Method for producing building material
A method for producing a building material includes a first step of applying a first ultraviolet-curable paint onto an inorganic material containing a woody reinforcement and incompletely curing the first ultraviolet-curable paint, a second step of applying a second ultraviolet-curable paint and completely curing the second ultraviolet-curable paint, a third step of polishing the completely cured second ultraviolet-curable paint to smoothen a surface of the completely cured second ultraviolet-curable paint, and a fourth step of applying an enamel paint and curing the enamel paint. In the second step, the second ultraviolet-curable paint is applied while the first ultraviolet-curable paint is incompletely cured.
Composite photoalignment layer
A composite photoalignment layer for aligning liquid crystal molecules includes: a monomeric material; a photoinitiator or a thermal initiator; and an azo dye material. A method for preparing a composite photoalignment layer for aligning liquid crystal molecules includes: mixing, in solution form, a monomeric material, a photoinitiator or a thermal initiator, and an azo dye material; coating the mixed solution onto a substrate to form a thin film; exposing the thin film to polarized light; and, with a thermal initiator, heating the thin film to polymerize the monomeric material and form a solid thin film.
Digital printing with transparent blank ink
A method, a panel and equipment to form a digital print by applying dry ink (15), preferably including particles of pigment coated wood fibres (61), on a surface (2), bonding a part of the particles with a liquid blank ink drops (57) and removing the non-bonded particles from the surface (2).
THIN FILM FORMING APPARATUS AND TRANSPARENT CONDUCTIVE FILM
A thin film forming apparatus including: a first chamber configured to generate a mist of a dispersion liquid, and including an outlet; a second chamber configured to receive the generated mist from the first chamber and collect particles of the generated mist having a size greater than a predetermined value, and including an inlet provided on a top of the second chamber and connected to the outlet of the first chamber, and an outlet provided on the top of the second chamber and configured to transfer, as homogenized mist, particles of the generated mist having a size less than or equal to the predetermined value due to the effect of gravity on the particles of the mist; and a third chamber configured to receive the homogenized mist from the second chamber, and including an inlet connected to the outlet of the second chamber.
PAINT CURING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A curing system can include a movable housing, a curtain, one or more shutters, and a control unit. The curtain can comprise at least one curing element and can be coupled to the housing and movable relative to the housing. The one or more shutters can each comprise one or more curing elements, the curing elements being movable relative to the shutters. The control unit can be configured to operate the curing system based on one or more system inputs including a recipe, a template, and one or more system parameters.
ASSEMBLIES AND PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING OPTICAL EFFECT LAYERS COMPRISING ORIENTED NON-SPHERICAL OBLATE MAGNETIC OR MAGNETIZABLE PIGMENT PARTICLES
The present invention relates to the field of optical effect layers (OEL) comprising magnetically oriented non-spherical oblate magnetic or magnetizable pigment particles on a substrate, spinneable magnetic assemblies and processes for producing said optical effect layers (OEL). In particular, the present invention relates to spinneable magnetic assemblies and processes for producing said OELs as anti-counterfeit means on security documents or security articles or for decorative purposes.
METHOD FOR PRINTING A SURFACE WITH A PRINTED PATTERN AND ASSOCIATED PRINTING DEVICE
A method for printing a surface (1) with a printed pattern (2) includes printing a first partial structure (3) of the printed pattern (2), printing a second partial structure (3) of the printed pattern (2) at a distance from the first printed structure (3) and treating at least one region (7) between the first printed structure (3) and the second printed structure (3), and the irradiating the region (7) between the first printed structure (3) and the second printed structure (3) with electromagnetic waves and/or soundwaves.
Digital thermal binder and powder printing
A method of forming a digital print on a surface by applying powder of dry ink including colourants on the surface, bonding a part of the dry ink powder to the surface by a digital heating print head such that the digital print is formed by the bonded dry ink colourants and removing non-bonded dry ink from the surface.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING MICROSTRUCTURE ARRAYS OF POLYSTYRENE-GRAPHENE NANOCOMPOSITES
A device for processing microstructure arrays of polystyrene-graphene nanocomposites, including a laser generator, a vacuum chamber, an object stage, an ultraviolet filter and a gas flow control unit. The object stage is detachably fixed to a bottom of the vacuum chamber with a passage that can be opened or closed. The ultraviolet filter is provided in the vacuum chamber. A laser light emitted by the laser generator arrives at the object stage through the ultraviolet filter. The object stage is configured to place a sample to be processed. The gas flow control unit is communicated with the vacuum chamber and is configured to control the flow of the gas entering the vacuum chamber. The vacuum chamber is fixed on a three-axis precision positioning platform via a vacuum chamber clamp. The device disclosed herein aims to solve the existing difficulty in processing microstructure arrays of polystyrene-graphene nanocomposites.
Sealing mass based on mercapto-terminated base polymer/epoxy compound and method for hardening by means of a photolatent catalyst
The present invention relates to a sealing compound for coating a substrate, which is a mixture of a predominantly uncured base mass and a curing agent containing at least one epoxy composition, wherein the base mass contains a mercapto-terminated base polymer based on polyether, polythioether, polythioethersulfide, polysulfide, copolymers thereof and/or mixtures thereof, wherein the base mass, the curing agent or both contain at least one photoinitiator based on a sterically hindered nitrogen-containing organic base, and, through the effects of high-energy actinic radiation, the at least one photoinitiator dissociates at least one radical per molecule based on a nitrogen-containing organic base, from which a nitrogen-containing organic base having a pKa value of the conjugated acid in the region of 6 to 30 is formed, which acts as an active catalyst for the curing of the base mass. The present invention also relates to a corresponding method for coating a substrate with a sealing compound.
