Disc for use in disc screen
A disc for use in a disc screen is disclosed. The disc has a longitudinal axis and includes a hub extending a length along the longitudinal axis. The longitudinal axis is coaxial with the center of the hub and the hub further includes a hub surface, a major axis defined by a first cross section taken perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and through the center of the hub at and a minor axis defined by a second cross section taken perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and through the center of the hub. The first cross section is longer than the second cross section, and the first cross section is substantially orthogonal to the second cross section. A helical ridge structure extends away from hub surface and twists at least 360 degrees about the longitudinal axis for the length.
Apparatus for selecting horticultural products
An apparatus for selecting horticultural products includes an intake section leading to at least one passage lane defined by a pair of mutually close stems rotatably supported by a support and movement assembly and are interposed longitudinally between the intake section and a discharge section. between the pair of stems, kept inclined downward from the intake section to the discharge section, a longitudinal slot is disposed that can be crossed exclusively by debris and horticultural products having dimensions that are smaller than the width of the slot. The assembly includes a drive unit meshing with an end portion of each stem proximate to the intake section and elements for the free support of an end portion of each stem proximate to the discharge section.
EDDY CURRENT SYSTEM FOR WORKPIECE INSPECTION
A workpiece handling system for inspection of workpieces having an elongated cylindrical segment with an enlarged feature such as a threaded fastener. A pair of rollers is inclined with respect to horizontal, and having cylindrical surfaces separated by a gap and rotated about parallel axes, with upwardly presented end surfaces. A drive arrangement rotates the rollers. A slide mechanism enables the rollers to be set at a first and second separation gaps. A workpiece transfer mechanism loads the workpiece onto the rollers, rotation of the rollers set at the first separation gap causes the workpieces to rotate. A sensor probe is positioned in close proximity to the workpiece head as the workpiece is rotated. A workpiece receiving system is provided for handling the workpieces when the rollers are set to the separation second gap, allowing the workpiece to fall under gravity between the rollers.
GRIZZLY APPARATUS AND BOTTOM ASH DISCHARGE SYSTEM
A grizzly apparatus includes a plurality of grizzly bars arranged at predetermined intervals in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction which is an extension direction of center axes of the grizzly bars. Each of the plurality of grizzly bars is rotatable in a direction opposite to a direction of rotation of its adjacent grizzly bar so that a slit through which a screening target object passes and a gap through which the screening target object does not pass alternately emerge, between adjacent grizzly bars. The guide includes an outer member forming its outer shape, and has at least one guide surface inclined with respect to the second direction in such a way that the guide surface descends as the guide surface advances in the second direction toward the slit to guide the screening target object having fallen onto the guide to the slit.
Flexible and adjustable roller scrapers
A flexible scraper for a grader or other solid object processing system. The flexible scraper is adjustably mounted to a frame and contacts a rotating roller to clean the rotating roller or prevent components from wrapping around the roller, as well as maintain products within designated lanes. Connectors allow insertion and release of the scraper into and from the frame. The flexible scraper is inserted into slots in the frame and held against the rotating roller by gravity.
Screening Apparatus
The present invention relates to a screen for accepting waste material, the waste material comprising fines and oversize material, wherein the screen comprises: a trough with a top opening, a base opening for discharging the fines material and an oversize material outlet for discharging the oversize material; driven elongate rotating members for causing movement of the waste material, wherein each rotating member comprises a shaft and a plurality of mutually parallel blades, wherein each blade independently has a plurality of radial protrusions which act on the material during the movement thereof, wherein for one or more blades on each shaft independently, at least one of the radial protrusions on the or each blade is an extended radial protrusion, wherein the material to be screened is introduced at one end of the shafts and expelled at the other end, characterised in that each elongate rotating member independently is held and rotatably mounted at both ends, wherein the driven elongate rotating members comprise a first plurality of driven elongate rotating members disposed in a first arc along one side and along at least a portion of the base of the trough for causing circular or helical flow of the waste material and a second plurality of driven elongate rotating members disposed in a second arc along the other side of the trough and along at least a portion of the base of the trough for causing circular or helical flow of the waste material, wherein, for each plurality of driven elongate rotating members, at least one elongate rotating member runs at a different speed to the other elongate rotating members, and wherein the speed of the elongate rotating members does not decrease towards the top opening of the trough.
