Side Tensioning System for Retaining Screen Media in a Vibrating-Type Screening Machine
The present invention relates to side tensioning assemblies for retaining screen media to the side plates of a vibrating-type screening machine. The side tensioning assembly includes a tensioning rail and at least one angle box mountable to a side plate. At least one bolt assembly provided for fastening the tensioning rail to the side plate and to angle box. Bolt assembly is provided with is a shoulder bolt that is secured to a terminal end of the bolt. The angle box includes an aperture sized to allow the bolt assembly passage therethrough, and a movable plate with a cutout. The cutout is sized larger than the bolt but smaller than a nut. The movable plate has a bolt-securing position and a bolt-releasing position to allow access to the aperture in the angle box such that the bolt assembly can be detached from the angle box without being disassembled.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND METHODS FOR SECURING SCREEN ASSEMBLIES
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for systems, apparatuses, and methods of securing screen assemblies. Embodiments include a system having a compression assembly with a compression pin and a pin assembly having a pin. The compression assembly may be attached to a first wall member of a vibratory screening machine and the pin assembly may be attached to a second wall member of the vibratory screening machine opposite the first wall member such that the compression assembly is configured to assert a force against a first side portion of a screen assembly and drive a second side portion of the screen assembly against the pin of the pin assembly. The pin assembly may include a pin that is internally or externally mounted and that is adjustable and/or replaceable.
Injection molded screening apparatuses and methods
Screening members, screening assemblies, methods for fabricating screening members and assemblies and methods for screening materials are provided for vibratory screening machines that incorporate the use of injection molded materials. Use of injection molded screen elements provide, inter alia, for: varying screening surface configurations; fast and relatively simple screen assembly fabrication; and a combination of outstanding screen assembly mechanical and electrical properties, including toughness, wear and chemical resistance. Embodiments of the present invention use a thermoplastic injection molded material.
Shaker screens for shale shakers
This disclosure discloses a shaker screen. The shaker screen comprises a frame and at least one screen layer supported by the frame for sieving materials. The frame comprises a rectangular outer support structure, at least one lateral inner support member, and at least one longitudinal inner support member. The lateral inner support member comprises an aperture, and the longitudinal inner support member comprises a groove on a side of the longitudinal inner support member. The lateral inner support member is engaged with the longitudinal inner support member by engaging the aperture on the lateral inner support member and the groove on the longitudinal inner support member.
PARTIALLY-UNLOUVERED SIEVE MECHANISM
An exemplary sieve mechanism is configured for separating grain from chaff. The sieve mechanism generally includes a frame and a louvered region including a plurality of louvers mounted to the frame. The sieve mechanism further includes and an unlouvered region lacking louvers such that a gap is defined adjacent the louvered region.
Method and apparatuses for screening
Methods and apparatuses for screening are provided. Embodiments include a screen basket apparatus for screening material, comprising a grid frame having a plurality of openings arranged in a lattice and a plurality of screening cartridge assemblies affixed to the grid frame to cover the respective openings of the grid frame. The screening cartridge assembly includes a case and a screen assembly fitted into the case, and may be affixed to a set of transversal member of the grid frame. The case may be formed of a single injection molded piece integrally formed by injection molding one of a polyurethane or a thermoset polymer. The screening elements together form a generally continuous screening surface across the exterior of the grid frame, which reduces blinding and is resistant to wear and tear.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMBINING MODULAR REPAIR PLUGS
An apparatus and methods secure modular repair plugs to one another to repair different sized cells of a screen. A modular repair plug is configured to attach to another modular repair plug to create an extended modular repair plug. The modular repair plug can fit within a first, smaller cell, and the extended modular repair plug can fit within a larger second cell.
SCREENING MEDIA
Screening media for screening material includes a main body and a plurality of openings extending through the main body between a contact face and back face. The openings are of a shape of a convex and non-regular polygon, and are arranged in an orientation such that a line through the most proximal vertex of the polygon and parallel to a defined material flow direction divides the most proximal interior angle of the polygon. Such a configuration allows the openings to not easily get pegged and to improve screening performance.
DISC SCREEN FOR SEPARATING SOLID MATERIALS
Disc screen for separating solid residues, which includes multiple parallel rotation shafts, each of which carries a plurality of discs fixed thereto. In addition, the disc screen includes multiple shaped rings, which are each constituted by multiple sectors removably mounted around the rotation shafts, and they are placed between the discs in order to simply and easily vary the screening section. The external edge of each shaped ring is provided with thrust sections, which are adapted to intercept the material to be screened in order to subject the latter to a greater stress, which facilitates a more efficient separation of the materials, and push upward components of light and filamentous material so as to prevent possible entangling and obstructions of such materials at the rotation shafts.
