METHOD FOR CLEANING PAINT SPRAY GUN
20200338583 · 2020-10-29 ·

A method for cleaning a paint spray gun, which comprises a rotating atomization head to apply a coating material while rotating and an outer circumferential tube to cover the exterior of the rotating atomization head, has a cleaning solution application step for applying a cleaning solution to the external face of the outer circumferential tube, and a rotating atomization head rotation step for generating a rotational flow between the rotating atomization head and the outer circumferential tube by rotating the rotating atomization head. The cleaning solution flowing down the external face of the outer circumferential tube applied in the cleaning solution application step penetrates between the rotating atomization head 5 and the outer circumferential tube by way of the rotational flow. Such method uses a small amount of cleaning solution for cleaning external and internal faces of the outer circumferential tube and the external face of a rotating atomization head.

Auto-adjusting vehicle pressure washer

A pressure washing system is disclosed for integration into a recreational vehicle or other large mobile vehicle. The wand of the system includes a rotating brush and one or more sensors to determine a distance from, pressure against, or orientation with respect to the vehicle. While a pump is supplying water to be output by the wand, the distance, pressure, orientation, or other sensor readings are continuously used to modify output characteristics of the wand, including the output water pressure and the speed of rotation of the brush. As a result, no more pressure is supplied by water or brush bristles than is necessary, avoiding overuse of water or damage to outer surfaces of the vehicle. Sensor readings may include one or more of a camera feed, sonar, lidar, pressure feedback, and accelerometer data. The system may also be responsive to a mobile app on a user's mobile computing device.

A water-fed pole for window cleaning including: an extendable pole having two or more pole sections, the pole sections being moveable relative to each other, in use, to extend and shorten the pole; and one or more clamps, each clamp being coupled to a given pole section and being operable to clamp the given pole section to an adjacent pole section, thereby fixing, in use, the length of the pole. Each clamp including a clamping surface arranged such that, on operation of the clamp, the clamping surface is brought into contact with a surface of the adjacent pole section to clamp the given pole section to the adjacent pole section. The at least a portion of the clamping surface made up of a resilient material.

TRACTOR POWERED PRESSURIZED SEMI-TRACTOR AND TRAILER WASHER
20200223411 · 2020-07-16 ·

An on-board pressurized washing system that utilizes a semi-tractor or trailer's compressed air brake line as its source of compressed air. When the tractor is parked, the air brake lines may be disconnected from the trailer and hooked up to the pressurized washing system. The system is fully mobile and does not need an external power source or water line during operation. The water from the water tank and the compressed air are sprayed separately or together from a spray wand to meet cleaning and sanitation needs of truck drivers in any location when they may not have access to electricity or a water source.
