Coated steel sucker rods and process for manufacture of same
In a process for applying a friction-resistant coating to a steel sucker rod, the rod is passed, in sequence, through a surface preparation stage (for example, scale removal, shot peening, or other suitable method), an adhesive application stage (to enhance the strength of the coating's bond to the rod), an extrusion stage (in which the rod is passed through a die in conjunction with a flow of melted polymeric coating material), and a cooling (coating solidification) stage. Typically, the radial thickness of the coating will be between 0.125 and 0.375 inches. The process is adaptable to apply extruded coatings to continuous rod or to individual sucker rods having upset ends. The coating may be selected from but is not limited to high-density polyethylene, cross-linked polyethylene, polyvinylidene fluoride, ethylene tetrafluoroethylene, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyphenylensulfide, nylon, polyester, polyethersulfone, polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, polystyrene, epoxy, or acetyl.
Method for preparing flavor-containing sheet for smoking article, flavor-containing sheet for smoking article prepared by the method, and smoking article comprising the same
A method for preparing a flavor-containing sheet for a smoking article, characterized by includes a step of extending a raw material slurry on a substrate, wherein the slurry contains polysaccharide and a flavor, has a moisture content of 70 to 95 wt %, and has a temperature of 60 to 90 C. in a sol state, a step of cooling the extended raw material slurry to a sample temperature of 0 to 40 C. to form a gel, and a heat-drying step includes heating the gelled raw material and drying it at a sample temperature of 70 to 100 C.
Method and device for producing a powder coating melt
In a method and a device for producing a powder coating melt, firstly a first powder coating melt is produced from a powder coating premix by a screw machine. Powder coating particles are supplied to the first powder coating melt. Then a second powder coating melt is produced by mixing the first powder coating melt and the powder coating particles by the screw machine. This allows a simple, gentle and efficient recycling of powder coating particles, in particular of so-called off-spec powder coating particles.
TREATMENT FACILITY FOR TREATING WORKPIECES, AND METHOD FOR TREATING WORKPIECES
The present invention relates to a treatment plant (100) for treating workpieces (102), in particular for drying vehicle bodies, which comprises a treatment space (107) for receiving and treating one or more workpieces (102), wherein the treatment space (107) comprises a plurality of treatment space portions (108) which are each assigned to a separate recirculated air unit (118) by means of which a recirculated air flow guided through the respective treatment space portion (108) in a flow direction can be generated, wherein the treatment space (107) has a conveying direction (114) through the treatment space portions (108) and a transverse direction (115) of the treatment space (107) running perpendicular to the conveying direction (114), and wherein each recirculated air unit (118) comprises the following: a fan (120) for driving the recirculated air flow in the respective recirculated air unit (118); one or more temperature-control apparatuses (122) for heating or cooling the recirculated air flow; one or more supply apparatuses (126) and/or supply modules (127) for supplying the recirculated air flow to the treatment space portion (108); one or more supply ducts (142) for supplying the recirculated air flow to the one or more supply apparatuses (126) and/or supply modules (127); one or more return ducts (128) for returning the recirculated air flow from the treatment space portion (108) to the fan (120); and one or more electrical auxiliary temperature-control apparatuses (152) for reheating or recooling the recirculated air flow in the supply ducts (142) and/or return ducts (128).
METHOD OF INTERNAL LINING OF CONTAINERS AND LINING APPARATUS
The present invention concerns a method of lining (4) a container (2) for gas, such as hydrogen, helium, and the like, comprising the following steps: inserting (41) a powder of lining material (P) in a container (2); applying (42) the lining material (P) on the inner surface of the container (2); and fixing (43) the lining material (P) on the inner surface (211) of the container (2).
The present invention also concerns an apparatus (1) for the lining of a tank (2) for the containment of high-pressure gases.
