Capture and recycling methods for non-aqueous cleaning materials

Included are methods and systems for recycling a gas emitted from non-aqueous cleaning. An example method includes contacting a contaminated equipment with a non-aqueous cleaning material; wherein the spent non-aqueous cleaning material emits the gas. The method further comprises capturing the emitted gas, filtering the emitted gas, and recycling the emitted gas into the non-aqueous cleaning material.

UV LIGHT DISINFECTION AND CLEANING OF NARROW TUBE LUMENS
20220175990 · 2022-06-09 ·

Systems and methods for cleaning and disinfecting contaminated tube lumens are described herein. One system includes an ultraviolet light source and a sterile fluid reservoir fluidly coupled to a liquid light guide. The system is configured to allow simultaneous access and propagation of ultraviolet light and fluid in a tube having a lumen to be cleaned and disinfected. The light guide can be moved inside the tube and simultaneously emit ultraviolet light through its walls and at its distal end into the interior of the contaminated tube. A flush of sterile fluid from an open end of the liquid light guide removes debris and micro-organism detached from the inner surface during light exposure. The sterile fluid can be a high refractive index ionic solution promoting light propagation.

An anal irrigation system and related methods for maintaining

An anal irrigation system and a method for maintenance of an anal irrigation system comprising a tube assembly is disclosed, the method comprising a container and a tube assembly, the method comprising: providing instructions instructing a user to arrange a distal end of the tube assembly in the container for forming a liquid path and to fill liquid into the container; detecting liquid in the container; initiating a disinfection procedure, the disinfection procedure comprises; circulating the liquid in the liquid path for one or more cycles, the one or more cycles comprise one or more liquid circulations; providing instructions instructing the user to discharge liquid from the liquid path.

Cleaning Apparatus For Use In Machine Washing Of Surgical Handpieces
20220160459 · 2022-05-26 ·

A directed flow apparatus is proposed for improving the mechanical washing of surgical instrument handpieces. The apparatus takes the form of a cleaning adaptor that is designed to attach to the distal opening of the handpiece and an inlet port connector inserted on a fluid jet of the mechanical washer. A suitable length of tubing is connected between the cleaning adaptor and the inlet port connector so that when the washing cycle begins, a high force stream of cleaning fluid is specifically directed into the interior of the handpiece and focusing the direction of the cleaning fluid into a channel that is not easily accessible otherwise.

DRAIN CLEARING AIR GUN

A drain clearing air gun includes a housing defining a main body, a handle positioned on a first end of the main body, and a nose positioned on a second end of the main body. The drain clearing air gun additionally includes a tank at least partially positioned within the housing and including a chamber for receiving pressurized air, a motor positioned within the main body of the housing, and a pump positioned within the main body of the housing and operatively coupled to the motor. The pump is driven by the motor to pump air into the tank. The drain clearing air gun also includes a connection mechanism coupled to the nose. The connection mechanism includes a receiving member configured to releasably couple to a plurality of accessories.

STENT RETRIEVER CLEANING DEVICES AND METHODS

An exemplary device is indicated for use in physically debriding thrombus fragments from a stent retriever, using hospital-grade saline, or heparinized saline, for example. This device may be used in the sterile field, during a mechanical thrombectomy procedure.

Multi-cartridge drain guns, accessories therefor, and methods of use and manufacture thereof

A drain gun includes a handle and a trigger. The handle includes a channel and a plurality of inlets. The inlets feed the channel. The trigger causes a staged release of a plurality of fluids from a plurality of cartridges to the channel via the inlets when the cartridges are stored in the handle and feeding the inlets.

MILKING DEVICE WITH A MILK FILTER

A milking device for milking a dairy animal is provided with milking mechanism, a control system, a milk pipeline for transporting the milk from the milking mechanism to a milk tank, a milk filter and a cleaning device. The cleaning device includes at least one cleaning fluid holder, a heating device for heating cleaning fluid in the cleaning fluid holder, an additive storage holder for additive, an additive adding device for controlled addition of the additive to cleaning fluid, and a valve system for regulating flows of cleaning fluid and additive through the milking device. The cleaning device is configured for carrying out a cleaning cycle of the milking device with a prerinse with cold or tepid water, a hot rinse with heated water and an acidic or basic additive, a postrinse, and at least between the hot rinse and the postrinse, a counterflow cleaning step by passing cleaning fluid in counterflow through the milk filter. Thus, a milking device is provided that can be cleaned automatically as a whole including the milk filter. In particular, because the counterflow cleansing takes place after the hot rinse step, there is better removal of dirt and milk residues that are softened thereby, in particular from the milk filter.

A pressure independent control valve (PICV) is disclosed. The PICV has a body having a flow path extending therethrough and a cavity within the flow path to releasably receive a mechanism via an aperture. The PICV also has a cap comprising the mechanism. The cap is configured to move between a locked position where the cap is retained on the body and an unlocked position where the cap is releasable from the body. The cap is retained in the locked position by one or more bayonet fixings.

DRAIN TREATMENT
