MATERIAL WITH RESIN AND SUBSEQUENTLY LAYING THE MATERIAL SATURATED WITH THE RESIN ONTO A SURFACE
A device for coating material with resin and subsequently laying the material saturated with the resin onto a surface, the device comprising a vessel for retaining the resin, the vessel having a slot sized and configured so that the material is passable through the slot after being coated with resin retained in the vessel, and a first and a second roller being arranged on either side of the slot or behind the slot.

Rotatable caddy for catheters and other coiled surgical devices
A device comprises a cylinder and a tank. The cylinder includes a first disc and a second disc, multiple struts arranged orthogonally between the first disc and the second disc, and a plurality of walls, parallel to the first disc and the second disc. The struts generally form a circumference with spaces between each of the struts along the circumference; the walls extend through the space between the struts and beyond the circumference of the struts; and the walls form a plurality of tracks around the circumference of the struts. An axle extends orthogonally between the first disc and the second disc, and at least a portion of the cylinder rotates about the axle. The tank includes a basin to hold a liquid solution. When a catheter is wound around the cylinder, the rotation of the cylinder causes the catheter to be coated in the liquid solution from the basin.

Method and apparatus for adding dry colorant to landscape mulch fiber
An apparatus including an air blower; a rotary airlock; a receptacle having an inner chamber supplied with a plurality of colorant particles; a water supply; and a mixing chamber. The air blower blows air into a bottom section of the rotary airlock, and the rotary airlock receives colorant particles from an output of the receptacle. A rotor shaft of the rotary airlock rotates to cause colorant particles to be transported to the bottom section of the rotary airlock. Air blown into the bottom section of the rotary airlock mixes with colorant particles transported into the bottom section of the rotary airlock to form an air and colorant particles mixture, which is blown out of a first output of the rotary airlock and combined with water to form a water, air, and colorant particles mixture, which is mixed with material in a mixing chamber. The material may be natural mulch.

The controller includes control for vibrating the stirring blades.
Food process-line coating apparatus with exchangeable substitution or elimination of accessories of the tumbling and/or flipping nature
A drum-type coating apparatus for applying breading material to food product is configured to eliminate, in most circumstances, a hard cylindrical drum, to be replaced by a U-hanging belt, the belly of which provides all the operative utility of a cylindrical hard drum, but better than that, provides more clearance for cleaning operations, since the upper hemi-cylinder of a hard cylindrical drum provides no utility for tumbling purposes and only, to make matters worse, obstructs cleaning operations. Also, the overall coating apparatus for supporting the U-hanging belt, flexible drum is provided with provisions for the exchangeable substitution or elimination of accessories of the tumbling and/or flipping nature, including the U-hanging belt, flexible drum itself. In the elimination configuration, food product is not routed through any tumbling and/or flipping accessory but is instead run through a flat bed configuration. That way, delicate food product is protected from disintegration.
