KEG CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20170240408 · 2017-08-24 ·

A keg cleaning system and method is provided. The keg cleaning system and method is operable to first pump a fluid cleaner through an intake of a keg coupler and into a keg at a high pressure. The liquid cleaner is pumped into the keg for a short period of time. After the liquid cleaner has been pumped into the keg, CO2 or air is then pumped through the intake of the keg coupler and into the keg at a high pressure for a short period of time. The liquid cleaner is then forced out of a keg coupler exhaust. The steps are repeated until the inside of the keg is clean. Due to the repeated surges from the pump and the surges from the air or CO2 the inside of the keg is thoroughly cleaned.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A SELF-CLEANING OUTDOOR GARBAGE CAN

A system and method for a self-cleaning outdoor garbage can having a pivoting attached lid with an oscillating or rotating water sprayer attached to the inside of the lid, allowing the water sprayer to clean the interior of the garbage can without an individual having to be present or attend to the cleaning process.

Vessel spray cleaning device
09724738 · 2017-08-08 · ·

A spray cleaning device for cleaning the interior of a vessel or the like through an access opening in an underside thereof. The cleaning device includes a wheeled carriage positionable in selected relation to a vessel to be cleaned, an elongated frame having a central drive shaft extending along its length, and a rotatable spray head supported in an upstanding relation to a downstream end of said elongated housing for rotation about multiple axes. The elongated frame is pivotably supported by said wheeled carriage for selective positioning of the spray head within the vessel to be cleaned, and the spray head has a liquid supply which communicates with a liquid inlet to an upstanding support thereof downstream of the central drive shaft so said liquid is not transmitted along the drive shaft.

Electrodischarge apparatus

An electrodischarge apparatus has a nozzle that includes a discharge chamber that has an inlet for receiving a liquid and an outlet. The apparatus has a first electrode extending into the discharge chamber that is electrically connected to one or more high-voltage capacitors. A second electrode is proximate to the first electrode to define a gap between the first and second electrodes. A switch causes the one or more capacitors to discharge across the gap between the electrodes to create a plasma bubble which expands to form a shockwave that escapes from the nozzle ahead of the plasma bubble.

Method for cleaning a (meth)acrylate ester process tank

Provided is a method for removing deposited solid residue from equipment used in the processing of (meth)acrylic acid or esters, including the steps of dissolving the solid residue in a cleaning solution comprising an organic carboxylic acid to produce a solid residue slurry; and removing the solid residue slurry from the equipment.

SCRAPER DEVICE FOR CENTRIFUGE
20170266671 · 2017-09-21 ·

The present invention relates to a scraper device for centrifuge comprising a tubular runner mounted on a fixed base with the capacity to rotate around and slide along a vertical central axis through the action of a rotation actuator and an up and down actuator, respectively, a scraper assembly including a blade and an blow nozzle fixed at a lower end of the tubular runner, a tubular rod coaxially installed inside the tubular runner and fixed at its upper end to the fixed base by means of a support, and upper and lower gas pipes telescopically coupled to one another, located inside the tubular rod, fixed to the tubular rod and to the tubular runner, respectively, and connected to a pressurized gas supply device and to the blow nozzle, respectively.

CONTAINER-INTERIOR DRYING DEVICE AND CONTAINER-INTERIOR DRYING METHOD

Provided are a container-interior drying device and a container-interior drying method capable of shortening drying time and improving the efficiency in an entire filling line without causing container deformation, the device having a simple configuration and requiring little space for installation. The device includes a gas ejector nozzle (110) capable of being inserted into an interior of a container through an opening of the container, a suction mechanism (120) capable of facing the opening of the container, and a gas supply unit (130) configured to supply the gas ejector nozzle (110) with gas, wherein gas is ejected into the interior of the container from the gas ejector nozzle (110), and the suction mechanism (120) positioned so as to face the opening of the container sucks out gas through the opening of the container.

SAFETY CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER WITH A MEDIA SUPPLY LINE
20170259965 · 2017-09-14 ·

A safety closure for or on a container with a media supply line is described. The safety closure comprises: a lid which is actuated in particular mechanically for closing the container; a shut-off device for shutting off the media supply line; a pivoting lever with an actuating arm for pressing on the lid and with an in particular opposite first locking element; and a second locking element which is drive-coupled to the shut-off device and, which as a stop for the first locking element, being selectively operative when the shut-off device is open, is configured such that the lid can not be opened. Accidentally opening the lid when the container is spray rinsed can thereby be prevented in a simple and reliable manner.

ELECTROMAGNETIC CONVEYOR
20170252784 · 2017-09-07 ·

An electromagnetic propulsion system for electrically conductive articles, such as aluminum beverage cans. Currents in coils disposed along a passageway induce currents in aluminum cans in the passageway. The electromagnetic fields produced by the coil currents and the eddy currents in the cans interact to produce forces that propel the cans along the passageway. A coil drive supplies the coils with a low-frequency current to propel the cans and a high-frequency current to heat the cans. The coils are arranged as solenoids encircling the passageway or as planar arrays bracketing the passageway. Besides being used to propel aluminum cans, the coils can be used to spin cans. The electromagnetic propulsion systems are shown in can washers and dryers.
