Electrical pen with improvements for pen removably retaining single use cartridge containing tooth whitening compounds, dental bonding compounds, nail polish, and adhesives and removably retaining disposable tooth whitening applicators, disposable dental bonding compound applicators, nail polish applicators and disposable adhesive applicators
An apparatus for removably retaining a single use cartridge and dispensing at least one compound from the single use cartridge. The apparatus includes a dispensing pen having a housing which includes a source of electricity, an electric motor, a gear assembly and a moving shaft with a multiplicity of teeth to cause an advancing shaft to move forwardly toward the front of the pen and interact with a piston to push a plunger at the rear of the cartridge so that it will dispense compounds from the cartridge. The cartridge can be a single chamber cartridge or a dual chamber cartridge or a dual chamber cartridge separated by a dividing wall. There can be any numerous compounds including teeth whitening compounds, nail polish, cosmetics, etc.
A CAPSULE FOR MIXING AND DISPENSING A DENTAL MATERIAL
A capsule for mixing and dispensing a dental material which has a body forming a cavity. The cavity is closed by a liquid container. The body and the liquid container in combination form a mixing chamber containing a first component of the dental material. The liquid container has a cup-shaped cartridge formed by a cartridge front wall and a cartridge side wall and having a rear opening. A plug is movably joined within the cartridge through the rear opening for extruding a liquid second component of the dental material. The cartridge further has a channel extending through the cartridge side wall for releasing the second component into the mixing chamber. The body side wall inwardly has a recess being dimensioned for establishing a fluid communication between the channel and the cavity in an activated position, where the activated position corresponds to a second axial position of a two different axial positions of the of the cartridge and the body relative to each other. Further the first axial position corresponds to an inactivated position in which the channel is offset from the recess. A first cover film seals the joint between the cartridge and the plug, and the channel is openably sealed by a second cover film at least in the inactivated position. The capsule helps facilitating the preparation of a dental material.
DYNAMIC MIXER HEAD
The invention is related to a dynamic mixer head which comprises a connecting cover, a rotor and a housing. The connecting cover comprises a concentric rotor opening. The rotor has a rotor axle mounted in the concentric rotor opening and a mixing rotor connected with the rotor axle. The mixing rotor comprises multiple vaned inner rotors with quarter-circle shaped multiple vanes and a vaned front rotor opposite to rotor axle of the mixing rotor with multiple vanes complementary to the multiple vanes of the multiple vaned inner rotors. The housing mounted to the connecting cover comprises at least two grooves disposed on the circular partition. Each of the at least two grooves comprises a spacer along each of the at least two grooves. The dynamic mixer head can enhance the mixing effect of two different component substances during rotation.
METHODS, DEVICES AND KITS FOR APPLYING STRUCTURAL ADHESIVES
A system for dispensing an adhesive, the system including a chamber that holds at least two flexible containment vessels, the at least two flexible containment vessels holding at least a part 1 and a part 2; and at least two adhesive delivery channels, a first adhesive delivery channel connected to the containment vessel to receive part 1 and a second adhesive delivery channel connected to the containment vessel to receive part 2; a 10 motor; at least a first variable positive displacement pump wherein the first variable positive displacement pump is actuated by the motor; and a mixing tip designed to receive part 1 and part 2 from the at least two adhesive delivery channels, mix at least part 1 and part 2 together and dispense the adhesive through a dispensing end.
Mixing and dispensing curable multi-component materials
Methods, apparatus, devices and systems for mixing and dispensing multi-component materials. The mixing and dispensing may be performed using a mobile, enclosed dispenser that can be used to supply a mixed multi-component material at the point of use. In some embodiments, the components to be mixed into the multi-component material may be supplied in cartridges.
