COATING OF FOOD PRODUCTS WITH A PARTICULATE COATING MATERIAL

The invention relates to an in-line multi-mode coating machine adapted to coat food products with a particulate coating material, the machine comprising in-line with each other and in succession: an infeed conveyor assembly, a rotary tumbling drum, an elevator device and a discharge conveyor assembly. In a drum-mode, the rotary tumbling drum is adapted to be supplied with particulate coating material and to tumble the food products and particulate coating material together. In a conveyor-mode of the coating machine the infeed conveyor assembly and the discharge conveyor assembly are arranged to adjoin each other whilst extending through the rotary tumbling drum, so that food products bypass the rotary tumbling drum and the elevator device.

The drum coater may have a truncated cone on both sides, in which one side is opened and another side is closed. The drum coater is horizontally placed inside the operation box along its axis and fixed on a rotatable shaft and a motor drives the rotatable shaft and rotates the drum coater about its own axis.

MIXING APPARATUS

Providing a mixing apparatus capable of efficiently input noodles coated with an additive to a receiving tray, and having no need to perform weighing again after the noodles are input to the receiving tray.

The mixing apparatus 8 includes: a hopper 30 that houses the falling noodles and that allows noodles to fall while rotating; and a supply device 60 that supplies a sauce to the noodles in the hopper 30, and at least two hopper 30 are provided in a falling direction.

Implant coating and drying device

The present invention proposes an implant coating and drying device, including a chip sorter, a slide maker, a coating pool, a tablet pipe, a tablet conveying device, and a drying device. The chip sorter is connected to the slide maker, the shape of the coating pool is a circular arc. The coating pool is filled with coating solution. The inlet of the tablet pipe is connected with the slide maker, and the outlet of the tablet pipe is connected with the drying device, the tablet conveying device is used to deliver the implant tablet within the tablet pipe. The present invention proposes an implant coating and drying device, which has the advantages of simple structure and convenient operation, and avoids the defect of the prior art that the implant tablets adhere to each other, the coating is damaged, and the release degree of the implant tablet cannot be stabilized. The present invention proposes the implant coating and drying device is suitable for mass production.

Continuous Coating Method

Disclosed are methods and systems for continuously coating food pieces. The methods include a steps of directing and uncoated food stream through an enrober to apply a first coating to at least a portion of a surface of each food piece to form a coated stream and continuously redirecting a portion of the coated stream back through the enrober along with the stream of uncoated food pieces to apply at least one additional coating to the portion of the coated stream.

Method of preparing core-shell particles

A method of manufacturing core-shell particles comprises: filling a buffer into a rotor, which is extended in a longitudinal direction, and is accommodated so as to be spaced apart from an inner wall side of a non-rotational hollow cylinder extended in a longitudinal direction and then discharging air to outside; rotating the rotor after terminating the filling; forming a core-shell precursor by supplying raw materials from a first storage and a second storage, which comprise a material forming a core, into an interior of the cylinder in which the rotor rotates; supplying a shell material for coating the core to the interior of the cylinder in which a core-type precursor is formed; separating a liquid comprising core-shell particles formed through the supplying into a solid and a liquid; and drying the core-shell particles obtained through the separating.

Apparatus for powder coating of particles

An apparatus for coating pharmaceutical particles such as drug dosage forms or pellets is provided which includes a drum assembly mounted for rotation about a cylindrical axis of the drum and which includes an outer drum section and an inner perforated drum section mounted concentrically on an interior of the outer drum section such that an annular chamber is formed between the perforated inner drum section and the outer drum section. Two or more baffle plates are attached between an outer surface of the inner perforated drum and an inner surface of the outer drum which are configured to act as baffles to restrain or regulate the flow of air which define two or more compartments depending on the number of baffle plates. One end of the drum assembly includes an end plate with a central aperture for use in loading pellets into the drum and provide access to coating constituents that are pumped into the drum interior during the coating process. An air distribution plate is attached at the other end of the drum and has air flow passageways and is interfaced with an air introduction plate having air inlet and outlet passageways. As the drum rotates the air flow passageways in the distribution plate alternately come into flow communication with the air inlet and outlet passageways in the air introduction plate thereby providing a flow path of air into the perforate inner drum and out of the drum assembly.
