DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SELECTING PACKS BEING MOVED AT A HIGH SPEED
An apparatus for sorting containers, in particular, beverage containers, may comprise at least one conveyor belt for transporting a multitude of containers, an identification device for identifying a decor on each container conveyed on the conveyor belt, wherein selection data can be generated by the identification device depending on the respective decor present on a specifically detected container, and a selection device for repositioning individual containers on the conveyor belt depending on the respectively identified decor. The selection device forms a continuous track and has shifting means for shifting the identified containers. The continuous track extends along the conveyor belt in a selection region, and the individual shifting means in the selection region can be accelerated to the same speed as the conveyor belt by means of a transport device, thereby being adjacent to a specific and previously identified container.
Testing device and method for testing the tightness of containers
The invention relates to a testing device for testing the tightness of containers (2), comprising a supply unit (3) for supplying the containers (2), a testing unit (4) for testing the tightness of the containers (2), a diverting unit (5) for diverting tested tight containers (2), and a discharge unit (6) for discharging containers (2) tested to be untight in the testing unit (2). The testing unit (4) has at least one individual testing chamber (42) for testing individual containers and at least one multiple testing chamber (41) for receiving a plurality of containers in order to simultaneously test multiple containers (2). The testing device also comprises a control unit (10) which is designed to supply possibly untight containers (2) which have been discharged by means of the discharge unit (6) from a multiple testing chamber (41) individually back into an individual testing chamber (42) in order to carry out an individual test of said containers.
SYSTEM FOR SORTING OBJECTS
A system for sorting objects is provided. For instance, the system includes a first and second sensor for observing the objects before and after sorting and a controller having an action agent module and a learning agent module. The controller updates, by the learning agent module, a policy matrix after sorting previously sorted objects. The policy matrix includes state data of the previously sorted objects including sensor data, an action performed by the sorting actuator, and a sorting score. The controller actuates the sorting actuator, calculates a specific sorting score based on a specific action performed by the sorting actuator, and updates the policy matrix to create an updated policy matrix including updated sorting rules. The updated policy matrix is used in sorting subsequent objects. In another example, the controller loads a policy matrix that was determined incrementally during sorting of previously sorted objects.
System and method for sorting objects
A system for sorting objects is provided. For instance, the system includes a first sensor, a sorting actuator, a second sensor and a controller. The first sensor observes the objects. The sorting actuator sorts the objects. The second sensor observers the sorted objects. The sorting actuator may be actuated by the controller using sorting rules, historical system data and observations of the objects. The sorting rules may be updated by the controller using observations of the sorted objects. In another aspect, a method is provided. The objects are observed. The objects are sorted using sorting rules, historical system data and observations of the objects. The sorted objects are observed. The sorting rules are updated using the observations of the sorted objects.
Apparatus for inspecting pharmaceutical containers
An apparatus for inspecting a pharmaceutical cylindrical container made of glass or polymer is provided. The apparatus includes an inspection area, a handling device, and a friction wheel. The handling device has a first holder configured to hold a lateral surface of the pharmaceutical cylindrical container. The first holder includes a first support wheel and a second support wheel. The handling device moves such that the pharmaceutical cylindrical container is transferred from a first transfer position to the inspection area and from the inspection area to a second transfer position. The first holder and/or the friction wheel bring the pharmaceutical cylindrical container into contact with the friction wheel such that the pharmaceutical cylindrical container is rotated around a container longitudinal axis by rotating the first and second support wheels and/or by rotating the friction wheel.
Capsule Filler
There is described apparatus for filling a material into a receptacle, said apparatus comprising: (i) a material; (ii) a receptacle handling unit comprising a pair of axially aligned bushes for collecting a receptacle; and (iii) a bush pair handling system comprising: (a) a means for separating the receptacle into a receptacle body and a receptacle closure; (b) means for temporarily attaching and detaching the one or both of the bushes from the bush pair handling system; (c) means for transporting the receptacle body to the filling station and aligning the receptacle body with a filler nozzle at the filling station; (d) means for transporting the filled receptacle body from the filling station to a closure unit for refitting the receptacle closure; and e) means for segregating compliant receptacles from non-compliant receptacles.
Radio frequency identification tag application and encoding device
A radio frequency identification (RFID) encoding device can comprise an applicator, an RFID reader with an antenna, and a housing having a receptacle. The receptacle can be configured to receive a vial. The applicator can be configured to apply an RFID tag to the vial. The RFID reader can have at least one antenna. The antenna can be configured to communicate with the RFID tag. The device can be configured to communicate with a host computer.
ESTIMATION OF CHEMICAL PROCESS OUTPUTS BY SINGLE OBJECT FEEDSTOCK HYPERSPECTRAL IMAGING
An intermediate data set can be generated based on an image of a set of objects, where each of the set of objects includes a plastic. A predicted chemometric property can be generated by inputting the intermediate data set to a machine-learning model. The chemometric property can be of a physical output pyrolysis oil produced by performing a pyrolysis processing of the set of objects using a pyrolysis reactor. A result associated with the set of objects can be generated, where the result is based on or includes the predicted chemometric property.
