Apparatus and method for dispensing a fluid
A fluid transfer assembly comprises a housing for accommodating a fluid. A bellows member disposed in the housing defines an opening therethrough adapted to be in fluid communication with an applicator assembly. The bellows member is adapted to operatively engage the applicator assembly for extension in a first direction and contraction in a second direction. The bellows member seals against the inner surface of the housing during extension and contraction for defining a variable volume chamber with the housing. Expansion of the bellows member in the first direction reduces the chamber volume for generating positive pressure in the housing and forcing fluid through a valve to the applicator assembly. Contraction of the bellows member in the second direction increases the chamber volume for generating negative pressure within the housing for drawing fluid into the chamber.
MODULAR SPRAY ROLLER SYSTEM
A spray roller system for application of architectural paints coating, includes an extension tube, a spray head mounted on a distal end of the extension tube, and the in-line valve with a trigger mounted on a proximal end of the extension tube, and a roller handle removable mounted on the extension tube adjacent the spray head. The spray roller system can spray and back roll a coating on a down stroke and roll on each up stroke. When the roller handle is removed from the extension tube, it can be used to hand roll sensitive wall areas. With the roller handle removed, extension tube, spray head, and in-line valve can be used as a spray extension to apply coatings in hard to reach areas.

Apparatus and method for dispensing fluid
An apparatus for dispensing a fluid from a source of fluid comprises a roller and a tray member. The tray member comprises a pair of spaced walls having a contiguous tapered inner surface for defining an arcuate recess in an outer surface of the tray member, the outer surface tapering to an outer edge of each wall. Roller mounting means includes a pair of resilient spaced arms, each one of the arms spanning between and interconnecting the ends of the spaced wall. The tray member defines a pair ports spaced along a central longitudinal axis of the tray member for providing fluid communication between the source of fluid and the tray member. The roller is rotatably mounted to the spaced arms for receiving fluid from the tray member and applying the fluid onto a surface.
INTERNAL SURFACE TREATMENT DEVICE FOR HOLLOW ENGINE SHAFT AND THE LIKE
A surface treatment device for applying a surface treatment to an inner surface of a hollow engine shaft includes a supply of a surface treatment agent and an elongated rod extending from a proximal end to a distal end. The elongated rod has an inner passage extending from the proximal end to the distal end. The proximal end has an inlet fluidly coupled to the supply of the surface treatment agent. The inner passage terminates at an outlet at the distal end. The elongated rod is insertable inside the hollow engine shaft. An applicator is disposed at the distal end of the elongated rod adjacent the outlet. The applicator is engageable with the inner surface of the hollow engine shaft for applying the surface treatment agent from the supply of the surface treatment agent to the inner surface of the hollow engine shaft.
Tool and method for applying an anti-corrosion substance to an aircraft passenger seat rail
A tool for applying a corrosion-protection substance to a rail for securing seats in an aircraft. The tool includes a component of elongate overall shape, with a base configured to slide along the rail, and a rollers support connected to the base. The tool also has an axle incorporated in the rollers support, which extends transversally with respect to the longitudinal direction of the component on each side of the rollers support, and rollers for applying the substance mounted on the transverse axle, one on each side of the component. The tool allows the substance to be applied effectively to the flange parts of the rail that is to be protected.
