A track set for a toy vehicle includes a track portion and an actuatable mechanism. The track portion defines a track path between a first end of the track portion and a second end of the track portion. The actuatable mechanism attempts to capture a toy vehicle as the toy vehicle moves along the track path, between the first end and the second end, in response to select triggerings generated by the toy vehicle traversing the track path. The actuatable mechanism removes the toy vehicle from the track portion when the actuatable mechanism captures the toy vehicle. The actuatable mechanism may include a carriage that captures the toy vehicle. The carriage is initially disposed in a rest position that is off-path from the track path and is selectively movable, along a carriage pathway, to an actuated position that is also off-path from the track path.

MOUNTED PLATFORM ASSEMBLY

The present invention describes a platform assembly having a centre clamp (2) formed from at least two clamp segments (25), a platform (1) formed from multiple platform segments (15) fixed together and a plurality of brackets (6) mounted into the centre clamp (2) at one end and supporting the platform (1) at the other end. The centre clamp (2) is formed from at least two clamp segments (25), which are joined together around a post or trunk (70) and once joined together, the hole in the centre of the clamp (2) has clearance around the post or trunk (70), so that the clamp (2) can be used on multiple diameters. The clamp (2) includes adjustment means (5, U, L) that can be operated to adjust the pitch and roll of the platform (1, 50) to achieve its horizontal position before the clamp (2) is secured to the trunk or post (70) to fix this position.

A marble run apparatus kit includes a plurality of physically interconnectable marble run modules, each module configured to retain a marble and guide the travel of the marble through the module. The plurality of marble run modules includes at least a first controllable module. The first controllable module includes a baffle, an actuator, and a wireless receiver. The baffle is disposed in the module, and has a first position and a second position. The baffle is configured to direct the marble within the module in different directions based on whether the baffle is in the first position or the second position. The actuator is supported on the module, and receives a first control signal. The actuator changes the position of the baffle responsive to receiving the first control signal. The wireless receiver provides the first control signal to the actuator upon receiving a first wireless control signal.

Toy vehicle playset with rotating base

A toy vehicle playset includes a base, a platform, and a launcher. The base is configured to support the platform on a support surface, where the platform is rotatably coupled to the base and configured to rotate about a vertical axis with respect to the base. The launcher is coupled to the base via a launch track. The platform includes at least one track disposed within the top surface of the platform, at least one ramp extending upwardly from the top surface of the platform, and at least one overhead track extending from the ramp over the top surface of the platform. The at least one track, at least one ramp, and at least one overhead track form a continuous track on the platform. The launcher is configured to launch a toy vehicle onto the continuous track of the platform as the platform rotates about the vertical axis.

Autonomous, gravity-assisted motorized racer configured to travel through non-straight tube segments

A vehicle configured to move through a network of interconnected tubes includes a body, a motor, a motorized wheel, a biasing assembly, and a first element. The motorized wheel directly engages an inner surface of the tubes. The biasing assembly causes the motorized wheel to maintain continuous contact with the inner surface of the tubes during operation. A waist of the vehicle is constrained by an inner diameter (D) of the curved tube, a radius of curvature (R) of the curved tube, and a length (L) of the wheelbase of the vehicle. The waist of the body is sized such that the vehicle can freely move within any of the tubes without getting stuck therein.
