A gas and liquid knife and a control method thereof are provided. The gas and liquid knife includes a chamber and a knife head. An ejection opening is provided at the knife head The knife head has a first knife lip and a second knife lip. The ejection opening is defined between a first inner wall of the first knife lip and a second inner wall of the second knife lip. The chamber is defined between the first wall plate and the second wall plate slidably connected with each other. The first knife lip connects to the first wall plate. The second knife lip connects to the second wall plate. The first knife lip and second knife lip moves relatively as the first wall plate and the second wall plate slides relatively, such that a minimum distance between the first inner wall and the second inner wall could be changed.

The present invention relates to a slot die with a structure in which a stripe shim and a cover shim are mounted between an upper body and a lower body, and a choke bar is inserted into a through path formed in the upper body, and an apparatus for coating an electrode slurry including the slot die. According to the present invention, by forming a space in which the choke bar can move by the cover shim, it is possible to adjust the flow rate of the slurry through the choke bar regardless of the shape of the stripe shim.
SLURRY DISTRIBUTOR, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
A slurry distribution system can include a feed conduit and a distribution conduit in fluid communication therewith. The feed conduit can include a first feed inlet and a second feed inlet disposed in spaced relationship thereto. The distribution conduit can extend generally along a longitudinal axis and include an entry portion and a distribution outlet in fluid communication therewith. The entry portion is in fluid communication with the first and second feed inlets of the feed conduit. The distribution outlet extends a predetermined distance along a transverse axis, which is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The slurry distribution system can be placed in fluid communication with a gypsum slurry mixer adapted to agitate water and calcined gypsum to form an aqueous calcined gypsum slurry.
SLURRY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A slurry distributor for use in a continuous manufacturing process includes an inlet opening and a shaped duct adapted to receive a flow of slurry provided at the inlet opening. The shaped duct has a parabolic guide surface adapted to redirect the flow of slurry. An outlet opening in fluid communication with the shaped duct is adapted to discharge the flow of slurry from the slurry distributor.

A multi-slot die includes a plurality of dies that form a continuous coating portion along a length direction on one electrode substrate that continuously proceeds in multiple columns to be spaced apart from each other along a width direction intersecting the length direction, using a supplied active material slurry, a plurality of gap adjustment assemblies that are provided corresponding to each of the dies and independently adjust gaps set between each of the dies and the electrode substrate along a discharge direction of the die and a die position adjustment assembly that is provided corresponding to the gap adjustment assemblies and independently adjusts positions of the dies with respect to the width direction.

A dampening mechanism in combination with a compound applicator. The combination includes a compound applicator which further includes an incrementally iterative advancement mechanism for urging a plunger along a tube reservoir in preselected incremental strokes. The plunger urges compound along the tube reservoir and out through an applicator head. The compound applicator includes a device for dampening pressure spikes created in the tube reservoir during an incremental stroke of the plunger.
COATING APPARATUS AND COATING METHOD
Disclosed are coating equipment and a coating method. The coating equipment comprises a coating die and a slurry parameter detector. The coating die comprises a first slot, a second slot, a first adjusting mechanism and a second adjusting mechanism. Through the arrangement of the first adjusting mechanism and the second adjusting mechanism, adjustment of the flow rate of slurry circulating in the first slot and the second slot can be realized, and parameters of coated slurry are detected by a slurry parameter detector, and are then compared with preset values, and comparison results are fed back to the first adjusting mechanism and the second adjusting mechanism for adjustment of the first adjusting piece and the second adjusting piece, so that automatic adjustment of double-layer die coating is realized, the debugging effectiveness is greatly improved, and the coating efficiency is further improved.
