GLUING STATION AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH A GLUING STATION
A gluing station for applying glue to product elements guided in a product stream is intended to permit continuation of the production process and gluing of the product elements in a particularly simple and reliable manner even after a temporary machine stop or production standstill. For this purpose, according to the invention, a moistening system is assigned to a glue application roller that can roll on the product stream. During operation of the gluing station, in the event of a stopped product stream, the glue application roller is pivoted away from the product stream and the transfer roller for the duration of the standstill and is kept rotating, whereby the surface of the glue application roller is moistened.

The curved surface coating device includes a transmission member connected between the first and second ends of the bracket and its distance from the first end of the bracket is adjustable. The curved surface coating device includes a first driving mechanism connected with the transmission member for driving the bracket to rotate about the transmission member as a center of rotation. The curved surface coating device includes a second driving mechanism connected with the bracket for driving the bracket to move on a line where the first end and the second end are located.
DISPENSING SYSTEM
A dispensing system can include a material delivery assembly that includes a tubular reservoir with a tubular extension, where the tubular reservoir includes a longitudinal axis; a nozzle body, where the tubular extension fluidly couples the tubular reservoir to the nozzle body; and a rotor coupling that operatively couples to the material delivery assembly for rotation of the tubular reservoir about its longitudinal axis.
LIQUID AGENT APPLICATION APPARATUS
A liquid agent application apparatus includes an application nozzle that is movable up and down and in a horizontal plane direction with respect to a board, an application valve that switch between a first state in which supply of a liquid agent to the application nozzle is performed and a second state in which the supply of the liquid agent to the application nozzle is stopped, and a control device that controls these. The control device performs control such that the application nozzle is lowered, the application valve is switched to the second state by standing by a predetermined time after switching the application valve to the first state at a predetermined supply start timing, and the application nozzle is raised after a timing at which a tip end of the application nozzle reaches a lowering end and the application valve is switched to the second state.
System for removing support structure using integrated fluid paths
A system for producing three-dimensional objects forms fluid paths within the support structure to facilitate the removal of the support structure following manufacture of the object. The system includes a first ejector configured to eject a first material towards a platen to form an object, a second ejector configured to eject a second material towards the platen to form support for portions of the object, at least one portion of the support having a body with at least one fluid path that connects at least one opening in the body to at least one other opening in the body, and a fluid source that connects to the at least one fluid path of the support to enable fluid to flow through the at least one fluid path to remove at least an inner portion of the support from the object.
NAIL POLISH APPLICATION AND SOLIDIFICATION APPARATUS
Apparatuses and methods for automatically applying and solidifying nail polish on nails of a user comprising operating one or more nail polish applying elements configured to crudely apply nail polish on one or more nail surfaces of one or more fingers identified in a treatment space based on analysis of sensory data captured by one or more imaging sensors configured to capture sensory data depicting the treatment space, operating one or more solidifying energy source(s) to solidify the nail polish applied on the nail surface(s) and operating one or more nail polish removal elements to accurately remove nail polish residues applied on skin of the finger(s) surrounding at least partially a boundary of the nail surface(s) while avoiding removing the nail polish applied within the boundary.
Tilt and rotate dispenser having motion control
A dispensing system includes a frame, a support coupled to the frame, a dispensing unit configured to dispense viscous material, and a gantry assembly coupled to the frame. The gantry assembly includes a gantry configured to support the dispensing unit and to move the dispensing unit in x-axis, y-axis and z-axis directions and a tilt and rotate subassembly configured to tilt and rotate the dispensing unit. The dispensing system further includes a controller configured to control dispensing unit and the gantry assembly to perform a dispense operation on the electronic substrate. The controller is configured to simultaneously coordinate the movement of the gantry assembly and the tilt and rotate subassembly to position and orient the nozzle of the dispensing unit a predetermined distance and orientation from the electronic substrate while dispensing material along a three-dimensional path.
Autonomous soil moisture control
Embodiments describe a method for moisturizing soil at an open construction site. The method includes determining current site characteristics of the open construction site; storing the current site characteristics in memory; determining a target volume of water for achieving a target soil moisture level based on the current site characteristics of the open construction site; calculating a target water application rate to achieve the target soil moisture level across the open construction site; determining a planned path across the open construction site; and guiding a water truck along the planned path while dispensing the target volume of water at the target application rate to achieve the target moisture level in the soil at the open construction site.
METERING SYSTEM
A metering system for applying a bead of a multi-component composite material to a component. The metering system comprises a mixing head including a mixing chamber. The metering system includes one supply line for each component of a multi-component composite material, leading from a source of each component to the mixing chamber. The mixing chamber is configured to mix the components of the multi-component composite material in the mixing chamber and has an outlet opening through which the mixed multi-component composite material exits the mixing head. The metering system includes a metering pump to convey a discharge of the multi-component composite material through the outlet opening. The metering system includes a control unit to output, to the metering pump, a control signal comprising control information andvadjust a metering output of the multi-component composite material through the outlet opening of the mixing head based on the control signal.
Viscous material discharge device
A controller controls a plunger to operate at a measurement speed and discharge the viscous material from the nozzle before applying the viscous material to the workpiece. The controller measures a period of time, from when the plunger starts operating at the measurement speed until a discharge amount of the viscous material reaches a predetermined value, as a time delay amount. The controller further determines an operation speed of the plunger and/or a moving speed of the nozzle during application of the viscous material to the workpiece according to the measured time delay amount.
