ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR GRADING SYSTEMS
An apparatus and method for grading sensitive products. The apparatus and method treat the objects to be graded gently and are accurate and may be constructed so as to handle extremely large quantities. The grading device has grading channels that are wider at the outlet than at the intake. The belt machine draws the objects forward between two inclined belts which form the channel An adjusting device is implemented perpendicular underneath the belts of the apparatus having alternatively arranged support members and adjusting members arranged on an adjusting screwing shaft. Both components have screwing sections which regulate an increase or a decrease in the gap between the support members when the adjusting screwing shaft is rotated.
Sorting table for separating fruits from foreign bodies
A sorting table for separating fruits from foreign bodies has at least one set of rollers revolvingly mounted in a frame. Each roller has a shaft with an axis orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the frame. The sorting table has adjustment means intended to adjust the distance between the axes of rotation of the rollers according to the dimensions of the fruits to be selected.
SIEVING DEVICES FOR PUPAE SEPARATION
A sieving device is described. The sieving device includes an adjustable sieve surface that includes a first sieve surface and a second sieve surface. Openings are formed in each of the first sieve surface and the second sieve surface so as to define a shared pathways extending through the adjustable sieve surface. The shared pathways are defined by a length dimension that is greater than a width dimension. The width dimension can correspond to a cephalothorax width of an insect.
Method and sieve system for screening material
A sieve system includes a sieve for screening material by selectively passing first particles and not passing second particles of the material based on respective dimensions of the particles relative to dimensions of screening apertures in the sieve. A holding container feeds material to the sieve and a fines container receives the first particles screened by the sieve. A first fines container load is measured at a first time, and a second fines container load is measured at a second time. A fines rate is determined by a rate of change of the fines container load based on the measured first and second fines container loads and the first and second times. An operating condition of the sieve system is based on the fines rate and may provide an indication that the operation of the sieve, another component, or the sieve system as a whole is acceptable or unacceptable.
Turf infill separation system and method for separating a dry or dried infill
A separation system suitable for separating a dry or dried infill preferably including rubber and/or sand, into a plurality of fractions, the separation system includes a first screening means configured to receive a first set of separation screens said set of separation screens being configured to separate infill into a first plurality of fractions, wherein the separation system further includes a pre-analysis unit, a database and a processing unit configured to calculate correlation coefficients and/or deviation values between the first set of composition values and a plurality of second sets of composition values of the database; and a method for separating a dry or dried infill having a composition of materials, preferably including rubber and sand, into a plurality of fractions.
