Test bottle protocol method
In the method for checking a container inspection system with at least two detection devices, the at least two detection devices are configured to check a first and a second area of the containers to be inspected. A test container is fed to the container inspection system. The test container has a test feature in a first area to be inspected and a marking in a second area to be inspected, which is read by one of the detection devices and with which the test container can be identified as a test container. Also disclosed is a test container for use in connection with the disclosed method.
Dual laser closure scan and method of using the same
A system of measuring a top surface of a closure to determine if the closure is properly affixed to a container. Multiple paths of measurements may be collected and analyzed. In various analysis paradigms, measurements on a given path are separated into different sets, such as a leading set that generally includes the first third of measurements, a trailing set that includes the trailing set of measurements, and a middle set that includes the middle third of measurements. Several methods of analysis may be based on a presumption that a properly affixed closure is symmetrical or near symmetrical.
Installation and method for sorting containers
An installation for sorting containers, in particular medicine bottles, including a star wheel having a multiplicity of pockets. The pockets each accommodate a container, and therefore the container can be transported by virtue of the star wheel being rotated. The installation includes a first and a second exit, wherein the containers can be fed either to the first exit or to the second exit by retracting and extending of a first diverter and a second diverter, which are located opposite one another on a transporting path. The first and the second diverters are designed to be capable of extending and retracting with respect to a base region of the transporting path.
Method and system for determining the manufacture of a glass container with its mold number
The present invention relates to a method and system for determining the manufacture of a glass container with its mold number. The method consists of marking the molds according to a system of pre-established coordinates based on a Fibonacci system or sinusoidal system, for identifying a mold number with the container that has been formed in that mould. Control means are programmed with the sinusoidal or Fibonacci coordinate system according to various coordinate points of each mold. The containers are formed with a bead or protuberance located at the bottom of each container according to the pre-established coordinate system. The recently formed containers are transported on a conveyor belt. Optical means are used to inspect the containers to identify, by means of the position of the bead or protuberance, the mold number related to the container.
OBJECT RECOGNITION DEVICE AND OBJECT PROCESSING APPARATUS
An object recognition device includes an illuminator configured to illuminate an object, an imager configured to generate an image of the object such that overexposure occurs in the image, and circuitry configured to calculate a position of the object based on the image.
CONTAINER TRANSPORT DEVICE
A container transport device (100) including: a container holder equipped conveyor belt (1) provided along periphery thereof with plural holders (5) configured to hold containers (101); a container loading mechanism (10) configured to load the containers (101) to the holders (5); an inspection rotor (20) configured to inspect whether the containers (101) have a defect or not while conveying the containers (101) in a circumferential direction; a star wheel (30) configured to transfer the containers (101) from the container holder equipped conveyor belt (1) to the inspection rotor (20); a container sorting mechanism (40) configured to sort the containers (101) based on inspection results. The container holder equipped conveyor belt (1) is arranged to enter an inside of the inspection rotor (20).
An Apparatus and Method for Imaging Containers
A control unit is disclosed to control an imaging unit to perform imaging of a tray/container. The control unit can cause the performance of actions on the container using automated machines and/or directing humans to perform an action. For example, the presence of contamination in a container can be detected based on an image of the container captured by an imaging unit. The control unit can receive an image of the container from the imaging unit, determine whether the container is contaminated, and direct the container to a cleaning unit. Moreover, the control unit can detect a product based on an image of the product, determine an identity of the product based on the received image, and command an indicating unit to indicate a failure to determine the identity of the product.

INSTALLATON AND METHOD FOR SORTING CONTAINERS
An installation for sorting containers, in particular medicine bottles, comprising a star wheel having a multiplicity of pockets. The pockets each accommodate a container, and therefore the latter can be transported by virtue of the star wheel being rotated. The installation comprises a first and a second exit, wherein the containers can be fed either to the first exit or to the second exit by the retracting and extending action of a first diverter and a second diverter, which are located opposite one another on a transporting path. The first and the second diverters are designed to be capable of extending and retracting with respect to a base region of the transporting path.
