The system (10) includes a feed conveyor belt (11) for delivering washware (9a, 9b, 9c) to loading regions of the at least one conveyor dishwasher (1, 1′). The system (10) further includes a sorting arrangement for sorting the washware (9a, 9b, 9c) delivered to the loading regions of the at least one conveyor dishwasher (1, 1′) via the feed conveyor belt (11) according to previously defined or definable washware groups. The sorting arrangement is associated with at least one loading arrangement (13a, 13b, 13c) for automatically loading the different conveying tracks of the at least one conveyor dishwasher (1, 1′) with washware (9a, 9b, 9c) of one of the previously defined or definable washware groups.

Conveyed article sorting device

A conveyed article sorting device is provided, which has: a conveyor which conveys articles; a track configured such that the articles conveyed by the conveyor can be transferred onto the track from the conveyor; and a rotary gate which can come into contact with the articles on the conveyor; wherein, when an article to be sampled is conveyed by the conveyor, the rotary gate moves the article to be sampled from the conveyor onto the track.

System for assembling cards in trays

A system for assembling cards in trays includes a pack stacker that stacks cards, a pack separator, a tray for receiving cards, and a processor. The processor is programmed to determine a number of cards in the tray, operate the pack stacker to assemble a plurality of cards into a stack, determine whether the plurality of cards can be accommodated in the tray together with the number of cards and, if so, transfer the stack to the tray. The processor is also programmed to operate the pack separator to separate the stack of cards into a sub-stack if the processor determines that the plurality of cards cannot be accommodated in the tray together with the number of cards wherein the sub-stack has less than the plurality of cards and transfer the sub-stack to the tray.

High-speed method and system for inspecting and sorting a stream of unidentified mixed parts

A high-speed method and system for inspecting and sorting a stream of unidentified mixed parts are provided. The system includes a pair of inspection stations each of which includes a vision-based robotic subsystem including a robot configured to pick up a self-supporting part and place the part on a fixtureless rotary stage. A second subsystem optically measures a profile and features of the part during part rotation. A processor is operable to compare the profile and features of the part with the profile and corresponding features of stored templates to identify a matching template. A mechanism including a part sorter directs unidentified parts and parts having an unacceptable geometric dimension or defect to a reject part area and directs identified parts having acceptable geometrical dimensions and no significant defects to good part areas.

The present application discloses a system, a method, and a computer system for correlating information to facilitate automated sortation. The method includes (i) receiving, by one or more processors, a first optical sensor data comprising a first element of routing data required to route an item but not a second element of routing data required, in addition to the first element, to route the item, (ii) obtaining the second element of routing data from a second optical sensor data, and (iii) causing the item to be routed based at least in part on the first element of routing data and the second element of routing data.

Method for recovering a posteriori information about the operation of a plant for automatic classification and sorting of fruit

A method for recovering a posteriori information about the operation of a plant for automatic classification and sorting of fruit, wherein digital images of a reference piece of fruit previously processed by means of the plant are processed so as to identify its first group of individualizing features, which are then compared with each of a series of second groups of individualizing features each corresponding to a different piece of fruit processed by the plant, in order to establish a match; then, there is extraction from an electronic database of operating information which corresponds to information used or generated by the plant for automatic classification and sorting for classification of the relative processed piece of fruit and/or to information about sorting of the relative piece of fruit processed by the plant for automatic classification and sorting, where in the electronic database the operating information is associated with the second group of individualizing features for which during the comparison step the match with the first group of individualizing features has been established.

Method for sorting cargo using the automated guided vehicle

A method of sorting cargo using an automated guided vehicle is provided. The method of sorting cargo includes: recognizing the pieces of cargo; assigning a location of a carrier pocket into which the recognized cargo is loaded among the plurality of carrier pockets in the automated guided vehicle and a location of the destination chute from which the carrier pocket discharges the cargo; loading the cargo into the location of the assigned carrier pocket; for consecutively supplied pieces of cargo thereafter, repeatedly performing identifier information recognition of the cargo, location assignment, and cargo loading sequentially; sequentially discharging the pieces of cargo to the locations of the assigned destination chutes by allowing the automated guided vehicle into which all pieces of cargo are loaded to start and move along a movement path; and returning the automated guided vehicle after the automated guided vehicle has finished discharging.

Singulation of items

A singulation device can singulate items. The items can be received onto a singulation conveyor. A portion of the items can be retained on the singulation conveyor by a retaining ledge. The portion of the items not retained on the singulation conveyor can fall onto a return conveyor. The singulation conveyor can transport the retained items along the length of the ledge. During conveyance, some of the items can fall off of the singulation conveyor onto the return conveyor.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SINGULATING PARTICLES IN A STREAM
20230356265 · 2023-11-09 ·

Particles are sorted into paths based on a measurable parameter by forming them into a stream in at least one duct carried on a body rotating around an axis where the duct is shaped so that the particles are accelerated to cause the particles separated into the duct to be aligned one after another in a row in the duct. The parameter of the particles are measured in the aligned stream one after the other and the particles are directed into one of a plurality of paths as determined by the measurement. In one arrangement the body comprises a disk member having a front face facing a supply conduit and the duct lies in a radial plane of the disk member. In one arrangement the measurement of the parameter is carried out by one or more measurement devices either carried on the disk or outside the edge of the disk.
