Water-, oil- and grease-resistant multilayer coating for paper-based substrate and uses thereof
The present invention relates to a water-, oil- and grease-resistant multilayer coating for a paper-based substrate comprising a water-based inner primer coating, an intermediate polymeric extrusion coating, and a water-based top barrier coating, wherein a surface of the paper-based substrate coated therewith has water, oil and grease barrier properties, and wherein the paper-based substrate coated therewith is repulpable and recyclable.
METHOD FOR TREATING SURFACE OF FLOOR
The disclosure belongs to the technical field of floor preparation, and provides a method for treating a surface of a floor. Compared with traditional methods for preparing floor, in the method according to the disclosure, an embossing is performed not directly after laminating, but after applying a wear-resistant primer, and a topcoat is then applied. Therefore, the resulting embossed floor has a clear texture. Further, the composition of the wear-resistant primer could be optimized, such that the resulting embossed floor exhibits excellent wear resistance and hardness.
PLASMA RESISTANT ARC PREVENTATIVE COATINGS FOR MANUFACTURING EQUPIMENT COMPONENTS
A method includes depositing a first layer of a first material onto a surface of a chamber component of a processing chamber. The first material comprises a polymer, the polymer having a dielectric strength of at least 40 MV/m. The method further includes depositing a second layer of a second material onto the first layer. The second material comprises a first ceramic material impregnated into the first polymer or a second polymer. The method further includes depositing a third layer. The third layer is of a third material. The third material includes the first ceramic material or a second ceramic material. The third material does not adhere to the first polymer or the second polymer. The third material does adhere to the first ceramic material or the second ceramic material of the second layer.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TRANSLUCENT OR TRANSPARENT VEHICLE PART
A method for manufacturing a vehicle part, including the steps of applying a paint layer on a first face of a transparent or translucent part, applying a varnish layer on the paint layer, partially irradiating the paint layer and the varnish layer with laser radiation so as to etch the paint layer and the varnish layer, and overmolding a semi-transparent film on a second face of the transparent or translucent part opposite the first face.
ADHESIVE GEL NAIL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Provided is an adhesive gel nail which includes a base film, an adhesive layer on the base film, a printed layer on the adhesive layer, an UV gel coating layer on the printed layer, an LED gel coating layer on the UV gel coating layer, and a highpoint glossy-top coating layer on the LED gel coating layer, and the highpoint glossy-top coating layer is formed by applying and drying a glossy-top coating solution in which a monomer, an oligomer, a cellulose, and a long-wavelength initiator are mixed.
MULTI-LAYERED ARTICLE
The present invention relates to a multi-layered article comprising a metal part and a coating, having outstanding adhesion between said coating and said metal part, even in severe environment conditions, such as marine environment, high pressure and high temperature.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR LAYER-BY-LAYER DEPOSITION
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to prepare an aircraft surface, including depositing a first solution on a substrate on the aircraft surface, the substrate having a first charge, the first solution having a second charge opposite the first charge, the first solution including a carrier fluid, removing a first amount of the first solution deposited on the substrate to form a first layer on the substrate, depositing a second solution on the first layer, the second solution having the first charge, the second solution including the carrier fluid, and removing a second amount of the second solution deposited on the first layer to form a second layer on the first layer to prepare the aircraft surface.
Paper substrate diagnostic apparatus and related methods and systems
Example paper substrate diagnostic apparatus and related methods and systems are disclosed herein. An example apparatus includes a hydrophobic substrate having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The apparatus includes a detection zone on a first surface of the substrate, the detection zone defining an area to sense an analyte in a sample, the detection zone comprising a first electrode and a second electrode disposed on the first surface of the substrate and a layer of hydrophilic ink disposed on the two electrodes and an area between the first and second electrodes. The apparatus also includes a channel comprising hydrophilic ink disposed on the first surface of the substrate, the channel having an inlet section adjacent the first end of the substrate, a middle section, and an outlet section in contact with the layer of hydrophilic ink. The channel is to transfer a fluid sample from the inlet section to the layer of hydrophilic ink.
Method and Apparatus for Painting
A method for painting a skin component of a vehicle includes conveying the skin component along a conveying direction. The method further includes controlling first and second painting robots by a control installation such that a first spraying tool of the first painting robot applies a first paint of a first color in a first sub-region and a second spraying tool of the second painting robot applies a second paint of a second color in a second sub-region, where in an overlap region within which the first sub-region overlaps the second sub-region, the first paint is applied over the second paint such that a quantity of the first paint is kept constant perpendicular to a painting direction and is reduced along the painting direction such that a color gradient from the first color to the second color is formed in the overlap region.
NOVEL COMPOSITION FOR A ROOFING MATERIAL AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A roofing material composition and a method of applying that roofing material composition using specific angles to deflect infra-red rays and provide aesthetically nice finish is disclosed. The first coat of the roofing material is light in color and the second color may be a light or a dark color. The rough surface is prepared using specific filler, resin and paint to deflect infra-red rays and reduce heating inside a building.
