Methods for applying materials to interface areas and applicator comprising a surface interface guide forming a continuous ring-shaped flow channel
Provided are methods and systems for applying materials at interface areas formed by fasteners and parts. Specifically, a material is delivered to an interface area such that at least a portion of a fastener remains free from this material. The interface area may be sealed such that the material is contained within that area. As such, a controlled amount of the material is dispensed in a precise location. An applicator used for this process may include a housing and inner guide slidably disposed within this housing. The material may be delivered through an annular flow channel between the housing and inner guide. The inner guide may be sealed against and, in some embodiments, centered with respect to the fastener. The housing may be sealed with respect to the part and, in some embodiments, may be rotated with respect to the part to redistribute the material at the interface area.
Applicator For Depositing A Layer Of Adhesive Or Sealant Composition On A Biological And/Or Prosthetic Tissue
Applicator for depositing a layer of adhesive or sealant composition on a target site of a biological and/or prosthetic tissue, the applicator including a body having an application face intended to be positioned facing the biological and/or prosthetic tissue, and having
a first outlet opening provided in the application face, the first outlet opening being shaped as a slot for allowing the adhesive or sealant composition to flow out of the applicator and to form the layer of adhesive or sealant composition,
a second inlet opening provided in the application face, adjacent the first outlet opening, for allowing pollutants or undesirable elements to be removed from the target site while depositing the layer of adhesive or sealant composition, wherein the first outlet opening has a first section and the second inlet opening has a second section, the second section being greater than the first section.
Fluid applicator device with fluid control mechanism
An example fluid applicator device includes an applicator assembly, and a reservoir assembly configured to store a fluid and is rotatable, relative to the applicator assembly, to control a valve mechanism that controls a flow of the fluid from the reservoir assembly to the applicator assembly, wherein the applicator assembly is configured to apply the fluid to a surface.
Hand-held adhesive deliver apparatus
An adhesive deliver apparatus includes: a separable holder having a flexible press region thereon and comprising an interior receiving chamber for placing the adhesive tube; a support tube having a substantially elongated shape and comprising a proximal end and a distal end; a connector connected with the proximal end of the support tube and arranged to operably connect with a nozzle of the adhesive tube; and an inner tube positioned within the support tube and comprising an inlet end connected with the connector and an outlet end approximating to the distal end of the support tube; wherein when the press region is pressed to cause an interior surface of the press region to press the adhesive tube, the adhesive fluid will be squeezed out from the adhesive tube and transmitted through the inner tube from the inlet end to the outlet end.
Single-serve condiment container and dispenser
A condiment container that includes a hollow lower sidewall having a bottom with an inwardly projecting shelf. The lower sidewall defines a lower cavity and a false bottom is captured within the lower sidewall. An upper portion extends from the lower sidewall to define an upper cavity. That upper portion includes an upper front wall with a first height, a higher upper rear wall, a first side neck wall, a second side neck wall, and a top wall. A condiment pack and a toothed track are located within the lower cavity. Moving the false bottom toward the top wall causes the toothed track to rupture the condiment pack. The top wall has a slot for condiment in the ruptured pack to leave the container. At least one serrated edge is disposed along the slot to enable spreading the released condiment.
ADHESIVE SPLITTER SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are adhesive splitter systems and methods for using the same. The adhesive splitter systems comprise a multi-nozzle adapter configured to dispense multiple streams of adhesive onto a substrate. The splitter system can also include an attached adhesive dispenser for providing adhesive to the multi-nozzle adapter.
Sealant applicator
A sealant applicator for spreading caulk material along a surface of a structure. The sealant applicator has an attachment base with a channel through which the tapered nozzle of the sealant tube extends. The sealant applicator also has an application blade that extends from the upper surface of the attachment base. The application blade has a triangular-shaped blade with a distal tip and opposed lateral wings, for spreading caulk material that is dispensed from the tapered nozzle, along a surface of a structure, to cover and seal joints and crevices in the surface of a structure.
APPLICATOR NOZZLES
A slot applicator nozzle has a body with a dispensing end sized to fit within a slot of an object. The body defines a channel therethrough with an outlet at the dispensing end. The dispensing end includes a leading contact surface and a trailing contact surface separated from each other by a gap. Both the leading and trailing contact surfaces are configured to contact a bottom surface of the slot as the body is moved along the slot in an application direction. The trailing contact surface is disposed between the leading contact surface and a rear end of the body. The outlet of the channel is configured to emit a flowable substance rearward of the trailing contact surface onto the bottom surface of the slot as the body is moved in the application direction.
