BASKET FOR CARRYING A CONTACT LENS DURING ITS TREATMENT IN A BATH
An embodiment of the invention is a basket for holding contact lenses. The basket comprises a first basket and a second basket mating members, each basket member comprises a basket wall defining a first cavity, a planar flange extending out around the first cavity, a plurality of spaced fingers extending upward circumferentially from the periphery of the cavity, wherein the first basket and second basket mating members having a same structure, wherein the first basket and second basket mating members forming a second cavity when mated for receiving said contact lens, the cavity inhibiting inversion or rolling over of said contact lens when emplaced therein. A tray that comprises a plurality of baskets is another embodiment of the invention. In addition, the invention provides a stack assembly that comprises a plurality of trays each of which comprises a plurality of baskets.
SIEVING APPARATUSES FOR PUPAE SEPARATION
A sieving method for separating insect pupae is described. The method may include causing an actuation system of a sieving apparatus to cycle between a first elevation and a second elevation to cyclically submerge a sieve surface of a sieving device in a liquid held within a basin so as to separate a population of insect pupae present in the sieving device with respect to size. The method may also include causing actuation of one or more valves to drain the liquid from the basin in order to retrieve a first part of the population of insect pupae. Corresponding computer-readable devices and systems that perform the sieving method are also described.
Substrate treating apparatus and substrate treating method
Disclosed is a substrate treating apparatus. The substrate treating apparatus includes a spin head configured to support the substrate, a cup surrounding an outer circumference of the spin head, a first ejection member having a first nozzle configured to discharge a first chemical to the substrate located in the spin head, and a second ejection member having a second nozzle configured to discharge a second chemical of the same chemical composition as that of the first chemical to the substrate located in the spin head.
VORTEX ENHANCING CLEANING DEVICE
A cleaning device is provided. The cleaning device includes a basket-like structure. The basket-like structure comprises a wall-like portion which comprises a base. The base comprises a central portion, wherein shape, size and perforations of the base of the basket-like structure is designed to provide substantially more resistance to a fluid in the blender jar. The shape, size, and perforation of the wall-like portion is designed to provide substantially less resistance to the fluid in the blender jar. The device is a vortex enhancing device. The design of the base and the wall-like portion are capable of producing enhanced vortex in a fluid placed in the blender jar, during a working state of the blender jar.
Automatic washer for continuous positive airway pressure equipment
An automatic washer for continuous positive airway pressure equipment has a housing defining a wash chamber having an open face providing access to the wash chamber, a door selectively closing the open face, a dual eccentric nozzle protruding into the wash chamber, a rack slidingly receivable within the wash chamber, and a spray nozzle in the bottom surface of the wash chamber. The rack has a hose clamp oriented to secure an end of a CPAP hose when seated in the rack with an open end of the CPAP hose facing the dual eccentric nozzle. The dual eccentric nozzle has an air conduit that introduces air during a drying cycle and a water conduit that introduces water during a rinse cycle, and when the rack is fully inserted in the wash chamber, the dual eccentric nozzle is received inside the hose clamp, thereby, inside the CPAP hose when present.
SIEVING APPARATUSES FOR PUPAE SEPARATION
A sieving apparatus for separating insect pupa is described. In an example, the sieving apparatus includes a sieving device attached to an actuation system. The sieving device includes a set of openings sized to correspond to a cross-sectional cephalothorax width of a representative pupa of a population of insect pupae to be separated. The actuation system is configured to move the sieving device in a manner that causes smaller insect pupae to pass through the set of openings. Larger insect pupae remain within the sieving device. Such movement can include moving the sieving device with respect to a liquid held in a basin of the sieving apparatus.
DETERGENT DISPENSING DEVICE
The detergent dispensing device includes a base and an extrusion assembly. The extrusion assembly is joined to the base, and includes a seat member having a first tube and a second tube extending upward and forward, respectively. A volume control member is configured inside the first tube and a resilient engagement member is reciprocally moveable along the second tube. The extrusion assembly also includes a connection member connecting the first tube. A detergent bottle is fit on the connection member and the detergent flows into the first tube through the connection member. When the engagement member is engaged, a first ball of the volume control member allows the detergent to flow out of the first tube. As the engagement member is restored resiliently, the first ball blocks the first tube, thereby providing a fixed amount of detergent.
CLEANING MACHINE AND BASKET FOR TIMEPIECE OR JEWELLERY COMPONENTS
Cleaning machine for timepiece or jewellery components, including cleaning baskets with a receptacle including a bottom and a peripheral partition separating the internal volume of the receptacle, and an environment outside the basket, which includes in the bottom or in the peripheral partition, flared holes whose cross-section is smaller towards the receptacle than towards the external environment, the machine including cleaning means and drying means arranged to circulate cleaning or drying fluids through flow orifices and flared holes, and effluent collecting means arranged to collect effluents from the cleaning and drying operations.
METHOD OF MANAGING REUSE OF RETURNABLE BOTTLE
A method of managing reuse of a returnable bottle is disclosed. The method individually manages returnable bottles so as to manage reuse linked with their individual states of use and thereby enable reusable bottles to be separated from other bottles in a scientific manner. The method comprises, at the time of new production of a returnable bottle body, forming on a bottle body surface a product identification mark part engraved with an identification code as product identification data of the bottle body, reading the product identification mark part and writing and storing the product, identification data of the bottle body in the storage medium linked with individual transport state data relating to transport of the bottle body, and judging permission for continued reuse of the bottle body based on the individual transport state data stored in the storage medium.
