SHORT-TERM WASH TREATMENT OF PRODUCE
A produce wash system is provided. The produce wash system includes a produce line with a short-term wash device followed by a wash device, a short-term wash treatment that is applied by the short-term wash device to a product, wherein the short-term wash treatment remains on the product for a pretreatment time that lasts until the product reaches the wash device, and a wash treatment that is applied by the wash device to the product, wherein the wash treatment rinses the short-term wash treatment from the product defining the end of the pretreatment time. The pretreatment time is set at or below a damage threshold time beyond which the short-term wash treatment damages the product beyond a damage threshold.
Short-term wash treatment of produce
A method of washing a food product with a short-term, intense treatment solution. One example method generally includes: applying, using a short-term wash device, a short-term wash treatment solution to the food product; and applying, using a wash device coupled to the short-term wash device, a wash treatment to the food product such that the wash treatment rinses the short-term wash treatment solution from the food product, wherein: the short-term wash treatment solution is applied to the food product for a shorter duration than the wash treatment is applied to the food product; the short-term wash treatment solution is chemically different from the wash treatment; and the short-term wash treatment solution comprises an acidulant and a polyol.
Short-term wash treatment of produce
A method of produce washing using a short-term wash device. The method of produce washing includes processing a product through the short-term wash device followed by a wash device, applying a short-term wash treatment using the short-term wash device to the product such that the short-term wash treatment remains on the product for a pretreatment time that lasts until the product reaches the wash device, and applying a wash treatment using the wash device to the product such that the wash treatment rinses the short-term wash treatment from the product defining the end of the pretreatment time, wherein the pretreatment time is set at or below a damage threshold time beyond which the short-term wash treatment damages the product beyond a damage threshold.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECYCLING
The present invention provides an apparatus for recycling artificial or synthetic layered materials. The apparatus includes a first conveying section arranged to receive and unroll a used or pre-processed roll of artificial or synthetic layered material, in use, and at least a second conveying section arranged to receive and re-roll the subsequently processed roll of said material. The apparatus further includes a beating section located intermediate said first and second conveying sections, arranged to beat and/or agitate said unrolled material as it is moved from the first conveying section to the at least second conveying section, in use.
Aggregate washing systems, methods, and apparatus
Aggregate washing systems are described including mechanisms for slurrying, washing and/or dewatering aggregate material. Some embodiments include a slurry mixer having a tank, water inlet and propulsion assembly. Some embodiments include a dewatering mechanism having a vibrating screen.
Rice washer
A rice washer includes a charging part into which milled rice is charged; a pressurized-stirring part which is provided at a rear-stage of the charging part and stirs and sequentially feeds the milled rice charged from the charging part under pressure; and a rinsing and stirring part which is provided at a rear-stage of the pressurized-stirring part and rinses the milled rice sent from the pressurized-stirring part while stirring.
Immersion/spray rinse system and methods of use
Provided herein are systems, methods and apparatuses for an immersion and spray rinsing system comprising a tank with improved cleanliness of the parts between immersion and spray.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TREATING BIOMASS MATERIAL
According to the present invention, there is provided a cleaning system for biomass material handling systems and methods for such system. The cleaning system for a biomass material treatment stage in a continuous process system includes a hydrolysis or pre-hydrolysis reactor, a feeding arrangement is arranged to continuously feed biomass material to an inlet of the reactor, wherein reactor includes a reactor screw for moving the biomass material through the reactor and a discharge pipe including a discharge screw for continuously discharging treated biomass material. At least one high-pressure cleaning nozzle is arranged inside a housing of said reactor, wherein the at least one high-pressure cleaning nozzle is arranged to eject cleaning agent at predetermined intervals during operation of the reactor.
SHORT-TERM WASH TREATMENT OF PRODUCE
A produce wash system is provided. The produce wash system includes a produce line including a short-term wash device and a rinse transition component followed by a wash device, a short-term wash treatment that is applied by the short-term wash device to a product, wherein the short-term wash treatment remains on the product for a pretreatment time that lasts until the short-term wash treatment is rinsed off, and a rinse solution applied by the rinse transition component that rinses the product after the product leaves the short-term wash device and before the product enters the wash device, and a wash treatment that is applied by the wash device to the product, wherein the wash treatment rinses any remaining short-term wash treatment from the product. The pretreatment time is set at or below a damage threshold time beyond which the short-term wash treatment damages the product beyond a damage threshold.
Maintaining a solar power module
A method for cleaning a solar power system includes operating a solar power system that comprises a plurality of solar power cells mounted on a spherical frame; rotating the spherical frame to move the plurality of solar power cells into a volume of a hemispherical reservoir that is mounted to the spherical frame; rotating the spherical frame to move the plurality of solar power cells into a solar cell cleaning solution fluid enclosed within the volume of the hemispherical reservoir defined between an interior surface of the reservoir and the spherical frame; and removing, with the solar cell cleaning solution, a plurality of particulates attached to the plurality of solar power cells.
