Automated Sorting and Packing System
An automated sorting and packing system is described. In an example implementation, the system may include a transfer station that transfers an item into a shipping carton, one or more conveyors that convey the item and/or carton to a transfer station, a scanner that scans the item, and a processor communicatively coupled with the scanner and the one or more conveyors. According to some implementations, the system may perform operations including determining a carton identifier associated with a carton based on an order, assigning a transfer station to the order and the carton identifier based on scan data identifying an item, transporting the item to the transfer station using a conveyor, and transferring the item from the conveyor to a carton associated with the carton identifier using the transfer station.
Autonomous data collection and system control for material recovery facilities
The present disclosure provides methods and systems for autonomous data collection and system control of a material recovery facility (MRF). A control system receives data from set of sensors that reflect a status of the MRF. The control system determines an operating status of various MRF components (e.g., material handling units (MHUs), sensors, and/or other elements) and/or a composition of a waste stream being processed by the MRF. The control system controls MHU(s) based on the data to optimize the recovery and/or purity of recoverable materials from the waste stream. The control system may rearranging MHUs within the MRF and/or re-tasking individual MHUs to perform different handling functions. Machine learning (ML) and/or artificial intelligence (AI) mechanisms can be used to optimize the operation of the MRF in an autonomous fashion. Other aspects are also disclosed.
Fruit quality inspecting and sorting appliance
Provided is a fruit quality inspecting and sorting appliance. The fruit quality inspecting and sorting appliance includes: a conveying module; a weighing module, which cooperates with the conveying module to convey weighed fruits through the conveying module; an internal quality inspection module, which cooperates with the conveying module and performs an internal quality inspection to the weighed fruits; an external quality inspection module, which cooperates with the conveying module and performs an external quality inspection to the fruits after the internal quality inspection; a sorting module, which cooperates with the conveying module, and sorts the fruits passing through the weighing module, the internal quality inspection module and the external quality inspection module; and a control module electrically connected with the conveying module, the weighing module, the internal quality inspection module, the external quality inspection module and the sorting module.
Article discharge system
An article discharge system includes a placement unit in which the article group is placed, plural grippers, a movable member, a robot that moves the movable member, weight acquisition units, and a control unit. The plural grippers grip some articles with gripping member. The plural grippers are attached to the movable member. The weight acquisition units acquire weight values of the articles that each of the grippers grips. The control unit moves the movable member, brings the plural grippers closer to the placement unit, causes the plural grippers to grip some of the articles of the article group placed in the placement unit, and, based on the result of a combination calculation using the weight values of the articles that each of the grippers grips and which the weight acquisition units have acquired, causes predetermined grippers among the plural grippers to release the articles and thereby discharge the articles.
Systems and methods for providing for the processing of objects in vehicles
An object processing system within a trailer for a tracker trailer is disclosed. The object processing system includes an input area of the trailer at which objects to be processed may be presented, a perception system for providing perception data regarding objects to be processed, and a primary transport system for providing transport of each object in one of at least two primary transport directions within the trailer based on the perception data.
System for Assembling Cards in Trays
A system for assembling cards in trays includes a pack stacker that stacks cards, a pack separator, a tray for receiving cards, and a processor. The processor is programmed to determine a number of cards in the tray, operate the pack stacker to assemble a plurality of cards into a stack, determine whether the plurality of cards can be accommodated in the tray together with the number of cards and, if so, transfer the stack to the tray. The processor is also programmed to operate the pack separator to separate the stack of cards into a sub-stack if the processor determines that the plurality of cards cannot be accommodated in the tray together with the number of cards wherein the sub-stack has less than the plurality of cards and transfer the sub-stack to the tray.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING FOR THE PROCESSING OF OBJECTS IN VEHICLES
An object processing system within a trailer for a tracker trailer is discloses. The object processing system includes an input area of the trailer at which objects to be processed may be presented, a perception system for providing perception data regarding objects to be processed, and a primary transport system for providing transport of each object in one of at least two primary transport directions within the trailer based on the perception data.
Composition with enhanced luminescence
A composition for photoluminescence of the chemical formula M.sub.2(1-y-z)Yb.sub.2yRem.sub.2zADO.sub.5-xF.sub.2x, a method for producing said composition, and uses of said composition are provided.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF FEEDING GROUPS OF PRODUCTS TO A PROCESSING UNIT
A method and system of feeding groups of products to a processing unit includes: a tray with a plurality of housings to receive one single product; a conveyor to move the tray along a feeding path; a transfer device to transfer a group of products from respective housings to the processing unit; and an organizing device upstream of the transfer device. The organizing device has: a detection member to detect the presence and position of empty housings and/or housings containing defective products; a gripping member to pick up from or release product into any housing; and a control unit to control the gripping member, based on data received from the detection member, to move one or more products from the respective housings so that defective or missing products are in the housings having the same composition as a group of products to form a group of defective or missing products.
RECYCLING SYSTEM FOR THE UTILIZATION OF REUSABLE OBJECTS
A recycling system for recycling reusable objects comprises one or more separating and receiving apparatuses and at least one recyclable object. The separating and receiving apparatus for separating reusable objects and residual waste comprises: a first receiving container for receiving residual waste; a second receiving container for receiving labeled objects; and a sorting device. The sorting device is designed to detect labeled objects, transfer detected objects to the second receiving container, and transfer other objects to the first receiving container.
