Methods for residual material collection in laser-assisted deposition
In a laser-assisted deposition system, a uniform layer of material is coated onto a donor substrate at a coating system, and portions of the material are jetted from the donor substrate to a receiving substrate at a printing unit, leaving residual portions of the material on the donor substrate. In order to not waste the residual portions of the material, the donor substrate with the residual portions of the material is returned to the coating system where the residual portions of the material are aggregated into a blob and subsequently recoated onto the donor substrate. The blob may be formed by translating the residual portions of the material towards an interface formed by two coating rollers, a squeegee and the donor substrate, or a film and the donor substrate.
Electrode plate rolling apparatus and electrode plate rolling method
This application discloses an electrode plate rolling apparatus and an electrode plate rolling method that are configured to roll an electrode plate. The electrode plate includes a coated region and an uncoated region. The electrode plate rolling apparatus includes a roller group, a heating part, and a cooling part. The heating part is configured to heat the electrode plate, and the cooling part is configured to cool the electrode plate. The heating part further includes an extension assembly, and the extension assembly can extend the uncoated region when the heating part heats the electrode plate. The electrode plate passes through the cooling part after passing through the heating part. The heating part and the cooling part are configured to reduce a difference between an extensibility parameter of the uncoated region and an extensibility parameter of the coated region.

APPARATUS FOR COATING A SURFACE WITH PARTICLES
The disclosure relates to a coating apparatus for applying a layer of particles to a receiving surface. The apparatus comprises a pressurized air source, an application chamber partially bounded by the receiving surface into which an air stream is delivered by the air source, an air return path for returning air from the application chamber to an intake of the air source to form an air circulation loop, a dosing device for introducing particles to be coated onto the receiving surface into the air circulation loop, and a controller serving to regulate the dosing device so as to maintain the particle concentration within predetermined limits. A method of applying a layer of particles is also provided, as well as printing systems benefiting from the present coating apparatus.
Dispensing unit and dispensing system
A dispensing unit for dispensing liquid material includes a hollow reservoir for accommodating a syringe and having an elongated nipple at one end of the reservoir, a piston including a shaft disposed therein, and a bracket adapted to receive the nipple of the reservoir and the piston. The reservoir nipple provides a fluid path for liquid material dispensed from the syringe supported in the reservoir. The bracket receives the nipple of the reservoir such that the fluid path for the liquid material is oriented towards a nozzle disposed in the bracket. The nipple also has holes disposed near an end thereof, and the bracket is adapted to receive the piston oriented with respect to the reservoir nipple such that the shaft of the piston is aligned with the holes in the nipple and the nozzle. The shaft is displaceable through the holes in the nipple towards the nozzle.
GRAVURE COATING DEVICE FOR PREPARING LARGE-WIDTH ULTRATHIN METAL LITHIUM STRIP AND METHOD THEREFOR
Provided are a gravure coating device for preparing a large-width ultrathin metal lithium strip and the preparation method, relating to the technical field of preparation of metal lithium materials. The device comprises: a lithium-melting tank (17), a micro-gravure roller (5), a unwinding device, a substrate back roller (7), a hot pressing device and a winding device; wherein the lower portion of the micro-gravure roller (5) is immersed into the liquid lithium in the lithium-melting tank (17); one side of the micro-gravure roller (5) is provided with a hot scraper (6), and the end portion of the hot scraper (6) is in contact with the surface of the micro-gravure roller (5); the substrate back roller (7) is arranged diagonally above the micro-gravure roller (5); the unwinding device is arranged on one side of the substrate back roller (7); the winding device is arranged above the substrate back roller (7); the hot pressing device is arranged between the substrate back roller (7) and the winding device; after passing through the substrate back roller (7) and the hot pressing device, the substrate on the unwinding device is winded onto the winding device. The device is simple in structure and reasonable in design, effectively improves the coating uniformity, and realizes automatic production of ultrathin metal lithium strips with a thickness of 1-50 μm, thereby greatly improving work efficiency and product quality.
Adhesive applicator control system
An apparatus for coating carpet webs in a coating apparatus with varying adhesives includes a controller, one or more sensors for detecting a volume of a puddle of the adhesive pooled in front of an application roller, and an electronic valve in fluid communication with each of a plurality of mixers. The electronic valve directs flow of the adhesive from any of the mixers to the coating apparatus. To switch from one of the adhesives to new adhesive as a next carpet web passes through the coating apparatus, the controller calculates a remaining length of the carpet web that can be coated with the adhesive in the puddle of adhesive based on the volume of the puddle, so that the puddle of the adhesive coats the carpet web, and then proximate a seam to the next carpet web, the new adhesive begins to coat the next carpet web.
BATTERY GRID FEEDER FOR A PASTING MACHINE
