MANUFACTURING DEVICE OF ORGANIC SEMICONDUCTOR FILM

A device for manufacturing an organic semiconductor film, including a coating member disposed to face a substrate surface while spaced therefrom for forming the film, and forming a liquid reservoir of an organic semiconductor solution between the coating member and the substrate; a supply portion that supplies the solution; and a cover portion that covers at least a crystal growth portion of the solution. The cover portion includes a guide that guides a deposit formed of an evaporated solvent of the solution to a film-unformed region of the organic semiconductor film. While the solution is supplied between the coating member and the substrate surface by the supply portion, the coating member is moved in a first direction parallel to the substrate surface in a state of being in contact with the solution, to form the film with the crystal growth portion as a starting point.

A sealing blade includes opposite elongated edges (30, 31) and between them a flat (32) and which is adaptable to a blade holder (17) arranged in a coating applicator (25) of a coating device (21) and into contact with a moving surface (11). The sealing blade has a contact surface (33), which may be arranged against the moving surface and which is 5-15% of the width (W) of the sealing blade (10).

SQUEEGEE APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

The present invention is directed to a squeegee apparatus which includes a main housing including an inlet end and an outlet end, the outlet end including an extrusion face and a protruding lip member, the inlet end including an inlet opening and the extrusion face including at least one outlet opening, wherein the inlet opening and the at least one outlet opening are in fluid communication with each other within the main housing. The present invention is also directed to a method for repairing a thermal barrier coating with a squeegee apparatus including supplying a repair composition into the inlet opening of the squeegee apparatus and depositing the repair composition from the at least one outlet opening onto the damaged region and concurrently traversing the squeegee apparatus over the damaged region while contacting a thermal barrier coating adjacent to the damaged region with the lip member.

CREPING BLADE FOR TISSUE MAKING

A method of creping a web including supporting the web on a drum and rotating the drum to move a first length of the web proximate to a creping blade such that the creping blade removes the first length from the drum. The creping blade has first and second sections made of a base material. The base material has a first coefficient of friction at the first section and is processed to produce a second coefficient of friction at the second section greater than the first coefficient of friction. The method includes moving the first length along the first section, removing a second length of the web from the drum with the creping blade, moving the first length along the second section, forming the second length into at least one microfold as the first length contacts the second section, and forming the second length into at least one macrofold.
