AUGER CLEANED INACCESSIBLE FLOOR SYSTEM
Auger cleaned inaccessible floor systems to maximize operational capacity of inaccessible floors. The auger cleaned inaccessible floor system includes a floor having at least one channel beneath the lowest point of the floor extending horizontally at least half the length of the longest dimension of the floor and adapted for receiving an auger cleaner, at least one gate complex that provides fluid communication between the channel and at least one box and further provides access to the floor for the auger cleaner, and at least one box to deliver the auger cleaner to the channel and adapted for equalizing pressure when the inaccessible floor is under water to deliver an auger cleaner for cleaning. Thus, the auger cleaned inaccessible floor system allows cleaning of the inaccessible floor while the inaccessible floor system is in operation increasing the yield from the inaccessible floor system.
System and method for cleaning wine and/or a barrel containing wine
There is disclosed a system and method for processing wine and/or a containing barrel, while keeping a volume of most of the wine in the barrel. The disclosed system and method can provide reduced mixing of different layers of wine in the barrel. An optional scrubbing mechanism cleans an interior surface of the barrel from encrusted matter, and an optional UV sterilization light source sanitizes an interior surface of the barrel that is alongside a cavity in the barrel empty of wine. In some embodiments a pumping and filtering system preserves non-mixing flow of wine in the barrel while effectively filtering wine optionally without the use of a filter cartridge or other interposing medium.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING SOLIDS FROM A VESSEL
An apparatus, system and method for removing solids from a vessel, such as sand in the bottom of a heavy oil production storage tank used in a SAGD or CHOPS production application, in which the solids are fluidized and pumped out of the vessel using the same tank opening. A pipe or stinger is configured for insertion into a vessel, adjacent or into the solids to be removed, the stinger comprising a water injection conduit, a fluidized materials removal conduit, and a vibrating member. Water is injected through the stinger while the vibrating member imparts vibration to the solids, thus fluidizing the solids, and the fluidized solids are then removed through the fluidized materials removal conduit of the stinger.
Apparatus for cleaning the interior of an above ground storage tank
An apparatus and method for cleaning the interior of an above ground storage tank includes a nozzle assembly mounted to a cover on the storage tank sidewall having a horizontally extending wash pipe fixedly and a suction pipe for recirculation of spent fluids. The wash pipe has an interior segment which can be extended to a tank floor and is configured with a bend to extend along the tank sides all to which is attached a submersible swivel joint fitted with a choked nozzle. A control assembly is provided to direct from the nozzle from the exterior of the storage tank. The nozzle vibrates in response to flow of wash fluid from the wash pipe.
Vehicle mounted garbage bin cleaning system including power takeoff
A vehicle mounted garbage bin cleaning system including power takeoff includes a pair of arms configured for lifting a garbage bin, the pair of arms rotatably coupled to a mount on the vehicle, a hopper configured for accepting the garbage bin when the pair of arms lifts the garbage bin into the hopper, at least one spray rod extending upwards from the hopper, said spray rod including a water nozzle, wherein when the pair of arms lifts the garbage bin into the hopper, the spray rod is situated within the garbage bin, a hydraulic pump mechanically coupled with a transmission of the vehicle, such that the transmission drives the hydraulic pump, a hydraulic motor hydraulically coupled with the hydraulic pump, a pressure washer pump mechanically coupled to the hydraulic motor, the spray rod fluidically coupled with the pressure washer pump.
SLUDGE HARVESTER IMPROVEMENTS
Apparatus for collecting solids settling at the bottom of a liquid reservoir, the apparatus including: a plurality of suction head assemblies, each suction head assembly including a hollow suction head configured to cause agitation of solids settling in or around the suction head and draw the solids entrained in a liquid flow into one or more outlets of the suction head; a manifold including a body having one or more inlets coupled to the one or more outlets of each suction head to permit the collected solids entrained in the liquid flow to pass into the manifold and one or more discharge ports configured to expel the collected solids entrained in the liquid flow from the manifold; and a pumping arrangement that draws in liquid and entrained solids from the suction head assemblies via the manifold and discharges the liquid and entrained solids via a discharge pipe.
Method for maintaining solids in suspension in bulk storage tanks
A method for maintaining solids and heavy liquids in fluid suspension within a bulk storage tank includes providing a nozzle and suction assembly mounted to a storage tank sidewall having a horizontally extending discharge pipe and a suction pipe for recirculation of the emulsion of fluids within the storage tank. The discharge pipe and suction pipe can be extended to the tank floor and configured with a bend to extend along the tank sidewall to which is attached a submersible swivel joint fitted with a choked nozzle. The nozzle and suction assembly produce positive and vacuum pressure, respectively, for causing the simultaneous discharge and suction of contained tank fluids to cause recirculation. The nozzle may be adjusted so the direction of flow may follow the angle of the tank floor.
